Jason unsurprisingly pulled through his gunshot wounds by having Sam tend to him with a wet rag, some blankets and body heat. Most impressive, but I have to believe Sonny has a doctor on the payroll they could have gone to or flew down to Mexico to take care of him who wouldn’t report his gunshot wounds to the cops. It provided for some sweet scenes between the exes, but overall, his treatment was pretty laughable.
I hate that Sonny is always so mean to Spinelli like he was when The Jackal was trying to find Michael and Kristina’s location. That said, I get that Spinelli doesn’t want to make things worse for the kids in Mexico, by sending Sonny out there, which would alert his enemies, or something like that, but he knows where they are and isn’t telling anyone. What kind of sense does that make? I could see if he was going to get them on his own or secretly enlist someone to help, but he’s just sitting on this information. How does this benefit the kids?
Nikolas was finally brought into the loop regarding Kristina and Alexis, which was about time! His scenes with Molly were sweet and I really hope they allow him to interact with the Cassadine side of his family more. He really is the only father figure Molly and Kristina have right now considering Molly’s dad moved to L.A. and Kristina never sees hers. However, while the stuff with Nikolas and Molly was great, it made me miss Ric. It would have been nice to see him get to be a real dad to the daughter he loved so much. I’m glad Rick Hearst got a new gig at B&B, because so far they are using him more than GH did in the last year or so, but I hope he comes back to GH some day.
After learning what Rebecca was doing to Nikolas, Lucky told Elizabeth he was happy that nothing had happened between the two them that they couldn’t take back. Really? How about him getting hooked on drugs and sleeping with Maxie? Or her sleeping with Jason and trying to pass off his kid as Lucky’s? I think those are pretty serious things that people rarely come back from. Rebecca trying to con Nikolas seems like small potatoes in comparison.
Kate finally explained why Giselle was blackmailing her, which since she used Zacchara money to fund the magazine makes sense I suppose, but since so much time has passed it was a little anticlimactic. Especially since Spinelli, Maxie and Lulu all of a sudden don’t care about it anymore. I don’t know if they are going to do anything more with this story, but at least we knows what’s up.

Dante continued to charm everyone this week, even Johnny, who he decked. I kind of really loved that as it’s all in keeping with his respectful, gentlemanly persona, as he was defending his mother’s honor. Their male bonding of sorts that followed was a cool follow up as well. Too bad they will be mortal enemies when the truth about Dante comes out.
Lulu gluing her hand to her hair was silly, but her banter with Matt was pretty cute. I’m not sure if Lulu and Dante are the endgame, but Matt and Lulu could both use a storyline, so having them hook up would definitely benefit each of them, all while giving the audience a sweet couple.
TPTB were seemingly testing Dante’s chemistry with Rebecca by having them randomly run into each other at Jake’s. Dante of course was the perfect gentleman, but I’m not sure I see any real chemistry with those two. If they aren’t going to pursue Lulu and Matt, I’d rather see Dante with Lulu than with Rebecca.
Even though she lost Nikolas last week, Rebecca didn’t lose the Quartermaines. I’m not sure I completely buy Edward and Monica forgiving her so easily for trying to scam them, but I’m glad she still has someone to turn to.
Have you seen the new fall promo? If not check it out here. Apparently the carnival is coming to Port Charles and from the looks of things, it’s going to get pretty creepy. I don’t know what exactly they have planned, but I’m definitely intrigued. How about you?
So that’s all I got this week. What did you think? Feel free to share your thoughts on last week’s GH below.
