Tuesday, December 22 2009: Family Dinner.

At the hospital, Lucky interrupts Elizabeth and Rebecca's fight. The women remain catty, but Rebecca doesn’t tell him about Elizabeth's affair with Nikolas, she just wishes Lucky happiness and hopes he finds it. She gives him a hug and leaves. Lucky wonders if Elizabeth can now tell him why she hates her so much. Elizabeth says she never trusted her and she is glad she's leaving because she brings out the worst in her. Lucky likes this feisty side to her. Lucky runs into Nikolas near the elevators and Elizabeth returns with the kids who tell Nikolas they are getting a Christmas tree.

Nikolas goes to Emily's grave and talks about the lousy choices he's made since she died. It hit him today when he saw Lucky, Liz and the kids together that no matter how in love with Elizabeth he is, it’s not fair to make their lives chaotic just because his is. He promises to turn it around and make it better for everybody, as Rebecca secretly overhears.

Rebecca gets on the plane and meets the man next to her who is also going to Paris and doesn't know anyone in the city. He's sorry for staring at her and she assumes he recognizes her. He says no, he couldn't help but notice how beautiful her eyes are.

Monday, December 21 2009: A Busy Day at the Tree Lot.

At Jake's, Rebecca announces she's leaving Port Charles. Lucky tries to talk her out of it, but she says she's overstayed her welcome and it's time go. Nikolas apologizes to Rebecca for how he's treated her and she tells him it's not about him. She realizes she really came to Port Charles to get to know her sister Emily and tonight she got what she came for, so now she can leave. After Rebecca walks out, Nikolas, Elizabeth and Lucky discuss her leaving and how she needs to move on. Lucky is surprised Nikolas and Rebecca didn't work out and can't understand how things changed for them. Elizabeth says they should go and Lucky reminds Nikolas they are there for him if he gets lonely at the holidays. He adds that the right one will come along.

Monica and Tracy argue over the Christmas Tree as they decorate at the mansion, as Edward observes. Rebecca walks in and announces she is moving to Paris, which Monica suggested. Tracy is thrilled, but Edward tries to talk her out of it. Monica thinks this will be the chance for her to live out her dreams and Rebecca says she needs to get away from there and from Nikolas. Edward becomes incensed when he hears Nikolas' name. She says he can't blame Nikolas and that she has grown to love everyone there, even Tracy a little bit. She leaves to hand in her resignation to the hospital.
