Lulu comes home to a bittersweet surprise.

Monday, September 18 2006
The Quartermaines are kind when Lulu returns from the clinic. Ric and Sonny square off over Kristina. Lucky begs Liz to remember their vows.

Liz warns Lucky not to touch her, as they struggle and she falls to the floor. Nicolas rushes in and says "Do you have any idea what you could have done?" to Lucky (alluding to the pregnancy).

Lulu calls for a taxi to pick her up at the pc women's clinic. But Georgie shows up and offers a ride.

Luke tells Laura goodbye in order to go protect Lulu from the claws of the Q's after she returns to the house. He promises to let Laura know how it turns out. He runs into Robin Scorpio outside of Laura's door – who tells him that she has come with a proposition.

Lucky tries to help Liz up, and Nicolas takes her away to the hospital. "Whether it was an accident or not, it happened because you are on drugs." You are ruining our lives. Glassy-eyed Lucky yells after her that he doesn't know if he can do this (kick drugs) without her.

Sonny tells Kristina that her mommy is sleeping while she gets her medicine. A deep sleep. She's not afraid or hurting. Kristina wishes her mommy could sleep in her own bed. Ric and Sam look on nervously. Sonny offers her the chance to come home and sleep at daddy's house, but she chooses to stay in her own bed with her sister Molly. Daddy Ric says he'll always be there for her too, after Sonny tells her that she can always count on "Me and Sam". Sonny tells Ric to leave even though it's his house. He tells his younger brother that he won't let him stay there with Sam and his daughter.

At the Q's door, Georgie offers to take Lulu home with her instead of making her face them. She walks into the room and pronounces that "It's over, I've had the abortion. Alright, let's start the screaming now." Dillon asks her if she's okay and Edward sadly says that no one is in the position to question her decision. Tracy says that they don't agree with her decision, but it was her choice to make. Edward proclaims that the matter is concluded and invites Tracy to join him in the living room for a brandy. Lulu is relieved at their (lack of) reaction and Dillon is concerned that she might be in pain. She says that she's numb. He offers to have Cook make her something and Georgie offers to call Lulu's family. "I wish you could call the one person who could tell me that everything is going to be ok." A sad LuLu continues that her mom can't help her now.

Robin tells Luke that there's a potential treatment for Laura. She explains that a genius that she knew in Paris has been working on a clinical study in memory restoration. She doesn't even know if Laura is a candidate, but asks Luke for permission. Luke said hope is dead and gone. Robin offers no guarantees, but announces that some patients in Europe have had some good preliminary results. It's worth a shot, she thinks. She gives Luke her card and asks him to think about it. "There isn't a day goes by that I don't think about it," says a wistful Luke. He also says, "If you want to do something for her Dr. Robin, please understand that I have to protect whatever dignity she has left."

Ric says he'll leave is own house only when it's time to go hold Alexis's hand and bring her back home with the girls. Sonny tells him that if only Alexis knew that Ric had gotten into Sam's pants, she might feel differently. They continue to argue and Sam returns from putting the girls to bed and says that Kristina needs to stay at home where she's safe. Sonny says that Sam can't protect the little girl from slimeball Ric – after all, she couldn't even protect herself.

A jittery Lucky fidgets around the apartment and then stalks out the door. At the hospital, her doctor tells Liz and Nicolas that the ultrasound shows that the baby is ok. The doctor and Nicolas warn Liz that she needs to tell Lucky that she's pregnant. Liz says he's not thinking clearly. Maxi walks in and overhears Liz tell Nicolas that she has to leave Lucky.

Luke and Tracy share a brandy and Tracy tells him that Lulu is upstairs resting. He confides that he keeps having dreams about Laura staring at the wall, eyes blank, and then she screams "Luke, I'm in here, help me."

Sam tells Ric it would be better if he goes to the hospital right now. Ric tells Sam that she can't rewrite history, that she wasn't raped and was a willing participant the night that they had sex. Sam glares at him, but can't deny it. Ric reminds Sonny that he, too, has a history with Sam that isn't exactly perfect, to which sonny tells him to go sit with his wife at the hospital or else he will disappear for good. Ric tells Sonny the fact that he threatened his life proves that he's too dangerous to raise Kristina. Alexis is right about her wishes. Ric acquiesces and leaves for the hospital, but NOT because Sonny told him to, rather because his wife needs him. Sam tells Sonny that she thinks he just made a big mistake.

Tracy tells Luke how nice Edward was when Lulu returned from the clinic -- how nice they all were, in fact. Tracy hopes that Lulu doesn't wake up one day and regret her decision. Tracy admits that she's relieved for Dillon, that now he can become a father one day when he's more emotionally prepared. Luke thanks Tracy for being so "stand up" during Lulu's ordeal. She looks deep into his eyes, touches his face and says, "I am your wife."

Elizabeth goes to her Gram's house and cries. Audrey questions her about what's gone wrong with Lucky? Liz explains about her husband's addiction to the pain killers from his back injury. Audrey tells Liz that she and Cameron can stay as long as they need to. But who's knocking at the door? Lucky, proclaiming that he needs to talk to his wife. Audrey opens the door, scolds him mildly, and tells him to come back tomorrow before she closes the door. Liz cries while Lucky yells through the door.

Luke knocks on LuLu's door and she invites him in. She says she's tired, but better. They discussed the Quartermaine's temporary lack of (their normal evil) character and that it won't last. She thanks him for saying all the right things during her ordeal and for trusting her enough to make her own decision.

Lucky is pleading at Audrey's door. He reminds Liz of their wedding vows and that she has to live up to her promise to always listen to him. He swears that tomorrow is a new day, a fresh start. They're both crying on their respective sides of the door. She tells him that the marriage is over. She doesn't want him near her and her child (children). He slides down the door to the ground and cries.

At the hospital, Ric asks Monica to give him the status on Alexis. Monica says the medicine has to run its course and she has no idea what the outcome will be. Alcazar gets off the elevator and asks Rick want is so important that couldn't wait. Ric tells him that it's time to move against Sonny. Alcazar questions, "Are you ready to kill your own brother?"

Lucky slinks into his apartment and finds Maxi waiting for him, dangling a bag of pills. This is great, she says, we don't have to worry about being caught now. She won't give him the pills until he tells her that he cares for her. Back at Audrey's, Liz is leaving a message for her lawyer, asking if they can work of some kind of payment plan so they can go ahead and dissolve the marriage.

At the hospital, Alcazar says this is the perfect time to kill Jason while he's in South America because it would leave Sonny unprotected.

Lulu asked Luke if he told Laura about the abortion. She said that she almost hoped that Laura had givin Luke some kind of reaction, but then realized that there could never be one. Luke told Lulu that there's always a chance that Laura can snap out of it and tell Lulu that she's not a horrible person for having the abortion. He explains that Laura's love for Lulu never ends, no matter where her mind is. Lulu cried that it would be easier if her mother were dead. Luke is devastated to hear that, and turns to walk out the door. Outside Lulu's door, he reaches for Robin Scorpio's card and dials the phone. He tells Robin that he wants to talk about the treatment for Laura.

NEXT ON GH:

Georgie comforts Dillon after the abortion. Carly tells Jax it's time to "think about us". Robin tells Luke that the new treatment could bring Laura back; Patrick tells him it could kill her.

I like it. And let's get some Monica/Allan action while we're at it. It was great seeing her on the show today. Bring on some storylines of the "classic" GHer's!

Noooooo way iz Ric goin 2 kill one of my favorite people on Gh. The writers better deal wit Ric and Alcazer cuz ya'll can't kill neither Sonnyz sexy bad boy flavor nor Jasons sexy ocean blue eyes. Besides Carly and luke krazy adventures Jason, sonny r all I have left 2 enjoy. Now about lucky datz GOOD 4 him datz all I can say bout him but my heart goes out 2 Liz she tried so hard even after Lucky slept wit Maxt tha SLUT. Who by the way needs 2 get a reality check fast. All I can say don't kill of my boos Jason nor Sonny.

Liz is NOT a great actress, she should NOT be with Jason/ Actually, she should try to recreate RIC. Sam and Sonny are better suited that Liz and Jason. Jason Sam Sonny are the best. Maxi should be pregnant so Lucky can go deeper into his drug dillusion.. i dont like Liz, never have, never will. she is tooo dumb to be with the smart bad boys.

Did not approve of the abortion. Q's had plenty of money
to raise the baby. It still was their flesh and blood.
Poor decision for young generations of fans to watch.
So many teens today have more then one abortion. I still
hope LuLu didn't do it as in the clinic today there was no
one telling her pro and cons and showing her pictures or
listening to the ultra sound before she made this decision.
Don't think her mother Laura would have like this decision.
I know it is only a soap but I do not support this decision.
