Sonny Makes an Emotional Plea.

Out at Wyndemere, Nik has carried Claudia to the study for a change of scenery. She comments that his home is scary looking but quickly adds that she's grateful to be there. Nik says she's welcome to stay as long as she follows Nadine's rules and stays still. He asks again who stabbed her and she brushes it off. She simply says that she's not very loveable and didn't exactly grow up in a normal family. She talks about loving her brother, however, and that he's the heir apparent to the family business. Nik can certainly identify, so he shares a little about his family background. Claudia is surprised to hear he's a prince and says that their two families sound very similar.

Alfred announces that Lucky is on his way down the hallway so Nikolas stashes Claudia out of sight. The two brothers hug and Lucky tells Nik that he's pretty sure Lulu is sleeping with Johnny Zacchara. Nik reminds Lucky that the harder they push Lulu away the harder she'll fight to stay with him. They talk about Laura and how they don't want Lulu to end up like her and Lucky asks Nik to put a little pressure on Johnny to walk away from Lulu. Nik agrees to try and then sees Lucky out. Claudia steps out from her hiding spot and asks Nik if his sister is really a whack job?

Sonny Is Finally Ready to Make a Change.

Nikolas has asked Nadine to come out to Wyndemere to check Claudia out. Claudia isn't happy about it, but Nadine promises that she won't tell anyone she's here. After she looks at the wound Nadine tells Claudia to keep it clean and stay off her feet. As Nik's about to see Nadine out, she asks him why he's keeping Claudia in the room he shared with Emily? After Nik returns from the launch, Claudia asks where "Nurse Betty" is. She points out that Nadine wants to be more than a friend to him but Nik says that Nadine is fully aware that he'll never love anyone but Emily. Claudia asks him to tell her about Emily and Nik eventually gives in. Claudia listens as he explains how he and Emily met and fell in love. He says that he has everything a man could want but it means nothing without her. Claudia advises him to give it some time.

Departures.

The storm continues out at Wyndemere. Inside, Claudia denies having said anything about the Corinthos boy but Nik doesn't buy it. He tells her that either he goes to the police or he goes to Jason Morgan. Claudia urges him not to say anything because Jason will kill first and ask questions later and she doesn't want her brother to pay for what she did. She says that she wasn't trying to hurt Michael, she wanted to kill Sonny. She opens up and tells Nikolas how Sonny locked Johnny up and tortured him for days and she was so angry she couldn't see straight. She said that she and Johnny agreed to a truce after it was all over, but she arranged the hit behind his back. She explains how she came to hire Ian Devlin and asks Nik how well he knew him? Before Nik can confess knowing the guy, Claudia recalls having seen Ian in Nik's office at GH. Nik matter-of-factly admits that he paid Devlin $10 million dollars to import illegal drugs for him a while back. He says that the money likely had something to do with her waterfront property so he's probably guilty to some degree too. Regardless, he says that Michael was robbed of his life and they both should pay for that in some way. Claudia says she'll pay with her life if need be, but she doesn't want her brother to. She asks Nikolas what he'd do for his brother and before he can answer Alfred enters and says the telephone is working now. Nikolas asks Claudia if she needs a doctor and when she says she feels better Nik tells Alfred they won't be needing the phone.

Oopsie.

"Did you have Michael Corinthos shot?" Nikolas asks a delirious Claudia out at Wyndemere. She clearly thinks that he is Johnny so she continues to talk about how much she hates Sonny but she didn't know the boy was going to be there. Alfred comes into the room and Nikolas whispers that he needs to get through to the police as soon as possible. Claudia comes around and asks why he is helping her and Nik wants to make sure she knows who he is. Claudia says his name and apologizes for her father's rampage at his black & white party. He says that his fiancée was killed that night and that families like hers kill people and move on. She reminds him that someone just tried to kill her and he asks what she did to deserve it? His accusing tone provokes an argument and he tells her that the jury or, worse yet, Sonny will make her pay for what she did to Michael.

Things That Go Bump in the Night.

The storm is raging out on Spoon Island and Nik is out in the middle of it. He has mistaken a very wounded Claudia for the ghost of Emily and pulls away. He takes one look at her and can see that something is seriously wrong with her. Claudia collapses without saying a word and he scoops her up and takes her into the house. He lays her down and notices her wound. He puts pressure on it and she screams out in pain as she wakes up. He pours her a drink to help with her pain and asks what happened. Claudia says that she was stabbed and pushed into the harbor. When Nik asks why someone would do that she informs him who she is and says that everyone wants her dead. Through her pain, she teases Nik for being called "master" by his staff. He pours peroxide on her wound and she starts to complain about a pounding in her head. Nik wants to try to get her to the hospital but she tells him that no one can know what happened! He checks on her later and finds that she's burning up with fever. She calls him Johnny and says that she had no idea that Ian was going to shoot that little boy.

It's Like Valentine's Day, Only Different.

Out on the waterfront, Claudia is able to curse at Jerry in spite of her pain and Jerry tells her that her beloved brother will be better off without her. He looks as if he plans to finish the job by slashing her throat but he hears footsteps so he quickly pushes her off the docks into the water with his foot. Alexis approaches and asks him what he's up to. He asks why she always thinks the worst of him and she asks what the splash was. He admits to tossing a bad sandwich overboard and offers his wrists for her handcuffs. Alexis tells him that he's such a good liar that it's hard to tell. Jerry offers to walk her to her car because she shouldn't be out here in the dark.

The storm is in full force and Nikolas tells Alfred that he's going outside. As he walks the grounds near the launch ramp he thinks he sees Emily. Claudia can't believe her eyes when he appears and takes her in his arms.

A Heartbreaking Move.

Out at the Zacchara mansion Claudia tells Johnny that they should convince Jason that their dad is the one who had Michael shot. That way, Jason will take care of Anthony so they don't have to. Johnny whispers that he thinks they should distance themselves from the shooting because with Devlin dead, they are the only two people who know they were involved. Just then, Jerry arrives and Claudia's eyes fly wide open. Jerry quickly tells a story about how he kissed Claudia on the waterfront and perhaps he was wrong in assuming the feeling was mutual. The cover continues as Ric wheels Anthony in. Jerry switches to business mode and says that he's come to talk about the Alcazar piers. He says that he's planning an import business and would like to arrange to use them. Anthony tells him to go to Sonny instead, but Jerry expresses his desire to work with the Zaccharas. Ric walks Jerry out and tells him to stay away from Alexis and his daughter now that he's going back into dirty business. Jerry tells Ric that he's in the same boat now.

Jerry calls Claudia down to the waterfront to meet him and is promptly chewed out for showing up at her house. Claudia then informs him that he is going to help her frame Anthony for Michael's shooting. Jerry asks what's in it for him and Claudia says that once she and John are at the helm, she can decide what happens with the piers. She says that she's prepared to get things done and Jerry says, "Then I'll guess you'll understand this." He pulls out a knife and stabs her in the abdomen.
