General Hospital - DAILY UPDATES

As the Corinthos family makes their way to the limo after the holiday pageant, Sonny turns around but Morgan isn't there. He backtracks a little and finds the drum on the ground. Morgan is a few feet behind. Sonny warns him never to wander off again. Carly sees the whole thing and wonders what has Sonny so spooked. Sonny brushes it off by saying he's anxious to get home so that the boys can put up their stockings.

Nikolas frantically searches the manger but can't find the baby. He is clearly relieved when he looks over and sees Emily and Mike with the stroller. He makes his way to them and says that he's so glad she has the baby. But she doesn't. They start yelling, and everyone begins looking for the baby. Helena comes out of hiding and says that his former nanny must have abducted him. Nikolas approaches her and asks what she was done with his son. Helena denies it. Mac arrives on the scene and Nikolas wants Helena put into custody, but Emily tells Mac to find Colleen McHenry instead.

After Jason dropped Liz (and the "Chuggin' Charlie" toy that he found for Cameron) off at Kelly's, she stays a while. When Alexis and her girls come for ice cream after the holiday party, they stop and talk to Liz for a few minutes. As Sam is explaining to Kristina that she lives with Jason now, Liz makes a little face. They excuse themselves to get their own table. Over ice cream, Alexis thanks Sam for the "remedy" that she brought from Spinelli. It's working! They say their goodbyes and agree to see each other tomorrow. Kristina says "Merry Christmas" and Alexis and Sam exchange warm goodbyes.

At the hospital, Lucky tells Maxi that she's remarkable for helping with the hospital party for kids so soon after losing their baby. Then he offers her a ride home. She asks him if they can stop by Kelly's on the way to her house. She's dreading going back there since that is where she lost the baby, and he agrees that they can go together for her first time back.

Sonny, Carly, Michael and Morgan arrive home at Carly's house. Michael tells Sonny that Jax has gone off to rescue his brother and the wedding is postponed. Before Sonny can blow his top, Carly tells him not to cause any trouble for her and Jax. Sonny, however, is distracted. He tells Carly he'll be back before stocking time.

At the church, Mac tells him team to check airports for Spencer and talk to everyone on the scene. Nikolas insists that they are wasting time; Helena is the kidnapper. Helena tells Mac to send a forensics team to the Parapet at Windemere. She explains that they'll find Colleen's DNA because she was holding her captive there. Nikolas concedes that he knows about the parapet and Emily is shocked. Meanwhile, Colleen is talking to Spencer on the plane about how happy they are going to be together.

In the back of his limo, Sonny calls Jason and tells him to meet him at the church because he thinks he saw Manny. When they arrive, they find "Manny" and hold him at gunpoint. "You're Sonny Corinthos, right?" the priest asks him. He explains that he expected this might happen because he is Manny Ruiz's identical twin. Sonny tells Jason that he has to "take care of" Manny, but the younger priest comes upon them and explains that this isn't Manny, it's Father Mateo Ruiz. Mateo explains that they are identical twins and have identical tattoos that honored the gang they were in. They both were in prison, but their paths changed after that. Manny had evil in his soul, but Mateo found God. He has come to Port Charles to make amends for his brother's crimes.

Maxi and Lucky are ready to go into Kelly's, but Maxi asks him if he'll hold her hand. So, they walk in hand-in-hand and Liz sees them. Lucky, Maxi and Liz talk for a minute. Lucky is glad that Liz has found the toy Cameron wants. Liz tells Maxi that she's sorry for her loss, Lucky too. Lucky offers to carry the toy, but Liz says she's fine and leaves.

Mac has received the forensic report from the Parapet and it proves that there are indeed two sets of prints: Helena's and Colleen's. But there is no way to tell which of the two was held captive. Helena explains that she knew that Colleen was a threat to her great grandson before anyone else. She insists that Mac issue an Amber alert. Mac decides that Helena should be arrested for the kidnapping. Nikolas changes his mind and tells them to let her go.

Sonny pretends that he believes that Mateo is telling the truth. The younger priest assures Sonny that Father Ruiz will be a great asset to their parish. After they say their goodbyes, Jason wonders why they've never heard of another Ruiz brother. Sonny asks, "How can I put a hit on a priest?" Jason tells him if Mateo is in town to avenge Manny, they will have no choice. Sonny says they will have him checked out first.

Maxi is at the foot of the stairs at Kelly's waiting for Lucky to come down with a hat she can borrow for the walk home. When he comes down, he's carrying a present that he found in his room. She tells him not to open it, it was for their baby. He opens it anyway and finds a little cowboy hat (in honor of Luke's nickname for Lucky).

Liz and Audrey are putting out presents for morning and talking about how excited Cameron will be. He'll have everything he wants, except Lucky. Liz tells her grandmother that she waited for Lucky at Kelly's so that she could invite him to spend Christmas with them. Then, he came in holding hands with Maxi! Audrey didn't like hearing that at all, but Liz explains that maybe they need each other to get over the loss of their baby.

Jason arrives home and makes a phone call to put out the order to research Father Mateo Ruiz. Sam overhears him while coming down the stairs and freaks out. Jason promises that no matter what happens, he won't let anything happen to her. She thanks him for decorating the place while she was gone. They agree to put the star on the tree together. Jason points out that Santa has already left a present under the tree for Sam. It's a diamond star necklace, like the one she used to have.

Sonny gets back to Carly's in time to hang the stockings. They have laid out the Santa letters & cookies and Carly is snapping pictures. Except for Sonny, everyone is in their pjs as they curl up to read "'Twas the Night Before Christmas". Sonny promises to be back in the morning before they open presents. Michael asks why he doesn't just sleep over? Sonny says he can't stay, but agrees to help tuck them in. Carly thanks Sonny for coming back to spend Christmas with them, but she reminds him that she is going to marry Jax. He kisses her on the forehead and says, "Merry Christmas Honey."

Detective Rodriguez is introduced to Father Mateo Ruiz. The Detective is suspicious of him, but tells him he will be questioned about Spencer along with everyone else. Nikolas tells Mac that he believes that Colleen has his son, so Helena should be freed. Mike is furious, but Emily and Nikolas tell him that Colleen won't hurt the baby. Emily questions how much money Colleen can possibly have to cover her tracks? Nikolas says that he suspects Helena is behind it somehow. He intends to let his grandmother lead him to his son.

Once freed, Helena is on the phone ordering someone to track down Colleen because this is the perfect opportunity to reclaim her great grandson.
