Liz and the Ice Pick. Monday, November 05 2007

Sharp objects are everywhere as Liz roams the halls alone, Lucky disappears, and Nadine poses as Lulu!

"8 hours earlier."

Liz's voice says, "When we're alone in the dark, we never know who might be coming for you. Or why."

As Liz opens a closet door in the darkened mansion and a body falls out to the floor with a weapon sticking out from his back.

Out on the water, Jason is cruising through the bay in the rain when he sees a bomb is on board with him.

Back on Spoon Island, Kate is in the house looking out over the water and Sonny turns her to face him. He asks how he can protect her now that they are involved. She tells him that she is more emotionally involved in him than ever, and she doesn't want to be shut out from his life. Sonny tells her that his life can be a pretty rough ride. He says that he knows what Trevor is capable of because he's done the exact same things. Kate tells him that it's not as complicated as he thinks it is. He makes her happy and it's that simple. Sonny smiles and kisses her. He pulls her away from the window, but we see that there's been an explosion on the water.

Logan is holding Johnny by the shirt asking what kind of whack job he is. Johnny tells him that it's his father that they all need to be worried about. Johnny punches Logan in the stomach and takes off to find Anthony.

Lulu returns to the ballroom and Spinelli is glad to see her. He gushes over her as Nadine looks on. Luke announces to everyone that there is strength in numbers and that they all need to stay together. Sam is meandering through the ballroom wringing her hands when she locks eyes with someone she doesn't recognize. (It's Anthony Zacchara.) She keeps walking anyway, and then it's Lulu who is standing before him. He snaps to attention when he realizes that his target is finally within his reach. But not for long because Lulu walks over to speak with her father. She asks Luke what he knows about AZ and Luke says that he's extremely dangerous. Lulu asks if he would recognize him. Before he can answer, Jax and Carly knock on the ballroom door and Scott unlocks the door to let them in.

"Shoot any innocent people since I last saw you?" Maxi asks Carly. Carly doesn't answer, but Georgie asks what Maxi is talking about. Across the room, Sam goes to Emily to apologize for the fight with Elizabeth. Em doesn't want to hear it, but Sam wants to know if she knows the guy in the corner. Em looks in the direction that Sam is pointing, but no one is there.

Out on the parapet, Robin is fine after her fainting spell. Patrick asks her what is going on and she assures him that she's not pregnant. She says that she saw Ric's blood on her mask and felt like something was about to happen to her. He discards her premonition so they can talk about their relationship and how mangled they have become. He tells her that she should have her child and be happy, and he'll be a child with whoever gets him. Sadly he walks back inside to care for Ric.

Somewhere in the maze that is Wyndemere, Liz attempts to leave the room with the corpse, but she hears someone in the hallway. She goes over to the body and tugs the weapon out of his back. It's an ice pick! Now armed, she slips out the door and down the hallway. Behind the door…is Coop!

Leyla and Skye are among the crowd that is tending to Ric. Alexis is putting pressure on the wound and encouraging him to drink brandy. She tells him that Molly is at home and she's safe. Ric says that he doesn't want her to be afraid. Trevor rushes in and Patrick tells him that if they don't move Ric soon, he'll be too weak, and the launch isn't working! Trevor tries to rush out of the room, but Alexis asks if he's leaving his son? Trevor explains that nothing else can be done for Ric, but there's a monster loose and he has to get to Kate. Alexis smacks him hard across the face and calls him a selfish bastard. She tells him that he has failed his son in every possible way and doesn't have the decency to sit by him for five minutes. She is chilling as she says, "Ric is worth a thousand of you." Trevor quietly takes it all in and then leaves. Ric quietly says, "I thought you didn't like me."

Lucky and Nik are wandering the halls looking for Liz. Lucky says that they also need to find Coop and figure out who stabbed Ric. Nik is saying how much he wants to move Emily to a real house in town, and Lucky admits that he knows about the blackouts. Nik goes nuts about everyone knowing his business and whacks Lucky when his back is turned. Later, a cufflink with "LS" lays on a Persian rug and Nikolas notices it during a lightening strike. He quickly puts it in his pocket and leaves the empty room.

In the ballroom, Alfred approaches Emily and asks if he can help her in some way. She cries as she recalls the first Bacchanalia and how heart-stoppingly gorgeous Nikolas was. Alfred offers her kind words about the strength of her love and its healing power. Across the room, Lulu is telling Carly that Johnny's crazy dad is among them. Also, Sam and Jax decide to head out to the launch to see if they can repair it somehow - or at least the boat's radio. Jax rushes over to pluck Carly from Lulu and says that he wants her with him as they go to the launch. The women aren't happy to work together but Jax tells them to cool it. He opens the ballroom door just as a very soggy Jerry comes in and says, "We've got a problem." He comes inside and says that the fuel line to the launch was been cut. They grab him and head out there together.

Logan comes into the ballroom and says that Johnny is the person who probably stabbed Ric. Lulu says that it wasn't Johnny, it was his father. She turns to Luke and says that AZ is here. Luke says that the pieces of the puzzle are coming together. He pulls Logan off to tell him everything he knows and Scott tags along. Nadine sits next to Lulu and the two women look amazingly similar. Lulu notices, and asks Nadine if she can put her mask up to her face and pose as her, so she can slip away for a few minutes. Nadine agrees.

Johnny finds Liz in the hallway. She raises her ice pick and he assures her that he won't hurt her. He tells her not to wander the halls alone. She says that for all she knows, he killed that man in the closet. Johnny says that he didn't, but she needs to join the others in the ballroom right away. Then he leaves her on her own.

Scott and Luke go to Spinelli and ask what he knows about the mob war with Zacchara. Spinelli says that he can't betray Stone Cold and Luke says, "Not even for Lulu? Spinelli rambles some more and Scott tells him to speak the language. Georgie defends Spinelli's choice of vocabulary and Logan shuts her up by interrogating Spinelli again. After he is dismissed, Spinelli notices that Nadine is pretending to be Lulu and she tells him to play along. Logan notices it and takes off.

In the triage area, Ric tells Skye that he's a lousy date and then nods to Alexis that he's a worse husband. She assures him that he's a good father. He asks if his father has come around and Sky (lies) says that he's off helping to get the launch ready. Leyla sits with Ric and Alexis walks over to Skye. She says that she can tell Ric is interested in her and asks if the feeling is mutual. Skye bristles and reminds Alexis by saying that they aren't friends and they certainly aren't confidants. Alexis clarifies that she simply thinks Ric could use a little light in his life. Skye softens as Alexis walks away.

Sam, Carly, Jax and Jerry reach the launch and Sam says that the radio has been deliberately broken. She jumps down Jerry's throat and accuses him of doing it for God knows what reason. Jerry fights back and Jax breaks it up. Carly says that she needs to get back to the house because she knows who is doing this. It's AZ. Jax yells that AZ made threats against Sonny's family not Ric Lansing. He urges her to stop coming up with crazy scenarios and help them get home safely to their boys. He tells her to take some tubing out to the engine to Jerry while he and Sam work on the radio.

Lulu is running through the halls when Johnny finds her. She explains that if AZ is after her then they should just let him find her! He says that he shared his painful childhood story with her only to keep her safe! Logan finds them and asks why she keeps running off with this guy!

Nikolas pounds on the ballroom door and Emily lets him in. She asks where Liz is, or Lucky? Nik's eyes just go blank.

Leyla goes out to the parapet to find "Dr. Drake" and Robin tells her to call him Patrick, then apologizes to her about the pearl necklace. Leyla kindly tells Robin that it wasn't her doing.

Liz is racing around corners trying to find her way back to the ballroom when she sees something that makes her stop and cry. Then she is grabbed from behind. When she turns around, she is relieved to see Jason.

Sam and Jax are getting close to repairing the launch radio. Jerry returns into the launch cabin drenched and says that he has repaired the fuel line, but he could've used more tubing. Jax says that Carly was supposed to bring it out!

On her way back to the mansion, Carly trips over Coop's body.

Sonny and Kate are nude and wrapped up on a blanket when Trevor comes into their room. "Surprised to see me Trevor?" Sonny asks.

Nadine is nabbed by AZ. She wrestles away from him and asks what his problem is. AZ looks at her and says that she's not who he wanted. She says that she's hearing that a lot tonight. AZ asks her if she gardens and teases her with a piece of wire that he's been carrying around.

NEXT ON GH:

Jason makes sure that Liz is safe.

Carly is knocked out in the lawn.

Sonny tells Trevor that his sloppy hit failed and now they're going to do it his way.
