Convinced that the baby needs to go home, Jason prepares to speak up; Skye does her best to get through to Lorenzo, and Jax defends Jerry to Carly.

Ric comes into Sonny's office and finds Jason staring at the computer. He wants to know what is so interesting, and when Jason doesn't speak, Ric makes a grab for the laptop. They do a little tug-of-war game and finally Jason jerks it free and smashes it against a wall. Sonny comes in and asks Rick why he is antagonizing Jason. "He needs to stay away from Elizabeth and let's not all pretend we don't know why," Ric says. Sonny asks what he missed. Jason explains that Liz is in critical condition, that's all. Ric says that Jason is a one-night stand that she is trying to get over! Sonny throws Ric out and then asks Jason why he didn't eliminated Alcazar last night, as planned. Jason explains that he found Elizabeth bleeding and she needed to get to the hospital. Sonny accepts his story, but reminds Jason that he needs to focus on Alcazar now. Jason assures Sonny that Alcazar will be dead at the next possibly opportunity.

Patrick explains to Nikolas that they think a higher dose of the counter agent compound he came up with could free him from Craig forever. The down side is a high dose could kill him. Nikolas not only wants to take the chance, he won't let Robin call Emily because he doesn't want her to watch him die. Most importantly, he wants his connection to Craig to end today. Patrick thinks the predicament over in his head, and then injects the chemical into Nikolas's IV.

Craig and Emily are on the private jet back from their banking meeting. He says that Nikolas won't need the counter agent for a couple of hours, so why can't she relax a little? She tells him that her best friend had a baby and she wants to get back to Port Charles. Craig makes a few cracks about the bun that Elizabeth "popped out" and Emily asks him if there is anyone in this world that he actually cares about?

Carly has come home and found Jax talking to Michael about Jerry. After she bribes Michael with a new toy, she tells Jax not to make Jerry out to be a hero to her children. Jax wants to know what she's talking about? Carly says that Jerry is selfish and continues to put Jax's life in danger. Jax defends his brother, and then says that he has something to tell her. He tells her that Jerry came to the house while they were on their honeymoon. He admits that Jane and the boys were sworn to secrecy, which sets Carly on fire. She says that Jerry is a stranger to her boys and having them lie to her is not okay. Their voices are loud, but they manage to hear the knock at the door. When Carly opens it, Sonny says, "Don't tell me the honeymoon is over already." Sonny comes in with some papers that need Carly's signature, but he gets the cold shoulder and leaves. Carly says that she doesn't appreciate having to lie to Sonny because if he knew that Jerry was in town, he'd freak out. Jax says that Sonny is far more dangerous than Jerry is. Jax says that Jerry could well be in the country legally because he cut a deal for amnesty years ago. Carly wants him to call Lady Jane and he agrees to. He apologizes and says that he will talk to Jerry and tell him what's acceptable and what's not. Then he says that he won't cut his brother out of his life. Carl asks if he's going to leave her again to go save his brother? He follows her outside and promises that he'll never let Jerry undermine their marriage.
At Elizabeth's bedside, Kelly comes to Lucky (and Lulu) with the news that there is no indication that she will come out of this situation soon, or at all! She goes on to say that since the baby is healthy, he can go home. She asks Lucky who the baby can go with, since he's staying with Elizabeth. Lucky refuses to let anyone go anywhere until Elizabeth wakes up. Kelly says that rotating nurses are no substitute for bonding with a family member, but she'll agreeā¦for now. After Kelly leaves, Lulu says that she, Bobbie and Carly can take care of the baby, but Lucky won't hear of it.

Skye and Lorenzo are at home, and Skye is meek and agreeable and saying anything to convince Lorenzo that she is trustworthy. She says that she has taken a really long look at her actions and is sad that they broke the trust that they worked so hard to build. She tells him that she wants, and needs, to be with him. She moves in for a kiss and he pushes her away. He says that even if they sleep together, he won't bring Lila home yet. She says that she understands that, but says that she made a mistake. He accepts that she resents him, for one thing, because she lost the Quartermaines over him. She says that she values her relationship with him far more than the Quartermaines. She says that he deceived her, but that doesn't change what's in her heart. She says, "You are IT for me."

Spinelli is hanging out at the nursery so that he can give updates to Jason. Soon he arrives and Spinelli reports that the baby is supposed to be developing with family at home by now. He urges Jason to come forward and claim his son so that he can nest properly. Epiphany comes to scoop Spinelli out of there, but Jason distracts her by asking how the baby is doing. Epiphany says that this is a crucial time for a baby to bond with family, but Lucky is focused on his wife.

Skye goes to Sonny and begs him not to kill Lorenzo. He tells her that he is disappointed in her for allowing herself to be deceived again. She assures him that she wants Lorenzo dead, but not until he returns the baby to her. She explains that Lorenzo overheard her talking with Ric and now he knows that she has betrayed him. She tells him that if Lorenzo dies before he brings Lila home, she could be lost to her forever. She says once he trusts her again and brings the baby home, she will personally unlock the door.

Ric goes back to the hospital to talk to Lucky. He tells him that he's right to keep the baby at the hospital for Elizabeth's sake. He says that Elizabeth could slip away if she senses that the baby is gone. He assures Lucky that Elizabeth has a lot to live for, and then leaves.

Lulu runs into Spinelli outside of the nursery. She explains that since Lucky wants the baby near Elizabeth, the Spencers will rally by making the nursery as "homey" as possible until Elizabeth wakes up. She says that they will take turns holding him and telling him stories about his family. Suddenly, Lulu breaks down and talks to Spinelli about her abortion from last summer. She says that suddenly she is frightened to be around the baby. He gently suggests that she take her experience out of the equation and treat the baby like a little creature who wants to know her "awesome love." So, she wipes off her tears and they knock on the nursery door. Epiphany allows Spinelli to accompany Lulu IF he keeps his mouth shut. Lulu's tears turn to joy as she laughs and picks up her nephew and tells him that she loves him. The baby smiles at her!

Emily arrives at the hospital to find Nikolas unconscious. She is irate when Robin and Patrick tell her what they've done. She makes them leave the room so she can be alone with him. Soon, he starts to wake up and she calls Patrick and Robin in to take his vitals. It looks like there is no poison left in his body, and Nikolas starts to talk. Then Craig walks into the room disguised as a doctor. Robin picks up the phone to call security and Craig puts his arm around Emily and says that if he goes to prison, so does Emily.

Jason has gone to talk to Elizabeth. He tells her that since he doesn't know when she'll wake up, he's considering taking their son home. He said he never imagined that their child wouldn't have her, and proceeds to beg her to wake up. Lucky arrives and Jason stands up and tells him that the baby shouldn't stay in the nursery. Lucky tells him -- with all due respect -- that it isn't his business. Jason tells him that it is his obligation to consider the baby's best interest. Elizabeth's eyes open at that very moment.
