Contestants from all over the United States will compete for a highly sought after professional artist position with Max Factor. The winner will also take home a cash prize of $100,000 and win the opportunity to serve as the make-up artist for a Style magazine photo shoot. The judges are set to be Joanna Schlip, beauty author and professional make-up artist who has worked with such clients as Eva Longoria, Scarlett Johansson, Ellen Pompeo, Laura Linney, Hilary Duff, Sheryl Crow and Jessica Simpson. The other judge is InStyle Fashion Director, Hal Rubenstein. Charlie Green, make-up artist, will guide the contestants through their challenges. "Blush" will be set in Los Angeles.
General Hospital fans speculated most of the summer away on the Soaps.com GH Message Board about whether the cancellation of Vanessa Marcil's (ex-Brenda Barrett) Primetime show, "Las Vegas", would lead the greatly missed actress back to the sets of Port Charles. Finally, last month fans were disheartened to learn from Comings & Goings Section that the actress signed on for recurring Primetime roll on NBC's second season of "Lipstick Jungle." Add that to her commitment to Lifetime, and it looks as her fans might have to wait a while longer for her schedule to allow time for GH.
