Carly may be late, but she shows up, as does Jason…and Sonny.
Michael and Morgan show up at the coffee warehouse to tell Sonny that they aren't going to Carly's wedding because they don't want him to be alone. Sonny tells them that this day is for their mother and they are to give Jax a big welcome to the family.

Alexis is dressed for the wedding -- looking great! She's at Wyndemere to see if Mr. Brosnan has agreed to be her escort. She is surprised to learn that Nikolas never passed the invitation along. Alexis nervously rambles about dreadful Carly is, but Jax is her best friend. Very sweetly Jerry/Mr. Brosnan says that he has a conference call and can't go although he'd love to. He tells her to have fun and she says that she will -- if she drinks heavily. After she leaves, Craig asks Nikolas who this Jax character is and who is the "dreadful" woman that he's marrying. Nikolas reminds him that they own the Metro Court that he blew up.

Lulu goes by Carly's to see if she needs any help. Carly is a nervous wreck with flopped hair and "who-chi-mama" earrings instead of "bride" earrings. Lulu tells her to relax and she'll turn her into perfection. Carly says that Jason is not her good luck charm and she doesn't even need one for that matter. As she turns around to face the mirror, her compact crashes to the ground turning her pressed powder into a pile of very loose powder with a cracked mirror. Lulu is able to create an awesome hair style but Carly says that it doesn't feel right. Lulu asks if she's sure that Carly isn't referring to Sonny? Carly doesn't want to hear his name today. Just then, Bobbie and Lady Jane come over on their way to the ballroom. Bobbie brought "something old" - the first piece of jewelry she bought with her money as a surgical nurse. Jane has brought "something new". It's a lovely black negligee even though that's not a traditional gift. "You should see what my mother-in-law gave me!" she giggles. Lulu has something "borrowed". It's Laura's engagement ring for Carly to wear on her right hand. Lulu says that she never saw Laura as happy as when she wore it, and she knows Carly will be too. Then, the ladies realize that there's nothing "blue" and they start to panic.

Jason comes home to see Spinelli dressed like him -- in his tux. Jason asks what's going on and Spinelli explains that he stepped in as "best person" at Carly's rehearsal and it went pretty well so he thought he'd step in today, too. Jason forgot there would be a rehearsal, but he made it back for the wedding. Spinelli says that Sam is at work and she didn't see any note about his little trip. In fact, she thinks he took off because of "the late Dr. Dad", and not because he is the father of "the fair Elizabeth's innocent one."

At the Q's, Edward, Monica, Alice, Emily, Dillan and Ned are dressed for the wedding. Luke wants to know if the opera is in town. They tell him that his niece is getting married today! He says that his niece doesn't like him and he's had his share of weddings. Alice says that since Tracy is out of town, she could be his date. Luke says that would sweeten the pot, but still declines. Ned wonders if Skye will attend today and then Edward mentions that the war between Sonny and Lorenzo is looming. Luke bolts to attention and mentions something about the wedding being the perfect diversion. He takes off and says, "I've got a life to leave…"

Lucky and Liz have arrived at the ballroom first. They marvel at how beautiful it is and Lucky pulls out a "Happy 1 Month Anniversary" present for his bride. They kiss.
Carly tells Lulu not to worry about the "something blue" because she doesn't believe in luck. Max is at the door and Carly thinks that Sonny sent him. He tells her that he's bringing something that he wrote for her to read later. Lulu spots the blue handkerchief in his jacket pocket and nabs it! Everyone lightens up and Carly kisses him on the cheek repeatedly for saving her wedding. She asks them all to leave so she can dress alone and they reluctantly agree. Then, the heel on her shoe breaks. She shakes her head and mumbles, "Sonny."
Jason goes to the warehouse to check in with Sonny before the wedding. He asks Sonny if he's going to be okay and Sonny says, "No."

Everyone is starting to gather in the ballroom. Monica is missing Alan. Robin and Nikolas "clink" champagne glasses. Emily tells Patrick that she knows the truth about Nikolas and Robin. Dillon, Milo and Spinelli are arguing over Lulu, and when she walks in they stop and stare. They start to fight over her again and she chooses to go hang out with her two other dates, Michael and Morgan. Ned finds Alexis and they laugh at the memory of the last time they were at a wedding together (she left him at the altar!). He asks her if she'll be his date and she hugs him and laughs. Jax is in another room looking out the window, not worried that Carly won't show, but wishing that his brother would.

Carly opens her front door and sees that Jason has come. Then she starts crying because she loves two men. Jason says that Jax loves her even though he knows how important Sonny is to her. She affirms that she really wants to marry Jax, then she looks in the mirror she sees that her hair and makeup are a mess. First Jason helps her with the many teeny buttons on her gown and then she asks him to put her garter on. "You're kidding me right?" She reminds him that's what the best person does. He turns his head around as far back as possible and slips it "up there." They laugh and she says that she loves him. She looks happy and excited as they finally leave for her wedding.

Luke has gone to the warehouse to hang out with Sonny. They talk about weddings and marriages. Luke says that if he had the choice, he'd want to spend the rest of his life with Laura. Then he says that he as a good thing with Tracy as it turns out. Sonny says that it never occurred to him that Carly was the love of his life until now. (They are both clinging to their oversized coffee mugs as if they contained scotch.) Luke changes the subject and says that with the impending mob war coming down, he'd like to remind Sonny of something. He wants him to remember who his real enemies are and who is in the crossfire. After Luke leaves, Sonny stars at a photo of Carly and the boys and then finally reaches for a bottle of booze.

The guests are all seated and Monica is wondering if Carly will dump Jax. Robin asks Max if he knows where Jason is. Jane and Bobbie are wondering where Carly is and Mike (who is seated behind them) says that his son probably pulled out all of the stops. Alexis goes in the back and tells Jax that the crowd is getting restless and if she could sing, she would. Jax says that weddings run late, that's all. Alexis hates to ask, but she says, "Do you think she left you at the altar?"

Jax asserts that she wouldn't do that, and he goes out to kiss his mother and stand at the altar. Carly and Jason arrive and Alexis tells Carly that she would've stabbed her with a pitch fork if she stood Jax up! Carly beams, "I'm here!" So, Alexis takes her walk down the aisle, waving at her friends and hugging Jax when she reaches him. As Jason and Carly stand at the back of the ballroom, one more guest arrives.
Sonny.
