Pushed to her limit, Sam tells Carly about Jake, Liz surprises Jason with a drawing of Jake and Diane and Alexis are grounded.
Carly is waiting for an appointment with Dr. Lee, but she's far more interested in watching what looks like sparks flying between Jason and Elizabeth at the nurses' desk. Jason whispers an apology for missing New Year's Eve and Liz tells him that she still has the champagne. They agree to meet at the safe house, and then Jason takes off. Then, Dr. Lee fetches Carly to discuss her fertility options. Carly toys with a little giraffe that she picked up in hopes that she'll be decorating a nursery soon and says that she's going to try to will herself pregnant!
At the PCPD, Johnny tells Mac that they have nothing on him, but Mac says that the forensic evidence says otherwise. It turns out that Georgie fought off her attacker and there was skin under her fingernails to point the finger (so to speak) at her killer. Johnny is taken for DNA testing and Mac goes back into the interrogation room to ask Maxie about her rampage at Kelly's. Maxie says that she won't talk as long as Felicia is in the room. Since it becomes clear that Felicia won't leave, Maxie does. As they watch Maxie leave, Felicia notices some muddy footprints on the floor of the office and asks Mac for the forensic footprint photos. The same "dice" pattern that is on the floor is in the photos!
The flight attendant aboard Alexis and Diane's flight congratulates them both on their nomination but says their dresses need to be stowed in the overhead compartment. Neither wants to part with what turns out to be a designer original from Kate for both! Alexis brags that every time she files a motion, Kate sends her a new pair of shoes. Diane yells for a cocktail. Diane asks Alexis if she can lean the other way because she's claustrophobic and Alexis is afraid of heights so she doesn't want to be closer to the window. They switch spots, each clinging to her garment bag. They continue to bicker until Kate puts on an eye mask and Alexis reaches for earphones.
Logan is at the PCPD waiting to see Scott. When he comes, Logan admits that he needs a favor from his dear, old dad. He wants a job, but can't see himself being a cop. Scott agrees to give it some thought.
Jax runs into Jerry at Kelly's. He wants to know why Jerry won't work with him on making the world a better place. Jerry says that he's not exactly a "save the world" type, but Jax wants him to reconsider. Jerry says that he has his own venture to work on, thank you very much.
Ric has his hands full at Alexis' house. Kristina says that her real daddy would take her to the movies, but Daddy Ric won't go because dark theaters scare Molly. Finally Ric calls Skye and asks for her help. She comes right over and is able to charm Kristina into taking a nap.
Excited for her date with Jason, Liz picks up the phone to call a sitter. Sam, who is at the hospital while Nikolas has tests, comes up behind her and offers to watch the kids for her. She reminds Liz that they are Lucky's kids, or so she wants the world to think. Liz says that Lucky can see his boys any time, except when he's with her. Sam says that if she's sneaking around with Jason she might as well forget it because he is married to his work. Liz tells Sam that she's delusional if she thinks that she and Lucky will end up happy together.
Carly has planned a romantic afternoon with Jax, but it's quickly interrupted when Sonny escorts in a delinquent Michael. It seems that he beat up a kid at school for calling Sonny a gangster. Jax and Carly quickly snap out of their mode and join Sonny in playing parent. Jax speaks up and makes the most sense with talk of setting a good example for Morgan. Sonny seems happy for the help and when Michael finally sees the error of his ways, they go back to Sonny's house. Carly and Jax try to resume their afternoon plans, but Jax gets a call to report to the Metro Court to deal with an issue.
Ric has asked Skye to stick around for a while. He makes hot chocolate and they talk about their various hopes and dreams. Skye remembers her alcoholic days and says that it feels good to start to feel something again (for him). He asks her to come outside with him so he can see the snow on her hair. She asks if they are "starting something here" and he hopes so. As she's bundling up, Ric tells her that they can be good for each other, but blows it when he adds that her waterfront property makes them a formidable pair.
Coop has gone to the hospital to check up on Maxie, who is doing her community service work. She's glad to see him, and as she kisses him, we see his footprints with a dice pattern. Over at the nurses' desk, Sam finds a little giraffe and finds out from Kelly that it's Carly's. She offers to take it over to her.
Jason shows up at the safe house before Liz does. He uncovers her canvas to find a charcoal drawing of Jake. When she arrives, she flies into his arms and he compliments her on the drawing. Liz says it's not done yet and asks if he will pose for her so she can draw him holding the baby.
Diane and Alexis' plane is still on the ground. The flight attendant is losing patience with their bickering and informs them that the plane is 200 pounds overweight and can't take off until the problem is dealt with. Alexis and Diane gang up on her with legal threats until finally the captain comes up and asks them how much they weigh. "Oh, I'd say about 200 pounds," says the flight attendant.
Lulu is kicking and fighting her abductor and demands to know who he is. She is pushed into a room and left alone. Outside the door, Jerry takes off his mask.
Carly is waiting for Jax to come home when Sam comes over with the little giraffe. She assumes that it was a gift for Jake and says that she had no idea that Carly knew about it. Carly asks what's going on and Sam suddenly realizes that she spoke too soon. She tries to leave, but Carly insults her until she's angry enough to strike back. She says that Carly doesn't know as much as she thinks she does about Jason, in fact, he's a dad!
