General Hospital - DAILY UPDATES

Kate and Carly are in a verbal cat fight when Sonny comes home and finds himself enjoying it. Sonny eggs them on and Kate spits back at him. Then Carly realizes that Kate and Sonny are flirting. "How well do you know each other?" she asks. Sonny says that they just met and have been arguing over her helicopters that fly over his house. Kate tells Carly that she doesn't live there so it's none of her business. Carly informs Kate that her children spend time there so that makes it her business. Before they can get any further, Carly gets a call from Jax to meet him at the Metro Court, so she leaves right way. After she's gone, Sonny continues to taunt "Connie" but she insists that Kate is her own woman and she didn't marry into a dime, unlike Carly. Kate starts to make fun of Carly's ostentatious diamond and Sonny informs her that Jasper Jacks bought it for her. Kate recognizes the name and can't believe that Carly is married to him. Sonny continues being his charming self and asks her if she has carried a torch for him all these years. Kate says that she refuses to romanticize the past. She says that she couldn't wait to get away from the place where boys referred to going to jail as "going on vacation." The more she talks about Benson Hurst, the more upset she gets. She tells Sonny that she's glad he has done well for himself and then leaves.

Ric is asking Skye where Lorenzo is and Skye says that she's not worried…yet. She says that he will likely show up at any moment and there's no reason to get the police involved. Ric suggests that Lorenzo has given her plenty of reasons to fear for her life. They argue over who had the biggest motive to get ride of Lorenzo, but Ric receives a phone call and has to leave for the Metro Court.

At the Metro Court, Mac wants to arrest Jerry for being "Mr. Craig", but Lady Jane says that his name is Jerry Jacks. Mac is livid as he accuses Jerry of shooting his niece and allowing Alan Quartermaine to suffer irreparable heart damage. Jerry continues to deny knowing anything about this James Craig person. He contends that he only came back to Port Charles to surprise his mother and brother. Emily, Nikolas and Alexis are holding their breath waiting to see what unfolds. Mac asks Jax if this is his brother or not and finally Jax says that he's sure his brother had nothing to do with the tragedy at the Metro Court. Alexis speaks up and says that she will represent Jax's brother in this matter. "Do you really want to defend a man who would blow up his own brother's hotel?" Mac asks Alexis. Emily speaks up and says that this man is certainly not James Craig. Mac asks Nikolas and he quietly says that Emily is right. Alexis tells Mac that he can't place a wrongful arrest and should let her client go. Ric arrives and Mac asks if he recognizes Jerry's voice from his negotiations on the phone that night. Ric can't be sure. Ric suggests that they do a DNA testing in order to be sure.

Carly arrives and Jerry acts as if he's never met his new sister-in-law before. Jax tells Carly that his brother has had plastic surgery. With Mac and Ric paying close attention, Alexis asks Carly if the man before them is James Craig. Carly thinks for a minute and says that James Craig should have to pay for what he did. Jerry agrees whole heartedly. Mac poses the question again to Carly. She pauses and finally says, "No." Lady Jane sighs in relief. Mac says that the Jerry Jacks he knew wasn't capable of what happened at the Metro Court, but he always walked a little too close to the line of the law. Ric tells Mac to let Jerry go and that when the DNA results come in, they'll have their answer once and for all. Jax assures Mac that Jerry won't flee.

Liz is talking to Jason on the waterfront. She tells him that he has every right to come forward as Jake's father, but she doesn't want him to. Jason says that he only wants Sam to know the truth. Liz is afraid that Sam will want custody, but Jason assures her that he wouldn't allow that. Liz says that she's afraid that she'll end up losing Jake and then Cam and Lucky will suffer for her mistake. Liz tells Jason that she envies Carly and her fearless manner of raising her children in the middle of Sonny's dangerous life. She admits that it would terrify her if Jake's last name was Morgan and that she wishes she could feel differently. Jason sighs and tells Liz not to worry because he'll never try to take Jake away from her. Just then, Sam calls Jason and asks him if they can have a quiet dinner at home together tonight.

Amelia has escorted Sam back to the penthouse and then asks Sam why she is allowing Jason to keep his secret from her. Sam defends his position, but admits that it's not comfortable for her. "I want Jason to tell me the truth," she says, and then says that she'll help him file for custody. Amelia asks Sam if she wants to help Jason, or get back at Elizabeth. Sam admits that it's probably a little bit of both. Amelia advises that Sam take a step back and concentrate on the show. Sam says that she doesn't want a lie between her and Jason anymore.

Liz wipes a tear away from her eye before she enters her home to find Lucky and Cam playing hockey on the rug. Lucky can see that she's been crying and she brushes it off to hormones. Soon Emily and Nikolas drop because they want to tell Lucky and Liz something. They say that Jax's brother Jerry is back in town and he looks just like James Craig. Elizabeth freaks out at the memory of the man who terrorized her when she was pregnant and Lucky asks Nikolas what he thinks. Nikolas says that if he really thought Jerry Jacks was Mr. Craig, he'd be dead. Liz and Lucky thank them from coming by with the news, and then they leave. After he closes the door, Lucky tells Liz to be extra careful until they are absolutely sure who Jerry Jacks is. He leaves to call Mac, and Liz whispers to Jake how lucky they are that Jason saved them in the Metro Court.

Jason arrives home and finds that Sam has ordered Chinese food in. She's lit candles and the first thing she does is apologize for being so preoccupied with her work lately. They agree that they've missed each other lately. She tells him that she wants them to be honest with each other and close again. He admits that he has a lot going on and Sam urges him to not keep everything to himself. Before Jason can open up to her, Spinelli bursts in and is excited about a "real family dinner." Sam tells her that she and Jason are desperate to be alone without their "freeloading live-in." She leaves and Spinelli feels awful. He tells Jason that he pays him well and he should move on. Jason says that he can stay as long as he wants, and in fact, he would worry about him if he was on his own. Spinelli says that he couldn't leave Jason without "the Jackal's tech support." He forces Jason to admit that they are friends and then Jason hands him a fistful of cash for his work and tells him to go find Lulu and go to dinner.

As Jax and Carly arrive home, he explains that he couldn't turn Jerry in - for Jane's sake if nothing else. Carly hugs Jax and says that she hates Jerry for what he's going to him.

At the Metro Court, Jane can't believe that Jerry is actually planning to stick around. She tells him that she knows he is James Craig, right? She says that she's glad his father isn't there to see what he's become. She can't believe that Jerry has asked Jax to risk his reputation to defend him. "You have crossed the line from bad behavior to evil and you don't seem to even care!" Jerry is very curt when he says, "When have I cared about anything, mom?"

Sam returns to the penthouse and finds Jason drinking a beer alone. He says that Spinelli went out and Sam says that she brought some chips and dip as an apology. She sits next to Jason and says that she wants to be able to count on him as her "one person".

Ric sneaks into Lorenzo's house and starts to look around for clues. He finds a tape recorder hidden underneath the desk and plays it. He hears Lorenzo say, "Morgan."
