Lulu gets a surprise birthday and visits Laura. Lucky ends up in a compromising position with Maxi. Georgie and Dillon try to work things out. Jason embraces Sam.
Lulu, surprised at the celebration, smiles nervously as she glances around the room at the people who are there. Bobbi comes and embraces her. Lucky comes to get pictures of her and in walks Nikolas with baby. He tells them how he's decided to change the baby's name to Spencer. They thank him for that honor. Lulu, glowing, embraces the baby.
Later after the party, Lulu goes to visit her mom in the hospital. After a brief talk with the nurse about Laura's condition, Lulu enters the room. She tells her mom updates about their lives, dad's life and all. Lulu then tells her mom everything. How she tricked Dillon into sleeping with her but they used protection. The only thing is that she still got pregnant. She tells Laura she's so scared and doesn't know what to do.
Dillon shows up unexpectedly and Lulu tells him not to leave because it'll look suspicious. Georgie shows up and after the party, she helps Dillon clean up and they take a walk outside to discuss their future. He apologizes to her for the mistakes he's made with Lulu and all. Dillon tells Georgie how he wants her to love him again. Georgie replies by telling him she never stopped loving him.
Maxi enters and approaches Lucky who's sitting alone. Lucky walks away from her and goes to drink from his flask. Later, he comes back to apologize to her and they sit to talk. Georgie shows up and drags Maxi away from Lucky asking her what she thinks she's doing flirting with him. Maxi tells her not to worry, Elizabeth is too busy spending time with Patrick across the room. Later, ending up outside, Lucky and Maxi start to kiss. She pulls him by the hand telling him she has the keys to the back rooms upstairs and to follow her. Carly spots them and decides to see what's up. After opening the room door slightly, she sees the both of them on the bed all over each other.
Entering the restaurant, Carly avoids looking into Elizabeth's eyes. She casually asks Carly if she's seen Lucky out there. Carly trying hard to deny it tells her that she has something to tell her. Elizabeth glares at Carly and tells her she's full of crap for making up stuff like that, ...Lucky would never cheat on me... she yells as she runs up the stairs to see what's really going on.
As Carly and Alexis continues to go at each other, Ric walks in. But he doesn't say a word in defense of Alexis, he just stands there. Sam finally tells Carly she should leave and quit trying to fight for her and Jason. After Carly leaves, Sam tells them she's headed out to celebrate her first paycheck but doesn't want company.
Alexis then turns to Ric and glares at him accusing him of being some kind of man not standing up and defending her to the witch Carly. Ric, knowing it's a losing battle to argue just stands there to listen to Alexis never ending list of his incompetencies.
Sam walks into the restaurant and sees Jason having dinner. Jason spots her as well and gets up and goes out onto the balcony. He turns around to see Sam standing there. Sam tells him she wasn't following him, she just came to celebrate her first paycheck. Jason yells at her to run to him. She does and throws herself into his arms. He holds her for the longest time and then puts her down to talk. He tells her how her life would have ended if he had held her the same way that night but three inches lower. The bullet would have entered her heart. Jason goes on to tell her if he continues to love her, she might be killed. That he can't take that chance. He can't love her anymore he says as he walks away leaving Sam in tears.
