General Hospital's Rick Springfield to Appear on Californication!...

Wednesday, September 16 2009

Updated September 16:

Rick's first appearance on the Showtime series will be on October 11. His character, loosely based on himself, will be an over the top, down and out former celebrity. As to be expected on this show, there will be 'tasteful nudity' involved.

Watch this video of Rick talking about his role on “Californication.”

Originally posted April 29:

The third season of FX's racy "Californication" should be pretty intriguing to General Hospital fans from the 80's. A while back, the show put out a casting call for an A-list star from the 80's to play himself as he waits for his chance to get back on top again. Soaps.com is hearing that the self-effacing role will be filled by none other than Rick Springfield (Dr. Noah Drake).

Also set to appear (but not as themselves!) are Oscar® nominee and Golden Globe® award winner Kathleen Turner, Peter Gallagher ("The O.C.") and Diane Farr ("Numb3rs"). The next season of the edgy FX original program, starring David Duchovny, is set to begin this fall. Congratulations Rick!

Anything with Rick Springfield has to be great. He's handsome, sexy, has a voice to woo and wow and his acting is pretty darn good goo! I can't wait to watch.

Wow, how is he still so hot? Someone explain how he's still so gorgeous!

I remember when he used to date Bobby!
