General Hospital - DAILY UPDATES

Lorenzo gives orders for the ambush. "I want Corinthos and Morgan carried out of the cellar in body bags," he sneers. He says that they are so arrogant that they don't even have any security in place. He wants the wrath of God to come down the moment they step foot in that cellar. "Lorenzo, what's going on?" Skye says as she enters the living room. She tells the business associate that everything needs to go through her until Mr. Alcazar is feeling better. "I'm clear on who is in charge" he says. She reminds him to use Pier 13 again tonight and then turns to Lorenzo and tells him to take it easy and rest.

Carly and the boys are in Sonny's office. She has brought them so that they can stay with their dad while she's on her trip to Montreal. She thanks Sonny for cooperating and he tells her to have fun, even though the tension in the air is palpable. As she turns to leave he asks her to be honest with herself about how she wants to spend the rest of her life. Then, Sonny tells his boys that they will go to Kelly's for dinner. Michael asks him why he has given up on Carly. Sonny says that he is done with the games. He wants Carly to come back to him of her own free will.

Jason and Sam are at Kelly's when the press pushes their way in and fires questions at Sam, "Does the godfather of Port Charles pay your bills?" Mike gets a baseball bat out and swings it at the press until they leave. Sam apologizes to Mike and Jason and says that it should all die down once the first episode airs. Jason tells her that she could sign a restraining order, but not if she doesn't want to. She reminds him that any publicity is good for the show. Lucky and Liz come in for dinner and run into Jason and Sam. They tell her they are excited for her show and that she deserves it after what she did to save Liz during the crisis. Sam leaves to meet Amelia and Liz and Lucky sit down at a table. Liz tells Mike that she wants pasta. Lucky says that she needs protein and iron, and she laughingly agrees to order steak. She tells him that she has 3 weeks left until her due date, but Lucky says it's only 19 days.

Jax is waiting for Carly at the Metro Court. Amelia finds him and asks if she can set up some promo shots for "Everyday Heroes" at the Metro Court. He says they can ask Carly what she thinks. When she arrives, she excitedly thanks Jax for consulting her and then agrees to let Amelia proceed with the photo shoot.

Coop comes rushing in for his shift at the Metro Court and Max tells him that he's late. Coop whispers that he passed his PCPD test and that everything is all set. Logan comes in and asks Coop when he can take his security job. Maxi tells him to beat it and stop breathing down their necks. Logan tells Coop that he'll meet him at Kelly's later.

Max calls Sonny's office, but gets Jason. He reports that Cooper passed the exam. Just then Maxi is announced, so Jason agrees to see her. She tells him that a guy named Logan Hayes could probably make a good worker for Sonny. She says that if he hires Logan she can give him info from the police department in return for the favor. Lulu comes rushing in and overhears everything. She tells Jason not to believe a word out of Maxi's mouth!

Logan goes to Kelly's and asks Mike if he knows anything about the mob boss in town. Mike says that Sonny Corinthos is his son and what's more, he's on his way for dinner so he'd better stop with the questions. Right on cue, Michael and Sonny come in. Sonny tells Mike that Carly went to Montreal with Jax and that Michael is being punished for trying to prevent it. Before they can talk any further, the press finds them and asks Sonny questions about his "mistress". Mike throws them out again, and Michael asks Sonny if he really bought Sam a TV show. He says that they can talk about that later and then tells Milo to take the boys home to Leticia. He calls Diane and asks how she's coming with the restraining order. When he learns that Sam won't sign because of her career, he is furious. Then he calls Jason and tells him they have to meet right away at the cellar.

Sonny storms out of Kelly's just as Coop is arriving to meet Logan. Logan tells him everything that he saw about Sonny Corinthos. Coop acts like he has no idea who Sonny is. Maxi comes in and tells Logan that Lulu just blew it big time because she was going to get him a job with Sonny. Lulu comes in and says that Maxi was going to sell out her own father! They fight about who is the biggest loser until Maxi slaps Lulu.

Carly and Jax are on their private plane toasting to each other and their endurance during all they've been through. Jax wants to make this trip about a new beginning and not looking back. They talk about Montreal and how close it is, compared to Paris. She asks if he ever took Brenda there and he says no. She says that she's never been there either so it can be "their" city. He tells her that for tonight they should assume that their lives together will be absolutely perfect.

Sam arrives at the Metro Court amidst a flash of the media's bulbs. She tells Amelia that she's considering filing a restraining order. Amelia tells her "absolutely not!" She says that Sam needs to either commit or walk away. Sam says that she doesn't react well to ultimatums. Amelia tells her that she can always go back to being a desk clerk.

Ric goes to Skye and tells her that he knows of her shipment coming in tonight. He tells her that Lorenzo is faking his brain damage and setting her up to take the fall. She says that he loves his family and she's only helping out for a little while. Ric says that he wants to get out from under Lorenzo's thumb. He tells Skye to wake up before it's too late.

Carly and Jax have arrived at their restaurant in Montreal and she marvels at how far she's come since the trailer park in Florida. He asks that she never mention that little fact in front of his friends. She laughs and tells him that it keeps her real. He compliments her on living on her own terms. Then they stand up to dance.

Lorenzo is at home talking to Lila Rae about how much he loves her and her mommy. He promises that after tonight they will be safe. He gets a phone call and learns that Sonny is at the cellar. He tells his accomplice to lay low until Morgan arrives and then go for blood. Skye comes home and hears him say, "Go ahead. And make sure that there are no survivors."

When Jason arrives at the cellar, Sonny tells him that the press came after him in front of his kids. He tells Jason that Sam has to sign the restraining order or quite the show.

(The following scenes are cut together in a slow motion montage set to instrumental techno music.)

Goons jump out from their hiding spots in the cellar and start firing at Sonny and Jason. Sonny and Jason reach for their weapons and start firing in return.

Sam has agreed to go forward with the Metro Court Photo shoot. She has on a red dress and starts vamping it up for the photographer with Amelia looking on from the sidelines.

At the hospital, Liz is talking to Lucky when she jolts due to a contraction. She crumbles to the ground as the orderlies rush to her with a gurney.

Jax has gone down on one knee and put a diamond RING on Carly's finger.

With gunfire ringing out from the cellar below Kelly's, Logan and Coop push Lulu and Maxi to safety. They look at each other and nod, then pull out hidden handguns and start to cover themselves with gunfire.
