Claudia is mistaken for a hooker by Tracy and is at the receiving end of Kate's biting fashion critique, Luke and Lulu go "home" and Monica faces the music.
Diane breezes into Sonny's office and Jason tells her that he wants her to represent Monica. He explains about his mother's drunken hit 'n run accident and assures Diane that she promises to get help for her drinking. Diane says that working for mobsters is one thing, but drunk drivers are a tough nut to crack. Alexis shows up to meet with Jason and is upset to see that Diane is there.
Tracy shows up in Monica's hospital room at her request. Monica admits that she's a drunk and did indeed hit Sam McCall. She says that Tracy and Luke can move back into the house and she is going into rehab. Tracy is glad that her sister-in-law has finally come to her senses and says that she'll have their lawyers take care of the hit 'n run charges. Monica says that she intends on facing the consequences of her actions. Lulu shows up and Monica apologizes to her and says that she has missed her around the house and she is welcome to come home.
Over at Robin's apartment, Maxie and Robin are talking about how to decorate the nursery. Robin's vision is to makeover her "dressing room" and Maxie tells Robin how much space babies require and lists things like bottles, diapers and playpens. Maxie goes on and tries to tell Robin what products to use and Robin marvels at the wealth of information she knows. Maxie reminds her that she faked a pregnancy not that long ago and did her research. Then they sit and talk about how much they miss Georgie and how this baby actually came about as a result of her.
Claudia pays Luke a visit on The Haunted Star and asks if he's interested in a deal of "mutual exploitation." She wants Luke to get information on Sonny, such as how his organization is run and where he launders his money. Luke asks why he would help her. She tells him that things are about to change in town and an alliance with her will pay off in the long run. Luke is interested in the short run. "Pick a side Spencer, you're either with me or you're dead," Claudia purrs. She pours them both a drink and says they should have some fun since they aren't going into business together. As she tries to seduce him just enough to get him to change his mind, Tracy shows up. She assumes that Claudia is a street walker and Claudia plays along. After she leaves, Luke urges his wife to believe that he was just threatened by a mobster. Tracy tells him that he should go apologize. In fact, she suggests that they drink and smoke together until he croaks!
The Jackses are returning home from a visit with Michael's teacher. As they talk about all of his make-up work, she opens a package that has just been delivered. It's a little pink dress that Jax ordered last week. He offers to return it but she wants to save it for next time. She says that she'll talk to Kelly, but since they both still want a baby, why should they wait?
Back at the hospital, Nikolas goes to talk to Monica about the hospital program he is funding in memory of Emily. Monica compliments how productively he handling his grief and he admits that has an unfair advantage. He tells her about his tumor-induced hallucinations and the time he has been able to spend with Emily because of them. Monica says that she would give anything if she could see her, or Alan, again. She tells him that he should have his surgery soon, but she understands why he is hesitant.
After Nik leaves Monica, Dr. Devlin finds him in the hallway. He says that he heard about Nik's new program to help patients without insurance and about his plans to run it personally. He comments about how easy it will be for him to slip Nik the meds now. Nikolas says that he expects the meds no matter how hard it is for Devlin to deliver them. Nadine approaches Nikolas after Devlin walks on and asks why he is planning a new program if he's not going to live long enough to see it into fruition?
Carly has shown up at the nurse's desk. She asks to see Kelly and Robin makes a wise crack about morning sickness. Carly tells her that she lost the baby and heads toward Kelly's office. Robin turns to Patrick and asks why he didn't tell her! She tries to get back to work and then decides to go home and take it easy for the rest of the day.
Alexis goes to Monica's room although she doesn't know why she's been asked. Diane shows up right behind her and advises her client not to say another word. She explains that Jason has retained her to represent his mother and suddenly Alexis gets it. She asks Monica if she was the person who hit Sam? Diane reminds Monica not to speak and the two lawyers leave her room bickering.
Kate has invited Jax over to her house to go over the numbers on the new magazine they are launching. Before they get down to business, Jax asks how she's doing and informs her that Michael is going into therapy with Lainey Winters. They talk about the violence that surrounds them both due to their respective connections to Sonny and Jax urges Kate to move back to Manhattan since she's not married to him. She tells him that she loves Sonny and is willing to take the risk of building her life around him.
Lulu rushes over to the Haunted Star and tells Luke that Monica is letting them move back into the Quartermaine mansion! They gush over cook's food and Alice's pampering and even pour a little celebratory drink for a toast. When they arrive at the Q mansion, they are down-right giddy. Tracy greets them in the foyer. She tells Lulu that her room is ready and waiting, but Luke has to leave.
Maxie gets the job offer she has been waiting for from Kate. She rushes over to her house and learns what is expected of her. It seems the first order of business is to answer the door. Claudia saunters into the room and informs Kate that she is considering doing her a favor. She says that she and her brother have a couple of bucks to throw around and might consider investing in her new magazine. Kate tells Maxie to take notes on how women should not dress. Then she lists everything that Claudia is wearing. Claudia tells Maxie to write down what Kate Howard is good at. "How to lose a guy," she says as she pops her gum.
Patrick goes over to Robin's house and finds her meditating. He tells her that Carly's miscarriage is sad, but that doesn't mean it will happen to her. Robin says that she wished all bad things onto Carly and needs to fix her bad Karma.
Carly goes home and starts sobbing into the little pink dress. Jason comes in and gives her a big hug.
