Alan is such an important part of the show. It would be so sad for them to let him go. If Stuart Damon has decided to retire then I also agree it would be a mistake to recast him. If he is to leave, let him leave with some honor!

Hes been on the show too long dont let him go now. Hes too nice especially the way he stepped in for Sam like that. Plus his character a great family man unless of couse he killed Ric Webber and let Laura take the blame for it. But I think it was Monica who killed Ric Webber. She has been acting really suspicious lately.

I'm a LONG TIME Fan of the soap since 1975 and I think they NEED to Keep Alan , he is a Great Actor and has been a very important Part of the Show for a very long time. WHY aren't the writers making any EFFORT to write Alan, Monica , Bobby, Noah, and Mac into any Storylines ??? ALL of these Actors are Fantastic and they Need to be in the SPOTLIGHT !!!! I Think they can get a Great Storyline going between Bobby & Noah, make them a couple again. Alan & Monica can get more involved in their childrens lives. And they should Get Mac a Woman, the Poor guy used to be in the Spotlight with Felica & he is My FAVORITE man on the show, now they only throw him one or two lines, it just makes me sick the way the Veterans are being treated. Stop wasting these talented Actors. KEEP ALAN PLEASE !!! . Thank You Lois

How could you let Alan go? He is veteran of GH. The Q's are losing their touch first AJ, then Liza, now Alan. Get rid of Tracy.

Stuart Damon is a great actor and is part of the General Hospital. It won't be the same without him. The writer's need to keep him on the show, no matter what.

So has he been fired or has he just retired? If he was ready to retire I think that is great. Time for him to concentrate of his kids and grandkids. But if he was fired and did not want to leave that is another matter all together...right?

I am a very big fan of GH. Please TO the powers that BE!?
Do not let Sturat Damon GO. I am a very big fan of his. His story lines have been wonderful. I realy loved when he is doing a story line with Emmly. I relly liked the storyline about the Big Teddy Bear. I am very sure that if Gloria Monty were still here she would be on his side.
I know storylines have to change but this is STUPID! To lose a talent like Stuarts Suprizes even a devoted GH fan like me. The Quartermain Storyline has been in the forefrount for the last 30 Years. Too change it now would be very SAD! GH os one of my Favorate Shows so Please do not let Stuart Damon GO!
