General Hospital - DAILY UPDATES

Sam is fidgeting in the Quartermine foyer. It's her first day at work and she's done her research. She impresses Edward with her punctuality. Jason walks in and asks Edward what he felt it was okay to pressure Sam into having his baby during a job interview. Sam tells Edward that she wants to be an asset to ELQ, not merely to the family nursery.

Skye is crying at Lorenzo's bedside. Ric peeks in the door to see how Lorenzo is doing and Skye tells him that she's sorry to disappoint, but Lorenzo isn't dead. Ric is all wide-eyed and tells Skye that until Lorenzo wakes up, she and her baby need his protection from the guys against Lorenzo. Skye asks Ric what he wants from her. He asks for access to Lorenzo's safe.

Sonny and his attorney are at home working on his case. Diane says she'll work on trying to find who planted the gun in the warehouse while he works on Carly and his marriage plans. Max brings in grocery bags with frozen pizzas and potato chips so that Mrs. C will feel at home when they move in. Max tells Sonny that he'll make sure their rooms are ready, and Sonny tells him that Carly will be sleeping with him. Max drops the groceries. Sonny tells Max to get flowers, a cake and stuff like that for the wedding on Monday. Max asks his boss why he's planning a wedding that Carly hasn't even agreed to. Sonny tells Max that if he has a problem with the wedding, he can work at the warehouse for a while instead. Max didn't hesitate to say that he would rather guard a bunch of crates than see Sonny disrespect Mrs. C's wishes. Max explains that if Jax makes Mrs. C happy, no one should stand in her way. Sonny assures him that Carly won't get hurt again if she marries him.

Carly pounds on Jason's door and Spinelli lets her in. Carly explains why she needs to find Jason ASAP. Spinelli tries to take it all in, but Carly is ranting about how much she loves another man but is being forced to marry Sonny. Spinelli ends up telling Carly that Ric has been working with "Evil Al". He said he could recreate all the same files as the flash drive, but they need the original.

Emily and Nikolas are going through Colleen's vacated apartment. Emily thinks it's time to start looking for Spencer in a different way. She wants to get the media involved. Nikolas says that a reward would generate false leads that would slow them down. Emily says that PR can be their best friend. Emily reminds Nikolas that three of the other men that Colleen worked for died under questionable circumstances because they rejected her. Emily wonders if Nikolas could be in danger, too. Emily reminds Nikolas of all the accidents that they all endured under Colleen's watch. Nikolas realizes that Colleen took his son because she couldn't have him. Nikolas said he lost his son once before, he won't let it happen again.

Edward tells Jason that if he isn't interested in securing a safe future for his offspring, that's his business. However, he built ELQ for future generations. He contends that he hired Sam for her street smarts & potential AND he wants her to have his child. What's wrong with that? Jason tells Sam that he's playing her, but she should do whatever she wants. Sam takes the job and Jason leaves. As they start with some paperwork, we see that Tracy is listening from the top of the staircase.

The mystery man at the hospital finally speaks! He's on the cell phone talking (with an accent) and wham! Carly runs right into him as she races off the elevator. She apologizes and runs off.

After Ric leaves Lorenzo's room, Skye tells him that she doesn't know who his enemies are. Carly walks in and tells Skye that they all need to move on. Skye says that's easy for her to say. Carly suggests that Ric is really the one who wants Lorenzo dead. Carly asks if Ric has been meeting with Lorenzo. Skye admits that Ric was holding something over Lorenzo's head.

Ric is at confession saying that his brother tried to kill a man. He admits that it's his job to punish his brother for his actions, but that personally he wishes the man had died. He finds it ironic that it's his job to put away his own brother. The priest, Father Mateo, says, "He's still your brother." Ric and the father talk about evil brothers and the forgiveness that is necessary. Ric asks if the father knows what it feels like to be 2nd best. That your mother didn't love you as much as her first child. Ric says it's high time that Sonny pay for all of the pain that he's caused.

Sonny comes over to see Jason. He tells Jason that if Carly doesn't marry him by Monday, she'll have to give a statement. He asks Jason to convince her. Spinelli comes downstairs and says that Carly was there. He says since Stone Cold wasn't there, he gave "the Valcary" his assistance. Spinelli explains that Carly went after Ric, only in his own unique "language". Jason has to translate for Sonny.

Edward is giving Sam the nutshell version of ELQ. Sam is looking at files and notices that a trucking division could save some money if they brought it in-house. Tracy comes in and pulls the file from Sam's hand. She tells Edward to pay Sam off to have Jason's baby, but don't embarrass the family by parading her through ELQ. Tracy stalks off and Edward warns Sam that she needs to develop a thick skin if she wants to survive his oldest daughter. Sam says she's not afraid. Meanwhile, Tracy is on the phone telling someone to dig up dirt on her father's new executive assistant.

There's a knock on Colleen's door and Nikolas opens it, holding a gun behind his back. A guy is there, looking for "Sarah". He wants to drop off a present for her son. Nikolas pulls the guy into the room and tells him that she kidnapped his son. The guy mentions that "Sarah" asked all kinds of questions about his family's cabin in the mountain town called Rocky Gap.

Carly storms into Ric's office. He's surprised that she's not dragging her feet before her statement. She tells him that she's there to make an offer. He needs to drop the charges or he'll go to prison. Carly tells him that she knows he's the one who put drugs in Lorenzo's IV because Lorenzo has evidence of his corruption. Ric secretly turns on a tape recorder and Carly spews her suspicions about the flash drive and his involvement with Lorenzo. Sonny and Jason have figured out what Carly is up do and they burst into Ric's office to get her. Ric informs them that he was at a meeting when Alcazar was drugged and there are witnesses. However, Carly just committed extortion. He proves it by playing the tape that he just made.

Skye sits at Lorenzo's bedside begging him to wake up because she doesn't know what to do. The mystery man with the accent comes in and tells her that he is a business associate of Mr. Alcazar's. Skye tells him that Mr. Alcazar is incapacitated but that she can help him. She tells him that Lorenzo has filled her in on all of the details of this particular transaction.

Emily and Nikolas have located Rocky Gap on a map and it's only an hour's drive from Denver. Outside of the apartment building, the guy who took the toy to Spencer is in Helena's car receiving his payoff for giving Nikolas a bum steer. Helena says that Nikolas is so gullible that he almost deserves what's coming next.
