Sonny is disillusioned by Kate, Nik faces a life without Emily, and Robin makes a decision.
Robin thinks Kelly is joking about her being pregnant. Kelly tells her that she's four weeks along, which means the baby was conceived right about Christmas time. Robin sits down and Kelly asks why she's not thrilled. Robin says that she wanted to be pregnant, but in her way - in a controlled way. Kelly says that this could've happened in one of three ways. Either she already went to a sperm bank, had unprotected sex, or used a defective condom. Robin says that she would never have unprotected sex! That's when she realizes that her pregnancy is the result of a ripped condom. Kelly says that Robin has to tell the father that he was put at risk for HIV, even though her viral load is undetectable at this point.
Down the hall, Patrick is giving Nik and update about the location of his tumor. He explains that Nik could be seeing unexplained things because of the placement of the tumor against the brain. Nik asks him to close the door and then asks how specific the hallucinations can be? "The psycho emotional component intensifies the illusions," Patrick says. Then he comes right out and asks Nikolas if he is experiencing anything? Robin comes in, apologizes for being late, and suggests some meds. Nik asks if he "starts" to see things, will they permanent? Patrick says the good news is that they can shrink the tumor and then remove it so that the hallucinations will stop. Upon hearing that, Nik asks what if he does nothing at all? Robin tells him that he could die. Nik asks for some time alone.
Elizabeth has been transferred to a room and she doesn't understand why. Dr. Leo comes in and says that Jake is ready to go home, but she's not. He says that she crawled through broken glass and has to be careful not to open her stitches. Then he tells her that Jake's father can pick up his son and care for him for a few days. Soon, Lucky shows up with Jake and Liz says that she has a favor to ask. She says that Gram has offered to take the boys, but…before she can finish, Lucky speaks up. "It's okay they're my sons," Lucky says he'll take a few days off and take care of them.
After Lucky leaves, Jason is ready to slip into Liz's room to see her. But Max intercepts him first. He says that one of Zacchara's boats is using their shipping lane and Sonny will freak when he hears about it. Jason tells him to "take it out" and they both leave the hospital.
On the waterfront, "Moreau" gets a call from his goon at the monastery and learns that Lulu knocked a hole through the wall and escaped. He assures Jerry that he has taken her and her boyfriend to the ship. Meanwhile, Lulu and Logan are handcuffed to chairs and Logan tells her when they get out of there, he's having Johnny arrested. Lulu says that she'll never speak to him again if he does that. "Just how friendly did you two get in that tunnel?" Logan asks.
In Benson Hurst, Sonny is down on his knee proposing to Kate. She thinks he is just caught up in the memories and is being impulsive. Sonny pulls out the ring and says that she ran away a long time ago, but that was for a reason. They needed time to figure out what was really important. She echoes the sentiment that they share the same heart, and he poses the question again. "This is my second time on this corner offering you my heart and soul." He goes on to say that he's not going to beg her. Kate can't hold back her tears anymore and runs off. After she's gone, Sonny reaches into his pocket and gets Madame's fortune out. It reads, "You will stand alone."
Emily sees that Patrick and Robin have left Nik's room, so she goes in and learns that she's just a by-product of his tumor. Nik tells her that she's much more than that and that she's here because of his love for her. He also says that he has to make a choice and explains that he'll die if they don't take the tumor out, but if they do, he'll lose her. He says it's a no-brainer and that he cannot let her go. Emily says that she has to let him go because he has to live. He won't hear of it, but she tells him to close his eyes. He does and then says that she won't be able to stay away from him. When he opens his eyes, she's gone.
Spinelli finds Jason on the waterfront and says that Lulu is on board the Zacchara ship. Jason promptly cancels the order to blow it up. Then he decides that they need to take a boat out and get Lulu out of there. Meanwhile, Johnny is on the ship setting it up to explode. He gets a call from "Moreau", who wants to discuss the incoming shipment, but Johnny tells him that it will be at the bottom of the river.
Back in Benson Hurst, Kate returns to the street corner but all she finds is the empty ring box. Sonny has returned to the movie theater and is recalling another conversation from their past in which Kate asks him to take her hand and never let go. He snaps out of it and calls Bernie with a job. "I don't care how many people you have to get out of bed…cash offer, nobody refuses!" Sonny says in a voice racked with emotion. He goes back to the restaurant and Moose rushes out to ask what's going on? He says that someone just bought the place! Sonny gives him an envelope of money and tells him to move his family to Miami and open a restaurant there. Moose asks who the lady was he was with earlier because he thought he knew her. Sonny says he thought he knew her too, but apparently he didn't at all. After Moose leaves, Sonny proceeds to rip the place up.
At GH, Leo and Patrick are in the locker room (and don't know that Robin is, too.) Patrick tells Leo about his recent tryst with Leyla and how confusing it was to him. Leo says that if he's not getting back with Robin what's the problem? He adds that it's a good thing he ran HIV tests after the broken condom incident a few weeks ago. Patrick says that now that he knows he wasn't infected, he and Robin don't have to have an awkward conversation. He says that Robin will go to a sperm bank, get pregnant and that will be the nail in their coffin. Robin promptly finds Kelly and says that the guy she was with was tested and isn't HIV positive. Then she asks Kelly to keep her pregnancy a secret.
On the ship, Logan was able to untie his hands and is trying to free Lulu when the guard comes in and busts him. Logan knocks him out, but another guy comes in and almost shoots Lulu. Jason gets to him first, however, and takes him out while Johnny rushes in and unties Lulu. Jason takes Logan and Lulu and asks Johnny if he's clear on this task. Lulu tries to get Johnny to come with them, but he says there isn't time and he has something to do. Once they are safely on the pier, Lulu asks what about Johnny, but Jason says he can take care of himself. Then there's a big explosion.
