Goodbye For Now Franco.

Johnny sees Lulu and Dominic at the warehouse and learns Jason and Lucky have gone after Franco. Sonny and Olivia walk up and Sonny thanks Dominic for saving Lulu. Johnny sees Olivia who is worried about him because he's not thinking straight. He says it doesn't matter anymore because Franco is long gone. One of the firemen comes out and says they found the body of a woman inside. Johnny assumes it's Claudia.

Mobsters Are So Colorful.

Maxie returns to Crimson to find Olivia, who came to check on things for a riled up Kate, who is irate her calls are going to voicemail. Maxie wonders where Lulu is and tells Olivia she was at Franco's. Olivia warns her about him, but Maxie defends him. Olivia thinks Maxie just doesn't want to admit she was taken in by him and urges her not to rationalize herself into another dangerous situation. As Maxie works alone, Dominic walks in to question her about what she might have seen at Franco's studio. Maxie doesn't have time because Lulu has gone missing and Dominic grows concerned that Franco might have taken her.

Bait.

Johnny jolts awake on Olivia's couch and she runs out to comfort him. She's worried about him and he tells her he had a dream that Claudia was begging him to find her body. Johnny vows to find Claudia and to give her a proper burial where Sonny's goons can't find her. He is determined to learn about Franco and deal with it himself and leaves.

Life Lessons.

At the restaurant, Olivia sees Johnny after she throws a drink on Sonny. The foursome exchange snarky words and Olivia and Johnny leave. Lisa tells Sonny that was kind of fun.

Olivia and Johnny go to Jake's and Olivia tries to explain what happened. Johnny is closed off and tells Olivia he found out what happened to Claudia. He points out he's in an interesting position considering her son is a cop. He explains about the photo he received and his confrontation with Jason. They talk about Dante and Johnny wonders what her plan for Sonny is, but she doesn't know what she's going to do. She just wants to focus on Johnny and take care of him tonight.

One Year.

Sonny runs into Lisa at the restaurant, who thinks he is the manager and they sit down to eat. Dominic walks in asks Sonny for the night off to go out with Lulu. Sonny thinks as long as he treats her well it's fine. As Dominic leaves, Olivia walks in to meet with Johnny and sees Sonny with Lisa. Dominic tries to get Olivia out of there, but she stays and watches as Sonny flirts with the new doctor in town. Dominic leaves and Olivia grabs herself a glass of wine, as she eavesdrops on their conversation. Olivia realizes Lisa thinks Sonny is the manager and she butts into their conversation. Lisa assumes Olivia is a jealous girlfriend when she observes their banter. Johnny walks in and sees Olivia throw Sonny's drink on him.

Family Dinner.

Michael and Morgan visit their father at his house and then Kristina walks in. Sonny wants to have a family dinner, but Kristina already has a commitment at school, and Michael and Morgan have to help decorate the tree at church. The kids offer to come over the day after Christmas to spend time with him and they leave. An uncomfortable Olivia comes to see Sonny because his bill from Claudia's party is past due. They talk about Claudia and how Diane instructed him to continue to wear his wedding ring. Olivia takes his ring and throws it out the door. Sonny thanks her even though Diane will have his head. She says whatever he's cooking smells good and he tells her he wanted his kids to have dinner with him. He asks her to join him and then Dominic walks in to update him on things. Sonny invites Dominic to have dinner with them as well. Sonny comes out with food, which is just like what Olivia's mother used to make and Dominic says it looks like his grandmother's dish. Dominic and Olivia look nervous, as Sonny asks about her son Dante. Olivia says he has to work for the holidays and then Sonny makes a toast to old friends and new friends. Sonny and Dominic talk about Morgan and the Yankees, as Olivia uncomfortably drinks her wine. Sonny then tells a story about when he and Olivia were kids and it's Dominic's turn to look uncomfortable. After dinner, Sonny tells his dinner guests sometimes the things you don't plan turn out to be the best.

The Little Picture.

Olivia comes home to find Dante waiting for her. He says Lucky suggested he go after Michael for information, but he wonders if he has the right to put Michael up against his own father. He asks what he should do, but she doesn’t see a good solution to this. She thinks he has gotten too close to these people and he wonders how he can live with himself if he sets up Michael to betray Sonny. He thinks he has to remember what Ronnie keeps saying: he's a cop and has to bust Sonny without thought to his family. She tells him to listen to his heart and if it's wrong to use Michael to bring Sonny down then he has to find another way. He goes over all the angles and she says no father wants to hurt their son and no son wants to hurt their father.

Sending a Message.

In a Metro Court hotel room, Olivia accuses Sonny of stalking her, as he offers her a glass of champagne. She reluctantly takes it, but tells him this won't work because she loves Johnny. He asks why that is and she gets defensive and wonders why he cares. Sonny says maybe he's trying to make her happy and figure out who she is now. Olivia obliges and lists all of the qualities she loves about Johnny and Sonny says it sounds familiar. She assures him that Johnny is not a substitute for him and while he will always have a special place in her heart, they are different people now. Sonny knows that, but thinks they still have a connection and he's trying to figure out why she's trying so hard to fight it. Sonny says he's free now, but Olivia reminds him she's not. Sonny doesn't think they can deny that they feel right and thinks she's using Johnny as a way to keep him away. She tells him she will always have feelings for him but she will never act on them. Sonny can respect that and offers her his champagne and dessert, and then leaves.

We Have to Talk.

Diane waits for Sonny in his office, who wants her to get the case on Claudia closed, by having her declared missing instead of possibly murdered. Diane points out the difficulty in this, but Sonny needs to protect Michael. Olivia comes to the office and Diane sees how this all makes sense. She thinks him pursuing Olivia could be seen as a motive for murder should the case remain open. Olivia makes it clear there is nothing going on and declines Sonny's invitation to have dinner because she has plans with Johnny. Olivia leaves and Diane says she'll see what she can do about declaring Claudia missing, but orders him to keep his wedding ring on and act like a married man. After Diane leaves, Johnny comes to the office and Sonny assigns him an all-night job. Max and Milo talk with the boss after Johnny exits and tell him the job isn't necessary, but Sonny already knows this and was just trying to get him out of the way.
