Sonny questions Jason's motives, taunts Johnny and ultimately faces off with Trevor.
Peg sits with Michael on her sofa and tries to encourage him to call his father no matter how scared he is of him. Michael clarifies that his father kills for a living and that his uncle Jason told him that when you kill someone it takes away a part of you, too. He worries that he'll always feel empty for killing Kate. Peg can see that the boy is upset so she takes him in her arms.
At the hospital, Lulu can't believe that Johnny is on her phone and she steps away from Logan's bed to talk. Johnny tells her that he only has one phone call and he just wanted to hear her voice. She asks why he didn't call Trevor if he's in trouble. Johnny says that Trevor probably wouldn't care anyway. As she's talking to him, Scott approaches and figures out who she's talking to.
Scott tells Lulu that she's supposed to be talking Logan out of the coma she put him into! Lulu reminds him that he killed Rick Webber and let Laura think she did it. They argue over Spencer/Baldwin history and ultimately she reminds him that she didn't mean to hurt Logan, but he deliberately kept a secret that would hurt people. She says maybe she should tell her dad! Lucky comes by and asks what she should tell Luke? Lulu wiggles out of it and Lucky tells Scott to leave Lulu alone.
Meanwhile, Johnny was busted while talking to Lulu, too. Sonny hears him say her name and takes the phone away. He says that Johnny must have a death wish if he used his one chance to call to find out about Michael to call his girlfriend! Sonny says that he's trying to act like he's as crazy as his old man, but if makes him wait much longer he'll really see what crazy looks like! (What they don't know is that Trevor has been snooping around and seen where Johnny is being kept.)
Liz has gone into Kelly's for take out and found Marianna working there. Marianna tells Liz that she is glad to be working again and that Ric helped her clear up her immigration status. Liz tells her that she met Ric while working here and then comments that so much has changed since then. The two ladies are laughing and chatting when Ric comes in the door. He asks them what's so funny and they giggle some more. Liz says that they have "girl stuff" in common. On her way out, she tells Ric that she really hopes he can find happiness.
At GH, Nik is struggling against the anesthesia because he doesn't want to lose his images of Emily. Then he codes and as the surgeons rush to revive him, he has a vision of joining Emily. He assumes that they are in heaven and they push through a foggy door together. "Heaven has gargoyles too?" he jokes. She tells him that he's still alive, but she's not. She says that she brought him back to Wyndemere to remind him of everything he's leaving behind. She asks him to let go of her for Spencer's sake. Just as she tells him that he has to choose, he opens his eyes.
Lucky pays Sam a visit in her hospital room and apologizes for not believing her when she called him for help. She tells him to stop beating himself up over that because ultimately he saved her life. She asks him for a glass of water and then says that she'd love to know who hit her and ran off. Lucky quietly tells her that there's no news yet. He offers to help her get home and Dr. Devlin comes in like a primate and tells Lucky that Sam isn't going anywhere yet. Lucky leaves and when Sam protests the way he treated Lucky, Dr. Devlin tells her to admit that part of her enjoyed it. She smiles.
Bobbie brings Spencer to the GH daycare and runs into Alexis. Alexis tells her that Nikolas collapsed and is in surgery now. Bobbie can't believe that he put the surgery off for so long. Alexis says that maybe sensing his son's presence will help Nikolas now.
Sonny visits Jason in his room, but not exactly to see how his hands are healing. He asks what he's learned about Michael and then asks when he'll get out of the hospital and back to work. Before Jason can answer, Liz appears in his doorway and informs Sonny that Jason isn't going to risk his recovery by going back to work for him too soon. Sonny tells her, somewhat gently, to stay out of this. She leaves and Sonny tells Jason if he hadn't been chasing Diego maybe he would've found Michael by now. Jason tells Sonny that he had no choice but to stop the car from going off the bridge. Sonny says it sounds like an excuse from a man who doesn't want to do his job anymore. He tells Jason that Johnny will die in 24 hours if Michael isn't back. "What are you going to do if Johnny is dead and Michael still doesn't come back?" Jason asks.
Word is getting out that Nikolas is having his surgery. Alexis and Spencer color together in the lounge and Sam finds them there. Liz shows up and hears about it, followed by Lucky and Lulu. Later, Dr. Devlin escorts Sam as she goes for a walk in the halls. While Lucky looks on, he tells her he's going to make her his special case.
At the Zacchara house, Trevor orders his goon to pressure Ric's new "chippy" and compromise her green card if she doesn't steal the waterfront deeds. Just then Sonny bursts into the room and is quickly is surrounded by Zacchara goons with guns. Sonny says that Johnny is dead in 24 hours unless Michael is returned. Trevor laughs because Sonny is in no position to make threats. Sonny says that if his guys shoot him, Johnny will die even quicker.
In the operating room, Nik opens his eyes on the table. Patrick is happy to have him back and says that they need to get that tumor out now! Nik struggles with the team as they try to put him down. Robin gets kicked in the stomach and drops to the ground.

Sonny has to face Claudia.
Jason warns Sonny to think twice before he does something he can't take back.
"Take him out and waste him," Sonny tells Milo.
