Jax and Carly come to an understanding; Lulu confronts Maxie. Mr. Craig escorts Alexis home.
Outside, Sam is trying to come to terms with her new-found fame when Amelia suggests taking things one step further. She believes they should tape a segment with Sam being attacked on air! "The show and my life cannot cross," she says, uneasy with the suggestion. Before Amelia can say more, Jason calls, asking her to come to the office. There are problems with the press and they want her to handle it. Rather than Sam facing the press, Amelia goes but instead of talking to them right away, she bypasses them to speak with Sonny and Jason. She offers to handle things, if they will talk Sam into helping her. "Just go away, please," Sonny says. His secretary arrives, siding with Sonny and Amelia slams out of the office. She gives the press a statement and then shuts the door on them. Back in the office, Sonny warns Jason that Sam's new job could be harmful to their interests.
At their private party, Jax tells Carly that he needs her! "Please just don't go," he says! Carly tells Jax that he is acting just like Sonny. Wanting to believe him, but not sure if she should, Carly agrees to stay. "Just keep talking," she says as they sit at the table. Jax tells her about an Italian family that may be able to supply the marble she needs, effectively cutting her off from him. "I'm always going to love Sonny, but he and I can't be together," she says, wanting Jax to understand that while she wants a divorce she will never be cut off from Sonny. Jax surprises her, asking her to concentrate on them. He proceeds to tell her that while away he spent time in Saudi Arabia. He pulls a pearl he obtained there from his pocket, presenting it to her. Carly takes it as Jax tells her that he has been carrying a torch for her! "Why do you want to be with me?" she asks. Jax tells Carly that he loves her, even though he knows he shouldn't. "You say it's over with you and Sonny and I want to believe that," he says. Crying, Carly tells him that she didn't see what was coming with Sonny. Jax offers to take small steps to their future rather than jumping head first, but Carly isn't sure she deserves that. Running his hands over her face, Jax kisses her!
In the park, Kristina asks Mr. Craig for help because she can't wake Alexis up! Alexis wakes, seeing Mr. Craig. "I'm perfectly capable of getting up under my own steam," she says when he insists on helping her home. Mr. Craig, though, won't leave them alone and helps them home.
At Wyndemere, Robin pleads with Nikolas to go along with Mr. Craig. She can't figure out what Craig is injecting, so he isn't safe unless they cooperate. They talk about their loved ones, both wondering if they can ever get back what they had. Nikolas advises Robin to keep Patrick out of the loop. He believes they need to keep Patrick and Emily as far from the situation as they can. Robin wonders about a counter-agent. Craig returns with Alexis and Robin begins checking her out. He suggests she stay at Wyndemere but Nikolas refuses to let her stay! Alexis can't believe that Nikolas won't let her stay at the mansion. Telling her that she needs to see a doctor, not stay at the estate. Annoyed, Alexis wonders what is behind Nikolas not wanting her to stay. Mr. Craig interrupts, offering to take Alexis home. She agrees. Kristina returns with an apple and they head home. He tries to stop her, but she doesn't stop. Nikolas is worried about Mr. Craig being alone with Alexis. "Craig needs you alive," Robin says, trying to reassure him. Nikolas isn't so sure and wonders if he is just another mistake that Craig is making. At the boat launch, Alexis tells Mr. Craig she can make it the rest of the way on her own. Mr. Craig won't take no for an answer, though, and tags along anyway.
At the hospital, Patrick confronts a nurse because he can't find a chart. The nurse quickly finds it, telling him that he was looking in the wrong place. Annoyed at how Patrick has been acting, she wonders what is wrong. Lainey comes over, asking if he wants to talk. Patrick doesn't see the point of talking things over and tries to get away from her. She suggests there may be more to the situation that Robin is telling him. As Patrick prepares to leave, Lainey stops him. Not wanting to be alone, he offers her tickets to the opera. She asks him to be patient because she is certain that Robin still loves him!
On the docks, Lulu confronts Scott, telling him that she knows he killed Weber. "If that's true, what's to stop me from killing you now?" he asks. Lulu calls his bluff, telling Scott that too many people would ask too many questions if she were to die. "My mother going crazy is what concerns me," she says angrily. Just as angry, Scott grabs Lulu, trying to get her to admit to blackmailing him. Logan approaches, gun drawn and tells Scott to back off! "There's no proof that I killed Rick Weber," Scott says as he lowers the gun. Lulu could care less about proof, she knows what she knows. Crying, she warns him to stay away from Laura or she'll get Luke involved. Logan steps between them again, defending Lulu. Scott leaves and Lulu slaps Logan. "How dare you?" she asks, confronting him about blackmailing Scott and using her to do it! Logan refuses to tell her who else is involved and she leaves him alone on the docks.
At the coffeehouse, Coop thanks Maxie for helping him fake the police exam. She asks why he got into law enforcement in the first place. Before he can answer, Lulu arrives and pours a glass of soda over Maxie's head! Maxie tells her she should be grateful and Logan and Coop struggle to keep the two women separated. Logan tells them there is nothing to fight over because there is no proof that Scott did anything. Lulu leaves and Logan turns on Maxie. Coop steps in, telling Logan to back off. Annoyed, Maxie wonders what it will take for people to see the real Lulu. Logan follows Lulu to the docks, trying to comfort her.
