On August 20, a few members of the General Hospital cast recorded a book for the online publisher Speakaboos.
Speakaboos promotes reading and education for children and donates a portion of their proceeds to charities such as the National Education Association and The Creation Coalition.
Kelly Monaco (Sam), Rebecca Herbst (Elizabeth) Greg Vaughan (Lucky) and Jason Thompson (Patrick) lent their voices to the book that will be available on Speakaboos.
Other celebrities who have recorded books for the organization include, Kevin Bacon, Nick Cannon, John Krasinski and Kelly Ripa (ex-Haley, All My Children).
