Johnny brings Claudia a blueberry muffin and a latte. He tells her Sonny has no reason to stay married to her and thinks she is delusional if she thinks she and Sonny have a connection. Claudia defends her relationship, but he tells her the night of the accident he found Sonny kissing Olivia.
Claudia has a dream that Sonny happily comes for her and their baby. Claudia wakes up and cries as Sonny walks in the room.
Jerry's Back and Alexis Confesses.
Sonny walks in Claudia’s hospital room and sees her trying to get ready to leave. He says it’s too soon and she needs to recover, but she isn’t sure how to recover from her baby dying. Sonny says she needs to deal with her loss and she cries over how painful her grief is. Sonny is grieving too, but Claudia questions it wondering if he’s just saying what she wants to hear so she doesn’t implicate Michael. Sonny just wants this whole thing to be over and asks her to back up Carly’s story.
Alexis comes to see Sonny and Claudia and tells them that Michael has taken Kristina on the run.
Claudia talks to Uncle Ruddy so she can get justice for her baby. She thanks him and hangs up. She then calls Jerry, noting that she knew he would be surprised to hear from her, but she has powerful connections. She tells him to find Michael and bring him to her.
On the Run.
Johnny returns to Claudia’s hospital room to check on her. Claudia asks Johnny to find out who drove her off the road and killed her son. Johnny informs Claudia that Michael confessed, but he didn’t mean to hurt her, just like she didn’t mean for him to get shot. Claudia wants someone to pay for what happened, but Johnny reminds his sister Michael had a whole year to pay for what they did to him. Johnny fears now that her baby is gone, the truth about Michael’s shooting will come out. Claudia doesn’t care if Sonny and Jason find out because nothing could be worse than losing her baby. Johnny tries to console her, but she thinks he wanted her baby to die and orders him out of her room.
Sonny returns to Claudia’s room and they discuss Michael. He knows she wants justice, but he says it was his fault and punishing Michael will not bring their baby back. Sonny can’t lose another child and asks her if she saw the car that ran her off the road. She doesn’t remember anything except for the lights, the crash and the pain. He tells her Carly doesn’t believe the car that hit her was Michael’s and asks her to back Carly up. Claudia agrees to say whatever he needs her to.
Sorry For Your Loss.
Sonny comes to Claudia’s room after praying in the chapel. She tells him his prayers didn’t come true because their baby is dying. Claudia wishes there were more memories of the baby so she could have something to hold on to. Sonny blames himself for the way he treated her and tells her she’s a good mother. They discuss what could have been and then Sonny apologizes again. Claudia tells him to go to the chapel and pray because he’s good at it and it’s not something she will ever do again.
Johnny comes to see Claudia who tells him the baby is gone. She lashes out at him for never caring about the baby, but Johnny assures her that isn’t the case. He asks if there’s anything he can do and she tells him to find the person who killed her son because they need to pay.
Kelly comes to see Claudia and offers to have Dr. Winters come to talk to her. Claudia asks why exactly the baby died and Kelly tells her it was due to the seatbelt’s force during the accident. Kelly asks if there is anyone she wants to have called and Claudia says she wants to see the person who ran her off the road.
