Carly is clearly uneasy and isn't eating her broccoli and Sonny wonders if Jax likes broccoli. Carly sends the boys upstairs and tells Sonny that she's had it! She tells Sonny to stop talking about Jax with the boys. She informs him that Jax is fully aware that they have remarried -- and why -- and even that they had sex while he was gone. She tells him that Jax has NOT broken up with her…they are just having "peaks and valleys." She tells Sonny that thanks to him the best relationship she's ever had is in limbo.

He offers his legal help in sorting through whatever it is that she's reading, but they explain that it's probably just part of Alan's will or something. Before they can get rid of him, Luke comes home and tells Scotty to leave his family alone. They spar a little and then Scotty finally goes on his way. Dillon makes his exit next and makes a big deal about taking the letter with him. Luke suspects something is off, but Dillon says that Alan's death is hitting him harder than he thought. Once alone with his daughter, Luke very loudly orders her to stay away from Scott Baldwin. On the front porch, Dillon finishes reading the letter. He finally finds the part that says that…Scott Baldwin is Rick's killer!

Patrick is sitting next to Robin at Mac's house taking the call with his HIV results. He is negative. After he hangs up, Patrick reflects that the power of medicine is weird. He tells Robin that Emily, Elizabeth and Carly had her blood all over their hands and their risk for contracting the disease is minimal because Robin's viral load is almost undetectable. Why? Because she has been very responsible about taking her meds. He finally admits that he was a fool to put off taking his tests and says that information is power in this disease. Just then, he's called in for a consultation and Robin insists that he go, even though the voice on the other end of the phone is an old, FEMALE, friend of his that is obviously flirting with him.

As it turns out, Lucky has some police business about the hostage situation to go over with him, and then he expresses his condolences regarding Alan. Then, he thanks Jason for saving Elizabeth and his baby that night.

At the Metro Court, Maxi introduces Cooper Barrett III to Jax and Max – in hopes that he can get a job in security. Cooper explains that he fought in Iraq and Jax likes the idea of hiring a vet. Does he have references? Copper says that he has pretty much just flipped burgers since he returned from Iraq. Jax inquires as to how Maxi and he know each other, and Maxi explains that Cooper is the brother of a friend from prep school. Jax decides to give him a shot, and then suggests that they keep their personal relationship from the workplace. After they leave, Max says that there's something really familiar about that guy.

Lainey comes to visit Robin and learns the good news about Patrick's HIV status. Robin tells her that Patrick went off on a consult, with an old friend…a female friend. She worries out loud if now that he's not going to live under the fear of HIV that he'll want to womanize again. Lainey tells her that she's looking for trouble that doesn't exist, Patrick loves her. Lainey has to leave and Maxi comes home. Robin double talks with Maxi about men and how communicating with them is so hard. Just then, Patrick shows up with roses so Maxi goes upstairs. Robin asks how his consult was and why didn't he go out to dinner with his old friend? "Because she has a date with her grandchildren." And anyhow, he wanted to rush home to the woman he loves, Patrick tells a smiling Robin.

Maxi meets Cooper in her room and he's a little mad at her. He's worried that Jax will do a search on him and learn that there is no Cooper Barrett III, he's only Cooper Barrett. Maxi says to make up that it's a nickname or something, and he's impressed with how easily she can lie. He thanks Maxi for all of her help, packs his few things and then leaves to go find a place to stay. Maxi suggests Kelly's because it's cheap and clean…and she hangs out there a lot. He agrees to go ask if they have any rooms. As he heads out the window, she kisses him on the cheek.

Jason goes to the warehouse and finds Stan who is working on the computers. Stan says that Spinelli got a pretty good look at their sensitive documents while he was away. Jason says it's nothing to worry about, then he calls Elizabeth and asks her to meet him so they can finish their conversation. When she arrives, he warns that lives will be ripped apart if the truth about the baby ever comes out. If raising the baby with Lucky is what she wants, he trusts her instincts as the baby's mother. Liz acknowledges that asking Jason to give up being a father at the same time of losing his father is a lot to ask. She promises that he can spend time and get close to the baby, just like he does with Michael. He says that would be too hard. He explains that he already loves the baby and it would only grow if they spent time together, so he will try to keep his distance. Liz cries and apologizes again, but Jason tells her that it's okay.

"Yea, she is…" Sonny agrees.

Luke has had a change of heart and is sorry that he's yelled at Lulu. He tells her that since she is so much like him, she'll have to learn about Scott on her own. And, when Scott hurts her just to spite him -- if she wants help from her old man, he'll give it. Then Luke notices that Lulu has earphones on and hasn't heard a thing he said. Lulu laughs and admitted that she did hear his apology and that she is duly warned. She promises to be careful where Scotty is concerned. She asks if he was always dangerous – even when he was married to Laura? Luke says they married young and he just didn't take it well when Laura went off with him. He's gotten more devious as the years go by. He says they've always hated each other, but probably even more now that Scott thinks Luke is responsible for Laura's illness. Luke remorsefully wonders if maybe there's some truth to that.
Carly stomps into the coffee warehouse looking for Jason and demanding that he take her to the Dominican Republic as he promised her he would when she was ready to divorce Sonny.
