General Hospital - DAILY UPDATES

At Sonny's house, Carly is upset that everything on the first floor of her house is ruined from the flood. But she's more upset that she and the boys will be displaced for a week. Michael and Sonny, however, are happy for the chance for them to all be together.

Sam enters Alexis's hospital room to find Ric sitting by his wife's bedside. Ric questions why Sam wasn't with Alexis or Kristina. Where was she? Patrick interrupts their arguing and says that Alexis runs the risk of permanent brain damage if they keep her in the coma much longer.

Elizabeth gets up after dropping to the ground to avoid gunfire. She screams at Lucky that this time he's so high that he could have hurt the baby. Lucky and Jason both look stunned as she announces, "I'm pregnant!"

Professor Pete tells Lulu that intellectual challenges are not in her comfort zone. He gives her the form that she needs to sign for tuition reimbursement and she tears it up. She agrees to take his stupid class and show him exactly where to shove his condescending attitude!

Carly sits Michael and Sonny down to explain what's what. She threatens to stay in a hotel if anyone thinks this short-term stay at Sonny's will lead to a more permanent situation. They agree to have dinner and Jax walks in saying that he gathers Carly didn't get the flowers he sent or his invitation to dinner. Everyone looks at Sonny, who tries to look innocent.

Jason offers to take Elizabeth to the hospital to see if the baby was hurt during the fall. Lucky wants to know how long she's known she is pregnant. She sees the bag of coke that Lucky was using to frame Jason with and tells him that he doesn't even have a job anymore, how can he hope to bust Jason? Lucky says that none of that matters anymore, they are having a baby! Elizabeth says that SHE is having a baby and that he will have nothing to do with it.

Back at Sonny's, Michael tells Jax that his mom can't have dinner with him because the family has already planned dinner. Carly corrects him and tells Jax that she is indeed coming to dinner with him. Carly questions Sonny as to where her flowers are and this is exactly why she doesn't want to stay with him. They start to argue and Jax says, "Why don't you both give it a rest before another life gets destroyed."

Ric wants to wait 24 hours to wake Alexis up to give her a chance to get over the pneumonia. Nicolas thinks his Aunt would hate to risk her intellectual prowess if the extra time leads to brain damage. Nicolas says that he's known her longer than anyone and he knows what she would want. Sam sides with Nicolas and Ric accuses Sam of making a life and death decision just to undermine him. Sam says that she never considered him, only her mother's well being. In the end, Ric concedes to have Alexis awakened in order to prevent brain damage.

Professor Pete asks Lulu if she's heard of Shakespeare, Dante, Keats. When he sees that she's not responding, he decides that when teaching her, they will have to start from the beginning. She tells him that she knows the lyrics to every classic blues songs and she can handle his crusty poetry.

At Alexis's bedside, Ric tells her that he wants her to survive at all costs. He whispers to her that he has done many things that his is bitterly sorry for, but he wants to turn them around. He says that Lorenzo Alcazar has been looking for an opening, and as soon as he can, he's going to kill Jason. He thinks this will give Alexis the peace of mind that she needs to recover from cancer… (Kristina's father will no longer be a threat because Sonny will be weakened; Sam will be safe, etc.) He takes her hand and kisses it. He tells her that (Lorenzo killing Jason) will be his gift to her.

At Sonny's house, Jax reminds Sonny and Carly that a year ago Elizabeth miscarried his child and how it happened. It was Sonny who drove Carly to a breaking point, which made her run out in traffic. He reminds them that Carly ran out into the road in front of his car and he swerved to avoid her, with Elizabeth as his passenger. As a result, she lost the baby she was carrying for Courtney and him. Jax says he's lost too much already. As he leaves, he tells Carly that he'll be at their table at the Metro Court if she wants to join him for dinner.

At the hospital, Epiphany finds Jason and tells him that she's glad Elizabeth has told him the truth. Jason tells her that he understands why Elizabeth wants to keep her pregnancy quiet, her marriage is falling apart. Epiphany tells Jason to "step up" and give her the special care she needs. Jason tells Elizabeth that even though Lucky is the baby's father, he'd like to help her, as a friend, since Lucky can't right now.

While being examined, Liz and her doctor talk about conception. Her doctor tells her that if Jason does the math, he'd realize that he could be the father. Elizabeth points out that they used a condom and that she doubts that Jason knows that the Endural condom has since been proven defective. When she slept with Lucky, they didn't use any protection and that's why the baby is most likely his.

Lulu is at the Quartermaine house, studying away, when Dillon comes in and asks why in the world Lulu didn't quit PCU. Lulu said that there was an arrogant jerk of a professor who used reverse psychology on her and that is why she's sitting there with a twenty-pound snooze of an English text book. She plans to ace the class just to prove him wrong.

Carly and Sonny reminisce about the time when Carly had a mental breakdown. They had thought Michael was kidnapped and murdered. They discussed how they have always tried to take care of each other when they, respectively, fell apart. He blames himself for when she lost it. He said she was so scared and fragile the night she went to the hospital that it broke his heart. He told her how strong and brave she is now and he won't let her fall apart again.

Alexis was taken off the ventilator and given the medicine to wake up. Her doctor tells everyone that the pneumonia is clearing up and there shouldn't be any side affects from the coma. As she slowly wakes up, Ric tells her "Welcome back." The first thing out of her mouth is, "Did it work?"

Patrick isn't feeling very well and Robin tells him that's what he gets for ordering tofu salad from the cafeteria. He snapped at her and she reminds him that just because he's not feeling well doesn't mean he has HIV.

Carly joins Jax on the terrace at the Metro Court. Carly tells him that before he sweeps her off her feet, there's something she needs to say to him. She apologizes for his loss a year ago because of her. She goes on to say that she's so grateful to be here with him a year later. She doesn't understand how he could romance her after what she's done. Jax says that he lost a child that he never should've fathered in the first place because his marriage was in a downward spiral. But it has led them to someplace amazing. He says it's only been a year and now he's finally happy again. They agree that this is the beginning of something wonderful.

At home, Sonny and Michael are eating plates of pasta and talking about Jax and Carly. Sonny tells Michael that he and Carly are not getting back together. Bernie calls and Sonny needs to go out to meet him.

After Elizabeth returns from her exam, Jason fills her in on what happened when Lucky tried to frame him. She explained that she showed up because Maxi - of all people - warned her that Lucky was going after Jason. Jason offers to take her home but she says she needs to go to the apartment. "What if Lucky is there?" Jason asks. Elizabeth says that's what she is afraid of.

Jax tells Carly that he has closed down the hotel restaurant so that they could be alone. They start to Kiss and Sonny gets off the elevator and sees them. He just shakes his head in defeat.

Patrick, still grouchy, snaps at Epiphany and then Robin approaches him. He admits that he's been feeling tired and achy and it's not going away. He thinks he's a hypochondriac; Robin reaches out to feel his forehead and realizes that he's burning up.

Alexis claims that she's feeling "peachy" and then asks her family if they've all been playing nicely while she was sleeping. The doctor joins them and wants to discuss treatment options. He tells them that the pneumonia is clearing up, but she is still very weak. However, based on biopsy, they need to begin chemo ASAP.

Jason takes Elizabeth to her apartment in case Lucky is there. She keys her way in and Lucky, freshly showered, is packing his suitcase. He's glad to see her and announces that he is checking into rehab tonight. He tells her that when he returns, he'll be ready to be a father to their child.

Robin asks Patrick if there is a reason he doesn't want is blood work done.

Elizabeth tells Lucky that she won't be waiting for him when he returns from rehab.

Alexis tells her family that she's not sure that she'll agree to the chemo.
