Despite warnings Lucky anticipates a romantic evening, Carly gives in - again, and Lorenzo rallies to do his job.

Nikolas insists that Helena hand Spencer over to him. She says she won't let him and Emily fritter away his heir's life. She tells Nikolas that she'll raise him as a Cassidine should be raised so that he can grow up and claim his birthright. She offers a deal. "Either you let me take him, or he dies while you watch."

At Carly's house, the boys are happy that Sonny wants to move in and think Carly is the bad guy for wanting them to go upstairs. Sonny says that they need to respect their mother's authority and go watch a movie so they can talk. After they are alone, Sonny says he'd rather they move into his house, but at least she has bulletproof windows now. "Since when?" she asks. Sonny tells her that something is about to happen that can take them all down.

Skye and Lorenzo are talking from his hospital room. He tells her that until now, he's been happy enough to collect money to do his work and let things fall where they may. He tells her that she came along "all fire and ice" and jumpstarted his heart. He tells her that he is falling in love with her. He promises that this risky shipment is his ticket out. He prepares her by saying s soon as the double secret phone rings, he has to take shipment.
At the Metro Court, Sam is telling Lucky that his problems with Liz aren't entirely his fault. She just wants him to know that she's pulling for him. She tells him that trust can be rebuilt and that Elizabeth must be considering reconciliation if she agreed to dinner.

Liz and Jason are talking on the waterfront. She tells him that she knows he and Sam are trying for a baby; it's only a matter of time until he is a father. He admits that having a kid scares him more than anything ever has. It's the safety issue that has him concerned, although he hasn't told Sam just how worried he gets. Liz says that she protects Lucky from the truth, too. "What is it that you're hiding?" Jason asks her. She says that she just needs for Lucky to accept that she can't be with him, too many secrets and resentment. "What secrets?" he insists. She is able to skirt the issue somehow and they talk about her dinner with Lucky tonight.

In Greece, Helena realizes that she can't run from Spencer, so she tries to reason with him. She explains that Nikolas can have other children. Emily jumps in and offers to exchange herself for Spencer. Helena realizes that Emily is more expendable, so she agrees. Nikolas doesn’t waste a second to pluck his son out of Helena's arms. As soon as her hands are free she wraps her arms around Emily's neck and holds a knife to her throat. As Helena taunts her for being so innocent and naive, Emily says, "I wonder when you'll stop thinking of me as defenseless." She twists herself out of the old lady's grasp and breaks free, getting caught by the knife in the process.

Lucky looks really handsome and is sitting at his table at the Metro Court when Lulu passes by. She teases that he shouldn't have done all that for her. She notices that he has a ring box. She agrees that it's beautiful, but the divorce just came through about 2 weeks ago. She asks if he's sure he wants to risk his feelings so soon.
Liz has arrived at the Metro Court and sees Cruse is in the lobby. He tells Elizabeth that Lucky is really looking forward to tonight. He doesn't stop there; he says that he's worried how Lucky might take any disappointments where she's concerned. Cruse tells her about the hydrocodone bust from a few days ago and that he could tell that Lucky was tempted to take the pills. He assures her that Lucky didn't do anything, but he hopes that Lucky has more time to strengthen his resolve before he's challenged again.

Lorenzo ends his phone call and tells Skye that he absolutely has to receive the shipment tonight. She's worried sick that he's not strong enough. She insists that she's coming along as backup. He tells her that he loves it when she's fearless and says he knows very little about what they're supposed to be getting. He says, "All I know is that it's small enough to fit in a briefcase and big enough to destroy us all."

Sonny and Jason meet up on the waterfront. Sonny wants Jason to convince Carly into moving in with him until the business with Lorenzo's shipment is over. He tells Jason that he has to be realistic. "I know this is probably my last chance to win my wife back." Only because Jason wants Carly and the boys to be safe, he takes off to see what he can do.
Helena has gotten away and Emily tells Nikolas that she's fine – the knife only nicked her. Nikolas tells his son how much he loves him and will cherish him forever. Emily is crying and they all hug and declare that they will never do another Christmas pageant again.

Jason must have worked his magic, because Carly goes to Sonny and makes him swear that the danger he is warning about is real. If so, she and the boys will move in for a little while. Sonny tells her that Lorenzo has shut down his business until it's over, and so are he and Jason. She agrees that something must be coming down and makes him promise that he won't try anything romantic. Then, Sonny admits that he doesn't have an accent, nor is he all shiny-eyed and noble like "Candy Boy". He says it's not in him to wish her well with someone else. Carly quietly proclaims that she loves Jax. Her eyes fill with tears when Sonny tells her that what they had was a lot stronger than what she has with Jax. Then he puts himself right in her face and SHE is the one who moves in for a kiss.

Liz is seated at the romantic table with Lucky, and flowers are delivered. She tells him that they remind her of the flowers he gave her with they first fell in love. She tries to speak, but he asks if he can go first. He wants to put the past behind them and focus on the future. He tells her that he never stopped loving her. He hopes that she has some love for him left, too. Her face is bewildered when he says that she doesn't need to answer right away. Then, he pulls out the ring and asks if she'll marry him.
Skye and a very stiff Lorenzo walk into the Metro Court. Max is reading the newspaper and they think that he's there to intercept the shipment for Sonny. They act like they believe his story about not working for Sonny anymore and walk away. Skye offers to distract while Lorenzo takes possession of the shipment. Soon, the mystery guy arrives and Skye snaps into action. She blocks Max's view of Lorenzo and prattles on about a secret valentine's present. Max says he'll never understand women, but seems pleased to be in her company. The next thing we see is Lorenzo asking Mr. Morton at the front desk if he can put his silver briefcase in the vault. As he's filling out the proper forms, Sam follows Mr. Morton's orders and delivers the briefcase to the vault.
NEXT ON GH:
Sonny assures Carly that "it" can be their little secret.
Lorenzo tells Mr. Craig that he's stored the briefcase at the Metro Court.
As Sam runs out of the building screaming for everyone to leave, the Metro Court explodes.
