General Hospital - DAILY UPDATES

Patrick finds Leyla and starts to talk about a patient, but she rips into him for being such a player. (Robin is looking on from down the hall.) After Leyla storms off, Robin tells him that he is "dumb as a box of rocks" for not understanding how hard Leyla fell for him.

Nikolas arrives for the board meeting and Nadine greets him excitedly. It turns out that she just scored tickets for a hockey game. Nikolas is polite, but he really doesn't want to converse. He walks over to the lounge and Emily arrives. Nik worries that his brain disorder will be passed on to Spencer and she tries to calm him down. Then Leyla informs him that the board meeting has been postponed because no one has shown up yet. He goes into a rage and pushes Robin to the ground. Patrick rushes over to her and Nikolas snaps out of it. He apologizes to all of them.

Kate and Sonny are curled up on the sofa in her NYC suite. She talks about the sounds of the city and how she has memorized everyone of them. She tells him that "he" has become her home, however. Then she says that he needs to go back to Port Charles because there is a restraining order against him. As they talk about the possibilities of things that can happen behind closed doors, Julius arrives to take her to a big party. Diane tells him that she won't be coming even though the party is to announce her return to Couture. "Make it worth her while, Dimples," Julius says as he goes to the party solo. Sonny tells her that he has big plans for tonight.

In the ER, Elizabeth has just realized that she has literally come from a fire to a frying pan (by virtue of a hospital being held hostage by a bomber)! Joe tells her that her baby doesn't deserve any more care than his unborn one does. Leo urges Joe to let them help both patients and Epiphany asks Liz to hand Jake over to her. Sam is able to convince Joe to let Jake get treatment and Elizabeth thanks her. That's when Liz notices that she suffered a cut during the fire and is taken for treatment.

Jason explodes off the hospital elevator and Joe orders him to slow down! Sam tells Jason that Liz and Jake are here. Jason sees the bomb, raises his hands and says that he's just here to see a patient. Joe forces him to hand over his gun, and then asks if he's a cop. Monica sets him straight, "He's a hit man for the city's most notorious gangster." She goes on to say that her daughter is dead because of the company he keeps and what's worse, Jason is her son!

Scott gets a phone call from Mayor Floyd, who informs him of what's going on at the hospital. He promises that Scott will enjoy career perks if he is the one to handle the bomber. Scott calls Lucky in and says that Mac isn't being called in just yet, but there's a potential problem at the hospital. Scott tells him to "take the guy out." He adds that Jason Morgan is in the hospital and that could come in handy.

Meanwhile, Diane and Alexis have finally arrived back in Port Charles. They are at Alexis's house commiserating about their adventure. They can't believe that they didn't even make it to the ceremony and then scoff at the Beverly Hills lawyer who wore a cheap knock-off to accept the "Litigator of the Year Award." They debate about what to do with the coats that they stayed warm with during their night at the biker bar and then laugh about the bus ride home. Ric shows up and says that their bonding unnerves him for some reason. Alexis says that they'll still go head-to-head in the courtroom and quips "Where's the fun without the friction?" On her way out, Diane initiates a quick game of "Rock/Paper/Scissors" to determine who has to call whom next.

After Diane leaves, Ric says that he needs to leave town for a while and wants to say goodbye to Molly. She asks what he's done to Sonny and he chuckles. He explains that he lost Skye and needs to think about the obsession for Sonny that could destroy him completely. Then he tells Alexis about Skye's gift to him and how it could change his life or be a torpedo into Hell. He says that Trevor, Luke and Jerry all are vying for the property if that tells her anything. He has put in for a leave at work and suggested that she fill in as DA while he's gone.

Back in New York, Sonny asks Kate how she feels about him but before she can respond there's a knock at the door. Sonny ducks behind it and Kate warmly greets the police officer who she bribed to let Sonny go. He says that if Mr. Corinthos is there he will spend time in jail. Then he notices a romantic room service tray and decides to search the room. Just then it's Julius to the rescue! He shows up and quickly acts as if he has plans with Kate for the evening. He tells the cop that their friend, the Mayor, will put him on garbage detail if he doesn't leave. "Tootles cookie," Julius says as the cop leaves. Julius says that he forgot his scarf and that if Sonny ever hurts Kate, he'll never forgive himself. Once they finally make their way back to the sofa, Sonny and Kate discuss how their lives can possibly fit together. He says that since their two worlds keep colliding, he wants to show her a third one.

The drama at the ER continues to unfold, although the rest of the hospital isn't aware of it yet. Patrick and Robin discuss their next course of action in treating Nikolas. Patrick says he's going to try to bring on one of Nik's rages. In an exam room, Nadine is drawing blood from Nikolas. She asks if Princes have time for hockey games. He gives a half smile and says that this Prince is too busy living on a foggy island and being mean to nice people.

Down in the ER, Dr. Ford calls for a hospital lock down. Joe sits with Jason and says that he wanted the baby to be a girl. As they talk about their respective hopes and dreams, Joe's thumb is on the detonator. Over at the nurses' desk, Edward, Monica, Dr. Ford and Sam discuss how to proceed. Joe notices it and jumps up. He grabs Monica and tells Jason that it's time to see how Jason feels about his mother.

In the exam room, Angela tells Kelly that she wanted Joe to have a son while Kelly detects a respiratory problem. Behind the next curtain Liz wants to go see Jake, but Leo tells her that she has lost a lot of blood. Epiphany tells her that Jason is here so she can calm down.

In the lobby, Joe orders everyone to sit down. Meanwhile, Lucky and a cop are in the stairwell. He peeks into the ER and sees Joe holding Monica. He says he thinks he can hit the bomber and gets the order to take him out.

Robin doesn't like the sound of Patrick's plan to provoke Nikolas.

Emily asks Nikolas if she should go away.

Lucky tells Scott that Jason is in his way.

"Accidents happen. Take the shot Spencer," Scott orders Lucky via phone.
