Maxie won't accept that he killed himself, Tracy sues Monica for malpractice and Ric opens up to a virtual stranger.
"Cut him down!" Maxi is screaming as she sees Coop hanging from a noose in his room. Mike and then Jason rush upstairs and tell her that he's dead. Mike takes her back downstairs as Jason scopes the room for clues. Downstairs, Logan and Lulu are shocked to hear that Coop is dead.
"Hand over my son," Liz calmly tells Sam as she keys into Lucky's house. Sam gives Jake to Liz and says that she fed and changed him. Liz is furious that Lucky would leave Jake with Sam and Sam says she would never do anything to hurt him. Liz reminds her that she stood by and watched him get kidnapped. Sam can see that Liz isn't feeling well, but Liz is focused on getting Sam out of there. Sam tries to help her, but she won't lie down. She tells Sam to end things with Lucky or she will tell him everything about her. Sam admits that what she did to the boys was unforgivable. She tries to convince Liz that they are all free now and the past is behind them. Liz tells Sam to leave and Sam argues that some if this situation isn't her fault. Then she says that she is falling in love with Lucky.
In Martha's Vineyard, Marianne is serving Rick coffee and asking why he looks so haunted by his past. He names his brother, his father, and even himself as being the culprits and Marianne challenges him to change. Ric says that he has that chance right now as a matter of fact, but he's scared if he lets go of all of his anger and revenge he might find nothing left of himself. She sits with him as he gives her a nutshell version of the pier situation. He says that the waterfront property could be his salvation or his destruction. He asks what she would do and she says, "Whatever you're looking for isn't in the (ownership) papers, it's in your heart." He tells her that she's very wise and she says that she talks too much. As he pays his tab, someone is watching through the window.
Kate has just shown up in Sonny's office. He tells her that he's finally over her and she says that she'd like to explain. He says that he gave her his heart and she threw it to the curb. She explains that he took her by surprise, that's all. Sonny says that Kate Howard has Connie locked too deep inside and he almost got buried with her. He tells her that she did him a favor and she needs to do him one more. "Go out that door. I never want to see you again," he tells her. She starts to leave, but says she's going to have her say first. She tries to cut through his ranting to say that she never wanted to say goodbye to him, not all those years ago and not the other night. She says that it just hit her that he doesn't love her, he loves Connie. She tells him that she can love him for the man he has become, but he can't do the same for her. Sonny tells her that Connie is lonely as hell in her Manhattan suit of armor and that Kate Howard doesn't want to be a Mrs. to anybody. He tells her that he wanted to lie on a couch, make snowballs and wake up together and Kate says that she wants those things too. He says that Connie might want that, but Kate Howard doesn't! She tells him that she loves him and asks what they can do? He says that they can't let history repeat itself for a third time. She can see that he's serious, so she turns and leaves.
The teens in the alley are taunting Michael for going to them for a gun instead of his father. Finally, they hand over the gun and ask who he's going to "waste". As Michael walks away, they remind him that he needs bullets and to call them when he has the money. As they walk away, Michael takes aim at them and promises that he will.
At the hospital, Monica takes a swig of her flask and then is confronted by Tracy and a legal beagle. He serves her with a court order and Tracy clarifies that she is being sued for malpractice. As Monica starts to justify her position for freezing during Luke's surgery, Alan shows up behind Tracy and tries to talk her out of it. Monica contends that Tracy is just mad at Luke for taking off. She slaps Tracy and then gets in the elevator to leave. Tracy follows her and their cat fight continues as the door closes.
At the Zacchara house, Trevor tells his goon that when he spoke with "her" on the phone, she acted as if she doesn't care that little Johnny is in trouble. But if she buys it, Trevor says, she'll come and then he can move forward with his plan. Johnny comes in and asks what that plan might be? He grabs Trevor by the suit jacket and says that he almost cost Lulu her life! Trevor says that he destroyed their ship and an alliance!
Mac has arrived at Kelly's. He sits with Maxie as she tells him about her plans to go to Canada with Coop. Mac asks everyone if they saw Coop after Maxie left him this morning. Logan says that he did. He explains that he wanted to borrow some money earlier and then he offered Coop some coffee, but Coop didn't want it. Mac asks Maxie if Coop expressed any feelings of remorse and Maxie asserts that he didn't kill himself! Detective Harper comes downstairs and produces the stolen DNA report from Coop's room. Mac looks at it and surmises that Coop was the Text Message Killer. "That's a lie!" Maxie yells. Mac says that Coop felt he had nowhere to go. As they bring out his body, she wants to ride in the ambulance with him, but Mac won't let her.
Liz starts to bleed from her wound just as Lucky returns home. Sam explains that she should lie down, but Liz says that she's fine. She wants to leave with Jake, but Lucky reminds her that her house won't be repaired from the fire damage for a couple days.
Jason leaves Kelly's and finds Spinelli. He tells him about Coop and then says that he got a call from Coop just before he died. "What could a guy who wants to kill himself want to tell me?" he poses.
Johnny has plopped down on the sofa and Trevor is on the phone. After he hangs up, he tells Johnny that the APB has just been dropped and now he just has to keep himself out of trouble because he has a few new tricks up his sleeve. (As he speaks, we see a woman's hand packing her luggage and grabbing a plane ticket.)
Next on General Hospital:
Liz tells Sam not to go near her children after what she did. (Lucky overhears.)
Kelly asks Robin if she told the father of her baby that she's pregnant. (Patrick overhears.)
Maxie asks Spinelli for help.

I'm wondering WHY no one else at the hospital has smelled 'booze' on her breath?? As much as she's drinking.....you know it has to be obvious to co-workers!
