Remember When Kelly Monaco was the Dancing Star?

With a new "star" dancer being revealed this week on Dancing with the Stars, it's hard to believe that General Hospital's own Kelly Monaco's first season victory was 3 "stars" ago? All three previous winners will be on hand when the Season Four winner is announced on Tuesday, May 22 at 9 p.m. (EST) on ABC . Kelly Monaco, Drew Lachey and Emmitt Smith no doubt remember how nervous they were as the winner of the much-aligned, yet highly coveted silver disco ball trophy was announced.

We know the winner won't be a soap star this time around, but it could be an undefeated female boxer, an Olympic gold medal speed skater or a wildly popular boy band member. The entire season four cast will return for one final group dance together, as well.

But this viewer plans on looking into the audience to get a glimpse of the original winner, our very own Kelly Monaco (Sam McCall). Soaps.com is still proud of that huge accomplishment!

I still can't believe that the show made her do a "dance off" with John O'Hurly after the fact - and she didn't win that time around. I'd have been so angry if I was her, but she put on a happy face. Thankfully, the show doesn't do that to their WINNER anymore!

I remember the dance off and it really ticked me off. I loved the show and I watched it and voted for Kelly!!! The dance off was unfair after myself and many others voted and she won! She worked her butt off for that win and they took it from her. I never watched it again after that except for a few minutes flipping through the channels. The dance off ruined it for me...

I too was very upset that Kelly had to do a dance off. That was so messed up. I may be a Liason fan but I love Kelly. I voted for her throughout the whole show. I believe she did a fantastic job improving her dancing skills and looked good the whole time while doin it. I even loved how she pulled off the dress malfunction. It was uncalled for her to have to do a dance off; especially when she earned that win as I say fair & square. I haven't even bothered to watch any of the other shows.
