Ric Chooses Sides. Thursday, March 27 2008

Ric goes to Sonny with a proposition, Claudia goes to Jason with a gun and Carly offers Lulu a job.

As Jason walks in her door, Carly tells him that she's certain that her baby was a girl. She wipes her tears and says that she was so caught up in her pregnancy and Jax that she didn't see the warning signs that Michael was in trouble. Jason says that he should've warned her. She asks what has happened to their relationship? She says that she feels like an obligation to him lately. She adds that he barely tolerates her and then asks why. Jason thinks for a minute and then tells her that she hates the mother of his child, that's why! He asks her to stand behind his choices like he always stands behind hers. Carly asserts that he and Liz are fundamentally different people and he'll never be happy with her. But, she swears to never say another word as long as he promises never to lie to her again.

Jax comes home and finds Jason with Carly. Jason expresses his condolences and Jax tells him to consider what all of this violence costs Carly. Jason leaves and Jax asks Carly how her visit went with Dr. Lee. Still stinging from his coldness to Jason, she says that they can try for a baby whenever they want. Jax suggests that they wait for a little while so they don't get their hopes up. He asks her to lunch before his meeting with Kate, but Carly wants to lie down.

Over at Kate's house, Claudia and Kate are going at it when Sonny walks in the door. Claudia tells him that since he's here he might as well know that she set him up. She states that she researched what kind of women he goes for, gave it to him and he ate it up like a starved boy! With Kate looking on, Sonny carefully says that he knew exactly what she was that night. Claudia spits that when he stuck his tongue down her throat and then put a gun in her side it was a big turn off. She warns Kate what a dark man she's with and then leaves.

Kate sends Maxie out of the room and Sonny quickly tries to explain. Kate says that she's not sure she wants to hear it. She says that part of him is dangerous and Claudia brings that to the surface. Sonny says that he has three beautiful children, a legitimate business to run and a woman who finally gives him some hope. "Why would I throw all that away for a tramp like Claudia Zacchara?" he asks. Kate melts into his arms.

Lulu is stuck in the middle of the Q foyer between Tracy and Luke. Edward comes out and sides with Tracy and Alice comes out and says that she and Cook and the rest of the staff are leaving if Mr. Luke isn't welcomed back home. Turns out that Luke has been playing cards with the entire staff on Thursday nights and Edward is upset that he has never been invited! Lulu asks Luke if he'll be okay because she has some errands to run and he assures her that he is with loved ones. When they are finally alone in the study, Luke promises Tracy that he's not been unfaithful for months. They trade barbs until finally she says he can stay - but at her mercy.

Marianna meets Ric on the waterfront and gushes about their new restaurant on the piers. He tells her that there won't be a restaurant because he signed the papers over to his father. She is stunned as he says that he knows she has been working with Trevor all along. He asks how it came to be that Trevor convinced her to do whatever it took. "He did not pay me to fall in love with you," she cries. He gets upset as he recalls how hard he struggled in making a fresh start. As she begs him not to hate her, he says that he understands that she was only trying to save herself, but he can never trust her now. He pulls out a check for 20% of what Trevor paid for the piers. She tears it up and he says that he'll messenger another one over to Kelly's for her. She tells him that she's moving back to Martha's Vineyard and he can find her there. Ric says that he'd rather take his revenge out on the person who really deserves it. As she leaves, she tearfully tells him if he wallows in his old baggage his father will have won.

At GH, Lulu is helping Logan to walk around the hallway. They are having fun together until Johnny gets off the elevator. Lulu tries to act as if she doesn't see him, but Logan asks if she wants to say hello. She smiles and tells him that she's with him.

Nik walks away from Nadine, but she demands an explanation of why he's going to let himself die. Nik pulls away and Nadine stomps off to the nurses' desk. She tells Liz that she doesn't understand why Nik's family is letting him kill himself! Later, Liz goes to Robin and Patrick and asks if it's possible that Nikolas is getting any better. Patrick says that it's not, in fact, he should be getting worse. Nik walks by and expresses his disapproval of them discussing his health behind his back. Patrick says that he'd like to run a fresh test and Nikolas says that he's had enough. He rushes off to find Nadine and tells her to stay out of his business!

Lulu shows up at Carly's with some chips and comfort food. They sit and talk about redecorating the nursery with neutral colors and turning it into, perhaps, a music room. Lulu says that Johnny plays the piano and Carly's ears perk up. Lulu explains how tender things became between her and Johnny until she found him with a gun to Sonny's head. She says she should forget about him and Carly says guys like that are hard to forget. She suggests that Lulu get a job or something to keep her head clear. "How do you feel about a career in fashion?" Carly asks.

Jason returns home and Spinelli tells him that Diane called. It seems that Monica confessed to the hit 'n run. Jason is surprised and then tells him that Carly lost her baby. Jason says that he's made a lot of mistakes lately. "I've been lying nonstop ever since I found out that I was Jake's father," he says and adds that people keep getting hurt because of it. As they talk, Claudia arrives at the door and Spinelli greets her with a squeaky "Vixenella!" She is oddly touched by his geekiness and after a boatload of gushing, Jason tells him to leave.

Claudia tells Jason that Trevor goes to Manhattan every Thursday and arrives at the Colony Club at 5:00 PM. She says that killing him would be a piece of cake for Jason and she will be eternally grateful.

Ric goes to Sonny's office and says that he's willing to work his father and turn info over to Sonny. "He's been pitting us together for years and if we work together we can bury him," Ric says. Just then Trevor is announced and Sonny gives a quick nod before Max shows him in.

Trevor asks Ric if he's teaming up with Sonny.

Patrick tells Jason that he needs follow-up surgery.

Jax tells Kate that he wants to help her run the magazine.

Lulu can't believe that Carly wants her to spy on Jax.
