Maxi knows how Lucky is planning to get back on track and tries to change the outcome. No one can believe Dillon's sudden change of heart. Elizabeth gets some surprise flowers and a few kind words.

Tracy chastises Lulu for missing the first two days of PCU classes. Lulu explains that she's going to quit college and Edward wants Lulu to reimburse the tuition money that they've given her. Just then, a studious looking Dillon comes in the room and asks his grandfather for the spreadsheet for ELQ's 3rd quarter. All jaws drop to the floor.
Lucky is about to pop some pills with his buddy, Detective Cruise, shows up at the door asking "Is there enough room in here for you and the cockroaches?" He tells Lucky that he's living like a pig and asks where his wife is.
Jason is on the waterfront on a business call when Sam and Kristina run into him. Kristina is glad to see Jason and asks him to take them out for a boat ride. He tells her that the boat is getting repaired and Sam sends her over to the ice cream man. Sam asks Jason to meet her later where no one will seem them. To talk. Jason agrees and says that he knows just the place.
Lulu thinks Dillon wants to sue ELQ for selling defective condoms. She says the conglomerate was playing "baby roulette" and that is surely why he has suddenly taken an interest in the family business. Dillon says he doesn't plan on suing a company that he plans on working for one day. What happened to film, his mother asks him. Dillon tells her, "It's like what grandfather says, it is a waste of Quartermaine genes"
Liz is talking with Epiphany at the hospital about getting a paternity test before she tells Lucky that she's pregnant. She tells her confidant that she had a miscarriage once and she has a feeling something will go wrong with this baby too. Just then, Jax walks in with a giant bouquet of flowers, but not for Alexis, for Liz! Turns out, it's the anniversary of Jax and Courtney's surrogate baby that she lost. Jax tells Liz that they all made mistakes last year. And in spite of what happened, he really wanted that baby. He goes on to say that it would've changed a lot of things for he and Courtney. He acknowledges to Liz that it must've been hard for her to carry their baby since her husband never wanted her to. Liz wistfully says that Lucky has always wanted them to have a baby of their own.
Detective Cruise gives Lucky the files that the PCPD has on Jason. He tells Jason that after yesterday, he should turn in his gun and badge. That he shouldn't go after Jason - he has no backup. Lucky yells that he has a gun - that's all the back up he needs! Cruise leaves after saying "I was never here, you got that?"
Alcazar tells Jason that he's landing a shipment this weekend and that he expects the Corinthos organization, such as it is, to cooperate. Jason tells him that if he stays out of their way, they will stay out of his. Alcazar reminds Jason that right now there are so many people counting on him that he almost feels sorry for him. He says he will shut down the Corinthos organization permanently if they make any moves against him.
Meanwhile at Lucky's place, Maxi knocks on the door. She says it's not her fault that he was fired. She says that her dad is upset because he thinks that Lucky used her. She says if they get together, Mac will see how happy they are and then he can get his job back. Lucky says he'll get his job back by handing in the biggest bust in PC. He tells her, again, "There is no us."
At the hospital, Kristina tells Sam that she wants her mommy. Sam explains, again, why her mommy is still sleeping. She tells her sister that it's getting late and that they need to get dinner and get her to bed. She tells Kristina that she has a meeting to go to later and Kristina says she doesn't want to stay with Viola, she wants her!
Dillon tries to convince his mother and grandfather that the PCU classes on film are boring, and that movies are only movies. He says that Warren Buffet isn't a film maker and he knows how to "open big". He tells his grandfather to reinvest in him and start looking at him like an ELQ member. "If I end up having a knack for this business thing, I'd like an internship at ELQ," he says. Edward is thrilled and Tracy is skeptical. Lulu follows Dillon outside and asks, "Who do you think you're fooling?" Dillon tells her that the odds of him making it as a director are slim and that he has a company business waiting for him. He says that film-making doesn't have any relevance in the real world. Lulu thinks he's trying to please his parents to that he won't feel so badly about the abortion. Dillon tells her that his decision has nothing to do with her, but she doesn't buy it. She says then, that she's quitting school for the same reason. It has no relevance.
Jason goes to the hospital and asks Liz if she's seen Ric talking to Alcazar around the hospital. Liz confirms that she has and asks why the concern? Jason says he's just trying to see a pattern, and asks Liz to let him know the next time she sees them together. She tells him that it's kind of nice being able to help him for a change.
Lucky skulks into the PCPD storage room looking for some evidence he can use against Jason. He finds a bag of cocaine, puts it in his pants, and leaves.
Maxi approaches Liz, and Liz tells her to go away. Maxi tells Liz that she overdosed on pills to try to get Lucky to stay with her. Liz tells her that she knows and that her dad, Mac, isn't happy. Maxi insists that Liz listen to her. She tells Liz that Lucky is going to try to bust Jason Morgan tonight in order to get his job, and his marriage, back. Liz asks Maxi "Why is it that every time you do something stupid, every one else pays the price?" Liz tells Maxi that she can live with the drug addict, they're over. Maxi says that she'd like to believe that Liz still cares enough about him to save his life. She wants Liz to tell her friend Jason to get out of town.
Georgie finds Dillon working on a PDA and jokes that his mommy will be so mad at him for taking it. She then asks why he's wearing glasses instead of his contacts. She says she's planning on taking a film class so that they can spend more time together. He tells her that he's going to drop film and that he's going to take business classes. She laughs.
Edward tells Tracy that he's going to take Dillon on a tour of the ELQ office building tomorrow. Tracy thinks that Dillon is young and impulsive and that by tomorrow he might choose to be an airline pilot. Edward thinks that something good is going to happen with Dillon - that he has grown up the last few weeks.
Lulu enters her professor's office and a young handsome guy comes in behind her. Lulu tells him to take a number that the professor is gone. She tells him that she needs a form signed to get her tuition back. The guy tells her that he is the professor, Pete, and she needs to convince him why he should sign off on why she's quitting college before she ever started.
Lucky calls Jason and tells him that they should meet over some important information about Sam.
Georgie doesn't believe that Dillon's dream of being a director could end overnight. Dillon explains that during a film class debate he realized he had nothing to say. He said to himself, "What a load of crap." Dillon says that if he's going to sell out he might as do it the old fashioned way, big business baby. He denies that his decision has anything to do with a baby that never was.
Professor Pete finds the form and asks her "Who's the coward?" Meaning, what name should he put on the form? Also what reason should he give the bean counters? Lulu goes on a tirade about how lame college is for kids who are pretending they are adults. Lulu says that she already grew up this summer. Pete tells her that he wrote down that she is alienated and would rather quit than take a chance. Pete wishes Lulu luck in her new profession, whatever it is. He asks her to practice saying, "Clean up on aisle seven."
Jason meets Lucky on the waterfront and Lucky sweatily, joyfully, tells him that he's about to bust him for drug possession. Jason tells him that everybody knows he doesn't do drugs. But Lucky tosses the bag of coke to his feet and says, "Not now." A shaky gun is pointing at Jason, while Lucky yells that everyone believes he's the hero Lucky Spencer and that everyone will believe him over Jason. Jason tells him that he needs help, that he's too good for this. Footsteps are heard in the background and Lucky angrily thinks he's being ambushed. He turns around and fires toward the direction of the sounds. Elizabeth falls to the ground - he has shot her.
