General Hospital - DAILY UPDATES

Once he and Emily arrive at the mountain house where they believe Colleen is hiding, Nikolas kicks yet another door in down, gun in hand. It turns out to be another empty room; but he finds a baby bottle in the trash. The cops arrive and demand that Nikolas put his gun down. Nikolas and Emily scramble to explain, but are panicked because the longer they talk, the more lead time they are giving Colleen to get away. The cop agrees to call Mac Scorpio to verify the kidnapping. In the meantime, he offers to put a police helicopter in the air. He explains that there's only one road down the mountain and a chopper is the best way to see who is on it.

Edward finds Tracy and Sam arguing over paperwork. Edward tells Tracy that Sam is driving him to ELQ for a tour, so the paperwork can wait. Just after they leave, Dillon comes home and Tracy corners him. She tells him that as an heir, he is getting the shaft. Jason and Sam are in line to deliver the golden child, but she is going to fight for his rightful place in the family…even if he won't. Dillon turns and leaves his mother in the study so he can leave Lulu a cell message. He wants to get together and question Audrey Hardy about what she might now about Monica and Rick Webber. Tracy follows him and starts in on him again. As they continue to argue, Edward and Sam return home from ELQ. Dillon bids Sam a hearty "congratulations" on her new job and splits, much to Tracy's dismay.

The mystery man in Lorenzo's room introduces himself to Skye as "Mr. Craig." He's testing her and asks her to confirm the shipment's arrival time. She tells him that the hospital isn't a secure place to talk. She assertively tells him that once she confirms his identity, she will give him the information that he needs. Epiphany makes comes in and Mr. Craig leave and Skye is thrilled for the break. Once alone with Lorenzo again, she tells him that she needs to find out everything she can about his business. She decides to go home and try to figure out the password to his PDA. "Usually people use the names of people they love….dare she hope that it's Skye?" she muses on her way out the door of his room.

At the nurse's desk, Lucky asks Liz why she always makes excuses to get away when he's around. She tells him that he needs to understand that they are not getting back together. He thinks that she doesn't believe in his recovery. He sees no other way than to follow her lead by starting to move on. "I just hope you don't live to regret it," he sadly says as he walks off. As Liz wipes the tears from her eyes, she sees that Maxi has overheard the whole thing. Maxi flashes her a snotty smile.

Ric has just revealed the tape he made to Sonny, Jason and Carly. Sonny tells him to go ahead and use it, ff he uses the whole thing -- especially the part about the phony flash drive that he and Alcazar made. Ric tells them they are free to go, for now. Sonny makes Jason and Carly leave so he can talk to his brother. Ric promises Sonny that he'll come after him and convict him. He says the fact that Sonny tried to shoot Alcazar once before will prove this time it wasn't self defense. "You are going to prison big brother….and Carly's testimony is all I need!"

Emily and Nikolas are still at the empty apartment in the mountains. They and the cop are discussing how to proceed in finding Colleen and Spencer. The helicopter driver radios in to the cop and reports that he's spotted a brunette Caucasian with a baby in the back seat is driving recklessly down the mountain. As Nikolas and Emily hang onto his every word, he tells the cop that the car is driving recklessly…it crashed a guard rail! Finally he says that it came to rest at the bottom of the gorge. Nikolas is horrified.

Jason and Carly have gone back to the coffee warehouse. Sonny comes in soon after they arrive. On his way through the lobby he simply tells Carly that the wedding is Monday and that she doesn't have to wear white if she doesn't want to. She stops him and says that people who get married usually say more to each other than that. "What kind of things" he wants to know. Incredulously, she says, "How about 'I love you'?". "Are you serious? Of course I love you," he tells her. She tells him that she's only going to get married one more time. And it's to Jax. Diane comes in and announces that she has bad news. She and Sonny go into his office.

Dillon finds Lulu up in the attic at the Scorpio house. She's upset that he's late. She tells him that they are far beyond asking people like Audrey Hardy if Monica and Rick had a fling. "I wonder how you'd feel if you mother went crazy for something she didn't do." Dillon angrily explains how his mother is driving him crazy at the moment with the whole inheritance thing. They agree to cool off and get busy. Then they start searching the attic for more clues.

At the Q's, Sam reports that "someone" forgot to realize that tonight at midnight is the deadline for the paperwork that will put an end to the Q's accountability for the condom scandal. She sees to it that the papers are signed and submitted to the courts. Edward suggests that Tracy needs an assistant so that such important things don't fall through the cracks. After Sam leaves for the day, Edward admits that if Sam comes to trust him, she might come to him for advice after she becomes a mother. Tracy contends that Sam and Jason are simply Edward's stallion and mare. Then she stomps out of the room and calls a private eye to find something about Sam McCall that she can use against her.

A woman named Joanne Adams is brought into Ric's office because she has relevant information about the Alcazar shooting. She says she doesn't want to go to jail for her involvement, so she wants to talk. She squeals that she was paid to plant a gun for Lorenzo, as well as to create a diversion. She goes on to say that the meeting was Lorenzo's idea, not Sonny's. Ric gets a glass of water to calm himself as Lucky announces that Sonny acted in self defense.

The Denver cops, Nikolas and Emily arrive at the scene of the car accident. Nikolas is very upset and the cops have to hold him back from heading down the gorge on foot. A radio report comes in that there are no signs of bodies near the crash. The doors were thrown open and it looks as if the baby seat wasn't secured properly, so the bodies must've been thrown to the river. Nikolas falls to the ground in grief.

At the hospital, Epiphany encourages Liz to get her answers regarding Maxi's so-called pregnancy. Once Elizabeth agrees that she's right, she starts going through Maxi's file and finds that her pregnancy sample is from someone with O negative blood. BUT, Maxi's blood is B+. She stole someone's sample and passed it off as her own! "In my hospital…under my watch." Epiphany growls. Liz tells her she doesn’t know what she's going to do with the information just yet.

Behind closed doors, Diane tells Sonny that if Carly won't marry him, she needs a Plan B. In the lobby, Jason tells Carly that there truly isn't another way. After being asked several times, Jason finally admits that he thinks she is being selfish. That's more than Carly can take. She agrees to do it…as long as it's on paper only. She goes on to say that maybe this time since they are both sober and sane, it can be a good chance to end on a better note. "I know in my heart who I love."

At the crash scene, Nikolas pulls himself together and starts giving orders. He wants a search team but the cop tells him that the river is covered with ice and it's pitch black outside. The cop tells him that there's no chance that anyone could have survived this crash. He adds that tomorrow, they will make every effort to recover the baby's body. Nikolas loses it.

Meanwhile we see Helena and SPENCER on a private jet. Helena tells the boy that Colleen's death will be the "touch of authenticity" that he is gone forever. She says that Nikolas will go on to have other children and Helena will rear him to be the Cassadine heir that he was born to be. But first, she tells the little guy that he needs a new name.

Skye reports back to the hospital to Lorenzo. She says that if he doesn't wake up right this minute, she's going to have to take the baby out of the country because they are in danger. Lorenzo sleeps on, even though Mr. Craig is listening at the door.

In Sonny's office, Diane gets a phone call and learns that the police have found a witness that proves that Sonny acted in self defense. Diane thinks she can push for a complete dismissal, so she tells Sonny that Carly's testimony is irrelevant. As Diane leaves, she passes Carly in the doorway. She comes in and calmly tells sonny that she will marry him.
