Hell Hath No Fury. Tuesday, January 08 2008

Carly bares her fangs in Liz's general direction, Skye breaks it off with Ric before it even begins and the Alexis/Diane show keeps getting funnier.

Alexis and Diane find themselves driving away from the airport together in a rental car. To make matters worse, they blow a tire and Alexis's cell battery is dead. Diane says that they'll just change the tire, that's all. They both act as if they've changed tires before, but have a hard time even popping the trunk. After they finally figure out how to change the tire, Alexis takes the wheel and points the car towards Philadelphia for the awards ceremony. That's when they realize that the gas gauge is on empty. They pull over in the middle of nowhere, but spot a light in the distance. Neither wants to leave without her designer gown, so off they go through the wilderness with two big garment bags.

Skye has pulled back from Ric and is preparing to leave. She calls him on his never-ending desire to stick it to Sonny and he says that he has far stronger feelings for her than his desire to rule the waterfront. He says that he'd love to be half of a very powerful couple with her, but she says that she would always wonder if that was all he ever wanted from her. They argue over which of them is more unfeeling and then Ric says that he knows that she let Alcazar be killed. Skye points out how easy it was for him to throw that in her face and reminds him how bad they would be for each other. Ric does his best to convince her that they could be happy together, but Skye says they will repeat their mistakes over and over again. She says that she will have to be the one to end their vicious cycle. On her way out the door, she finds Trevor on Ric's porch.

Sonny is in a foul mood and he's taking it out on Max. He's angry because he was shot at and Kate was so scared that she ran back to Manhattan. He says that he doesn't get why Jason is so slow to go after Zacchara Jr. He reminds Max that two of his men are dead and his shipment was taken and Jason wants them to wait to retaliate? "We've got to find a way to hit back," Sonny says.

Trevor calls Johnny to tell him that Moreau cannot be put off. Johnny says that Moreau can wait because right now he's going to visit his father. When he gets to the hospital, Anthony tells him that he was able to move his foot today, just ask his mother. He tells Johnny that he'll get out of the bed and kick his a** if he doesn't believe him. Johnny shakes his head as his father rambles his nonsense, and then tells him that Trevor is handling things. Anthony tells him to be careful of that scum. Johnny tries to get him to explain, but all Anthony wants to do is show him how he can move his foot. When Johnny finally looks, the foot isn't moving at all. Anthony tells Johnny that when he gets out he has to decide what to do about Trevor, Corinthos…and him.

Carly can't believe the words coming out of Sam's twisted mouth. She thinks Sam is making it up because she's bitter that Jason dumped her. Sam seems to take pleasure in saying that the person Carly dislikes even more than her is the one who gave Jason a son. What's more, he didn't even trust his "best friend" enough to tell her! Sam finishes by taunting that Jason and Elizabeth share something that he and Carly never will. On that note, Carly throws her out.

Jason and Liz are together in the safe house. She has given him a photo of Jake's first Christmas and it makes him sad for everything that he's missing. But, he says that looking at Johnny Zacchara reminds him that he's doing the right thing by keeping his son out of the business. Then he asks Liz if their arrangement is too hard on her, but she says this is the happiest she's been in a long time. After they leave to face the real world, we see that they've dropped one of the photos.

Trevor tells Ric that a destructive threat is about to move into Port Charles. He wants his son to be the man who gets the credit for cleaning up the city. Ric scoffs because Trevor will want him to ignore the dirty, little corner that he sets up shop in. Trevor tells Ric to convince Skye to sell her waterfront property to him. He says that all women want money and power, and when Ric asks about love Trevor says it's a fairy tale.

When Liz gets home, she has her hands full with her boys. But then Carly shows up and things get even harder. She takes one look at Jake and says, "It's true." Liz tells her to leave, but Carly tells her to put her boys to bed or they'll "do this" in front of them. After Liz comes back downstairs, Carly tells her that she used a baby to get her hooks into her best friend. Liz explains what happened and Carly won't hear any of it. She promises to make sure that Jason sees her for who she really is. Liz spits back a few insults and Carly ends up smacking her in the face.

Jason checks in with Sonny and says that they can still avoid an all-out war with the Zaccharas. Then Sonny talks about how he's losing Kate because she can't be in his world. Jason says that Sonny needs to find a way to make it work because the people they love deserve more. Sonny understands that Jason is talking about missing Jake's first Christmas.

"You made a baby, any b**** in heat could do that," Carly spews after Liz says that she and Jason made a miracle. The women argue about how Liz got pregnant and lied to Lucky for months. Carly says that Jason would never give up his child and that Liz must've talked him into it. Finally, Liz asks Carly how she found out. Carly won't answer, but Liz says there is only one person who is more vile than her.

Lucky goes over to Sam's place and finds her feeling badly about herself. She says that she's not a good person. Lucky tells her that she is and Sam remains pretty adamant that she doesn't deserve what other people have. "Like love?" Lucky asks her. She calms down and asks him to hold her.

Alexis and Diane are out of breath and still in the middle of nowhere, but the light is getting closer. They fantasize about what kind of cozy, cottage they see in the distance. When they finally reach the building with the light, they realize that it's a dive bar.

Johnny assures his father that he has Trevor under control. Anthony rambles about his foot moving and Johnny sadly leaves. Once he's gone, Anthony chuckles and moves his foot for real this time.

Liz goes over to Sam's place and isn't all that surprised to see Lucky come out from the bedroom. He asks what's up and she tells him that his girlfriend told Carly that Jake is Jason's son.

Carly finds Jason at Sonny's desk. He barely looks up at her because he's busy, but then she asks him if he's Jake's father.

Next on General Hospital:

Carly asks Jason how he could have a baby and not tell her.

Diane and Alexis decide to try to fit in.

Skye offers Ric a proposition.

Lucky asks Sam to explain.
