Trevor taunts Kate, warns Jason that Johnny Zacchara is nuts and belittles his son every chance he gets.

Trevor pays Amelia a visit on the set of "Everyday Heroes". He introduces himself and says that a mutual friend of theirs, Brandon the network exec, suggested that she help him to control the spin on a story that's about to leak. He suggests that they cover Kate Howard's arrest for DUI and Amelia wants no part of such a gossipy story. Sam shows up and is surprised to see him there. She and Trevor reach out and hold each other's hand in a greeting. When Trevor explains that he's there so that they can get in bed together -- so to speak -- Sam supports the idea of a show about drunk driving using Kate's arrest as a tie-in. Amelia doesn't like it.

Sonny and Diane are strategizing Kate's DUI case when Jason and Spinelli bust into his office. Spinelli has dire warnings that Sonny doesn't understand, so he turns to Jason for translation. Jason explains that they have footage of an upset getting into Zacchara's son's car. Spinelli says that the guy is a lunatic and Sonny says, "Don't worry Spinelli, he's about as sane as you are." Then he tells Jason to do what he's gotta do to keep Lulu safe.

Ric pays Kate a visit in her hospital room. He admits to a morbid curiosity about her position of being caught between his sadistic father and twisted brother, and says that the last woman in that position was his mother. Kate clarifies that she didn't even know that Sonny and Trevor knew each other, let alone share such a bad history. While she has him there, she says that her past hit and run was clearly negligent on her part, but she didn't drink and drive yesterday. She says that his father likely drugged her and begs Ric to stop him from destroying her. Sonny arrives and appeals to Ric to stop Trevor from hurting another innocent woman (like their mother). Ric says that he can always count on Sonny to treat him like a brother when he wants something from him. After he leaves, Sonny assures Kate that he'll get her out of this mess.

Lucky and Nikolas are at Kelly's making Maxi explain her malicious actions towards Lulu. Maxi says that they should be yelling at Logan or at least, Lulu - who is old enough to have an abortion or run off when she feels embarrassed. She storms away and leaves them facing Logan. They ask what Lulu was wearing, if she had been drinking, etc. Logan cooperates as best he can and Lucky takes off. Logan apologizes to Nik for hurting Lulu and says that he couldn't feel any worse than he already does. Nik attacks him and grabs him by the throat anyway. Georgie makes Nik let go and he apologizes for frightening her, then leaves.

Out along the road somewhere, a police officer has found Johnny Zacchara's abandoned car. He shouts out (to the trees?) that the car is parked illegally. As he looks inside, he sees a necklace on the passenger seat.

Trevor has left the TV set and Amelia has begrudgingly put into motion the plan to do the DUI show he suggested. Amelia tells Sam that it's obvious that she wants to take Ric's dad out for a test drive. Maxi arrives and Amelia jumps on her for a late dress delivery. Sam tells Amelia to beat it so that she and Maxi can talk.

Jason calls Trevor into Sonny's office and for some reason he obliges. Jason wants to know everything there is to know about Johnny Zacchara and when Trevor balks, he pulls a gun on him. Trevor says that in spite of Johnny's random belligerent acts, he's managed to keep him out of jail so far. He suggests that Jason not kill him because his father adores him. But, the kid is crazy, he says.

At the hospital, Emily asks Liz if there's any word on Lulu. Liz says no and she's really worried. Diane shows up at the nurses' desk and asks Epiphany -- in her legalese - to run interference with the press when the cops come to arrest Kate Howard.

Jason goes to the PCPD and gives the Johnny Zacchara's license plate information to Lucky, who wants to know how he knows all of this since leaving his house this morning. After Jason explains how he and Spinelli figured it out, Lucky tells him that if that's true, it was illegal. Jason asks if Lucky isn't interested in finding his sister and Lucky says that he thinks it's fishy that the guy they think has Lulu is the mobster Sonny is fighting with. He thinks they are using the cops to wage their war. As Jason leaves, he passes Sam who is on her way to see Lucky. She sympathizes with Lucky and says that she might be able to help.

Logan goes to the coffee shop and timidly asks Spinelli if he's heard from Lulu. Spinelli staunchly defends Lulu and Logan is sick and tired of everyone in his face. He pins Spinelli against the wall and says that Maxi is the one who set Lulu up, not him. Jason comes ip and pushes Logan out. "You'll have to kill me to keep me away from her," he says as he leaves. Spinelli calms himself down and tells Jason that he thinks he knows where Zacchara's car is, and they take off.

Ric returns to his office and finds his father in his chair. Ric tells Trevor that Kate Howard makes one mistake and he bails on her, how very like him. He goes on to say that Kate and Sonny swear that he drugged Kate's drink and now he believes them. He asks if Trevor wanted her humiliated. Trevor says that Ric should know what happens to people who disappoint him and he chuckles nefariously. Trevor asks why he even cares about Kate's arrest, she's nothing to him. In fact, he'd like to get some credit for dropping this high profile case in his lap to resuscitate his reputation as DA. Trevor says that if Kate walks from the charges, it'll only hurt Sonny. "Think very hard before you help your brother just to spite me," Trevor says.

Kate is dressed and ready to leave the hospital when Diane tells Sonny that he can't accompany them to the station because it'll look worse to the press. Diane tells Kate that she will get fingerprinted and have mug shots and Kate remembers it all too well. Sonny tells her that she's a fighter and she needs to come out swinging. Then, Mac arrives with a warrant for her arrest and reads her Miranda rights. Coop puts the cuffs on her and Mac tells Sonny that he should leave by a different door. Diane tells Mac that her client has been framed and asks if really needs to "perp walk" her through the media?

Outside her room, the press is firing questions to Emily and Epiphany about what Miss Howard had for breakfast this morning. Liz blocks their access to seeing Kate with a big gurney, and Mac, Diane, Coop and Kate slip off to the elevator. Later Georgie shows up for her volunteer job and asks Liz and Emily if they've heard from Lulu. She apologizes for Maxi's actions and Emily says that she's not responsible. They talk about the confrontation scene at Kelly's and Georgie says that Nikolas looked like he was going to kill Logan earlier. Emily looks concerned.

In the PCPD interrogation room, Kate, Diane and Sonny are working on her case. Diane says that she'll be laughed out of court for trying to sell a story about her being slipped a drug. She says that their best chance is a plea bargain and it all depends on Ric Lansing.

Logan finds Maxi outside of Kelly's and tells her that she will not get away with trashing the best thing that ever happened to her. As he pushes her and she mouths off, Coop shows up and pulls Logan off of her.

Sonny goes to Ric's office to say that Diane is going to ask for a plea bargain. He says that Ric can give her community service, but Ric interrupts and asks why he thinks he's going to do him a favor. Ric says that Trevor has already won.

Kate is alone in the interrogation room when Trevor shows up. He says that her blood alcohol level is a public fact and for him to intervene would be unethical. Kate says that she always knew he was a bastard. Trevor says that she used to make smart choices, but to pick punk Sonny Corinthos over him? "Ya deserve what you get," he smirks.

Back on the TV set, Amelia has handed Sam a script for the DUI segment and Sam says that it's weak. Amelia says, "Look who thinks she has her finger on the pulse." Lucky arrives and asks Sam how she thinks she can help. Sam says that tonight's show can be shelved and they can run an appeal to Lulu insead. Amelia says that they are NOT going to change the show for tonight and Sam insists that they are.

Jason and Spinelli arrive at Zacchara's abandoned car. Spinelli notices Lulu's necklace and that it's broken as if "torn from her innocent throat." They hear a scream in the distance and follow the sound. Lulu has found a barn and runs up to the loft. Zacchara chases her up the stairs but turns around to face Jason's gun. He draws his own gun and Lulu comes out from hiding and tells them not to shoot.

NEXT ON GH:

Carly rushes back in to Jax's arms and wants to know everything that's been going on at home.

Trevor says that he wants Kate prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

As Jason and Johnny face off, Johnny says, "Go ahead, kill me."
