Lucky faces his two women, Sonny says his vows, Nikolas gets some answers and Skye gets what she's been hoping for.
Epiphany tells Liz the longer she waits to tell Lucky that Maxi's pregnancy was fake, the harder it will be. She sees Lucky get off the elevator and says, "Now's your chance". Lucky walks up to the Nurse's desk and tells he's not there to see her; he's going to respect her wishes to move on with his life. He is there for official business on the Alcazar shooting.
In Colorado, it's been 8 hours since Colleen's car plunged into the ravine and the searchers have found nothing. Nikolas is exhausted but after he drops Emily off at a hotel he's going back to the scene. Just after he leaves the room, there's a knock at the door. Emily opens it to look down the barrel of Colleen's gun! "Did you think I'd make this easy for you?" Colleen tells Emily that Helena tampered with her car and that's why she went into the ravine. She explains that Helena took Spencer while they were still in Denver. Emily nervously pours on the charm and tries to get Colleen to team up with her to stop Helena. She says that Nikolas understands why Colleen took his baby. Colleen gets emotional and says that she loves Spencer. Emily takes the opportunity to whack Colleen and grab the gun. A cat fight over the gun ensues!
Sam shows up at the Q's for another day's work. Tracy meets her and offers to start over on better terms. "What's the catch?" Sam wants to know. Before Tracy can answer, Edward comes into the room and she leaves. He promises Sam that he will support her, in spite of all Tracy's efforts. Sam asks if she can leave work 2 hours early today for Sonny and Carly's wedding. Once Edward learns that Sam will be going with Jason, he agrees. He hopes that perhaps Jason will be inspired to pop the question, too.
Carly asks Lulu to come watch the boys while she remarries Sonny. (Leticia is sick, she explains.) Lulu doesn't understand why the boys won't be their parents wedding? It's a legal maneuver, that's all, Carly tells a very curious Lulu. Then she says that she is worried because she can't get in touch with Jax to explain what she's doing. Lulu says that Jax is a reasonable guy, he should get it. Carly explains how tumultuous and intense her relationship is with Sonny and Jax will certainly not "get it." Lulu flatly states that "Sonny still gets to you." Carly admits that they do have feelings, but she and Sonny can't live together. She can't live by Sonny's extreme rules of conduct. Lulu offers some good points, but it comes back to the fact that Carly has to help Sonny stay out of prison.
In Lorenzo's room, Patrick and Robin are checking his vitals. He's stable, but not stable enough to move to a hospital in Switzerland. That’s what Skye wants to do. She explains that Lorenzo isn't safe here, but she needs to take their daughter somewhere away from Lorenzo's business. Patrick insists that his patient should stay put. Robin offers an idea. They should run some tests to see if it's even possible to move Lorenzo without hurting his progress. After the doctors leave Lorenzo's room, the mysterious Mr. Craig comes in and tells Skye that he needs to know about the shipment. He tells Skye that she's in a dangerous business and she can end up as collateral damage if she's not careful.
At Sonny's, Diane reminds Sonny that Carly doesn't need to marry him anymore. He tells her than no one else can know that, especially Carly and Jason. Just then, Jason arrives and tells Sonny how nervous Carly is. He reminds Sonny that Carly is making a sacrifice for him. He explains that she is even more afraid of losing Jax than she is of losing control with Sonny again. Sonny insists that she doesn't really want Jax and Jason just roles his eyes. He tells Sonny not to take advantage of Carly. "It's all gonna work out," Sonny closes the subject.
The cat fight between Emily and Colleen gets nasty. Colleen's on top, then Emily. There's a lot of grunting and biting and eventually, Emily even lands a winning punch to Colleen's jaw and gains control of the gun. She has it pointed at Colleen's head when Nikolas returns. He tells her not to stoop to Colleen's level. After a tense moment, Emily realizes Nikolas is right and hands the gun to him. He picks up the phone and calls the cops.
Sam and Jason are at Sonny's house waiting for the wedding. Sam notices some nice little touches, like flowers, and asks if Sonny is clear on the fact that it's an "on paper" wedding only. Jason says "not exactly." They sit down and talk about women and their fairy tale images of weddings. Jason asks Sam if that's what she'll want. "Jason, you know we don't do fairy tales," she grins.
Sonny goes to Carly's house to pick her up. When he sees that she's still in her casual clothes, he asks why she's not dressed. She explains that it's a simple civil ceremony and she can wear jeans. She calls the boys down stairs so they can explain what's going on today. She starts with "Your father's having legal problems…" After they finish, Michael's first question is, "Does Jax know?" Carly explains as best she can. She says that Sonny is family and family takes care of each other. Sonny says it's time to get back to the house for the wedding. Carly says that they get married at the courthouse, or not at all.
At the hospital, Epiphany doesn't get why Liz isn't eager to tell Lucky that Maxi faked her pregnancy. Liz says she doesn't want him to get hurt any worse, or go over the edge again. Just then Lucky comes back through the lounge on his way to the elevator. Liz sees Maxi corner him and ask if he wants to walk their puppy together later. After Lucky tells Maxi that he'd like that, Liz speaks up and says that she needs to talk to him. He tells her that there's no point in rehashing everything. She tells him that she doesn't want to talk about it in front on Maxi. He quietly tells Liz that Maxi just lost her baby; he can't just blow her off. He agrees to call her later. After he leaves, Maxi tells Liz that she's driving Lucky right into her arms. She taunts, "Thanks for being such a cold, unforgiving bitch."
Sam reports back to Edward to finish her day's work because Carly has uninvited all guests. Edward remembers when Carly threw away her and Michael's future as A.J. Quartermaine's wife in order to be with Sonny. "Sonny and Carly have been a serial disaster for years," he says. Edward flatters Sam by saying how wise Jason is for falling in love with her. He tells her that when she and Jason have a baby, they'll have everything that Carly threw away.
Back at the nurses' desk Maxi sees that her pregnancy file is out in the open for some reason. Liz finds her looking through it and tells her that she knows everything. Surprisingly, Maxi says, "Good, I'm glad you know." Lucky was happy when he was with me, she carelessly pronounces. Liz goes off on her for how self-serving Maxi is and Maxi turns it right around on her. "You don't even want him. You throw his mistakes in his face every chance you get. But I love him. We'd all be happier if I was with him, even you." Lucky comes in and tells Maxi to back off.
At the courthouse, Diane tells Jason that the judge won't wait all day. Jason explains that Carly knows that she has to do this to save Sonny, she won't be late. Diane is uncomfortable with the lie, but tells Jason that it's possible that she could have coached Carly so that her testimony wouldn't have to have been damaging. Just then Carly and Sonny arrive. "Let's get this over with," Carly says and Sonny somewhat guiltily looks around the room.
Nikolas and Emily are on their plane heading back to Port Charles. He says that Helena is probably taken the baby to Greece, where she has people in her back pocket and can help her to pull it off. Meanwhile, we see Helena rocking a sweet Spencer on her knee while discussing possible names for him. She suggests Stavros and Mikkos, but dismisses them because the Cassidines who carried those names in the first place weren't all that fortunate. Stephan is dismissed because he wasn't a worthy Cassidine. "How about Nikolas?" Helena muses. She tells Spencer, "Your father does have qualities that are admirable. This time things are going to be different. You are Nikolas the 2nd and I am personally going to do everything I can to make sure that you are going to be a Cassidine worthy of the name!"
Lorenzo's test results are in. Patrick reluctantly tells Skye that Lorenzo is stable enough to be moved, although he doesn't advise it. Skye goes to Lorenzo's bedside and begs him to wake up. She doesn't want to risk injuring him more by moving him, but she doesn't know what else to do. He starts to grip her hand. He mumbles her name and finally opens his eyes. They smile at each other.
Edward leaves Sam in the Quartermaine study, and Tracy comes in. She calls Sam by the name "Angelo Monroe" and says that they have something to discuss. "What did you say?" Sam asks.
At the courthouse, the judge is ready to perform the wedding ceremony. Carly doesn't even take off her rain coat. Before they step up to the judge, Carly tells Sonny that they will not consummate this marriage. She asserts that they will not get the boys hopes up or and "freak out my mother." She tells Sonny that they will not even leave the courthouse together. "Right?" "Yea," Sonny begrudgingly aggress. They tell the judge to go ahead and begin. Carly forces the judge to use only the bare-bones vows, but still, words like "…in sickness and health", etc., are uncomfortable for everyone. Just then Mike, Bobbie, Michael and Morgan come into the court room. When it's Carly's turn to say her vows, she can't do it.
