I cannot wait for Sonny and Carly to finally get their comeuppance for their little limogate tryst back in May. When Kate reminded Jax how much they had to pay for their simple kiss, I found myself saying, "Yah, that's right!" Remember Jason's face when Carly tried to explain why her having sex with Sonny was far less of an infidelity that when Jax kissed Kate? Huh? However, I do hope that Kate and Sonny make it to the altar, and I also hope that Jax can forgive Carly one more time, but still, I'd like to see Carly and Sonny have to put up with some righteous indignation for a while first. What I don't want to see is more of the same - Carly begging for Jax's forgiveness and Sonny spewing about how much he loves Kate. For me, the next few scenes at least are about Jax and Kate and their feelings, not another opportunity to hear Carly and Sonny tap dance.
Moving on! The very words "lethal injection" freak me out. One minute you have a healthy body and the next minute it's dead, all at the hands of the justice system. (I'm not making a political statement here, I realize the same scenario holds true for victims of violent crime, only there's a murderous human in place of the justice system.) And when the person at the other end of the needle is our beloved Johnny Zacchara, it really freaks me out. Step up Lulu. Johnny's family is powerful and will protect him, but the same can be said for the Spencer/Quartermaine combined clan. Not to mention the lengths Jason would likely go to to get an acquittal for Lulu. So again, step up Lulu.

The fact that we saw very little of Karpov last week was lovely for me. I mean, I realize that there's likely still a mob war brewing, but other than the scene in which Karpov realized that his visa was revoked, he simply didn't darken our collective doorsteps this week. Which left the stage open for lovely human interaction like Laura and Lulu on the grounds of Shadybrook, some really funny comedic moments between Diane and Max over at Sonny's house and watching Jason go from hit man to a tomato-soup-slinging nurse. "Less mob, more moments", that's my new motto.
My favorite line of the week? When Mac warned Spinelli that if anything happened to Maxie while staying at the penthouse, "...that bell will find a new home in your colon." That moment floored me on a few different levels, not only was the delivery good, I think it was the oddity of using such a clinical term in the middle of a threat of violence. It felt like an indirect oxymoron to me. And I'm a big fan on the oxymoron. I just like to say it, "oxymoron, oxymoron, oxymoron." Okay, I'm done.
So there you have it guys, everything that meant anything to me last week. You?
