Maxie Covers Some Ground!

Jason appears out at the Zacchara house to warn Anthony not to land his shipment on his pier because it would violate their truce. And because he'll blow it up, in fact. Anthony says that he would love to see that happen, but this time Jason will get what he wants because he's merely a man in a wheel chair these days. Jason gives an approving nod and walks out the door. That's when Anthony stands up and throws a glass against the wall.

Later, Trevor and Ric show up and Anthony tells them that there won't be any new product coming in tonight. He chastises Trevor for arranging a shipment that he can't land, and tells Ric that from now on, he's in charge of shipments. Trevor says that decision will bite Anthony in the butt, but Anthony says that Richie got Johnny out of jail and that's that. Trevor says that Johnny is still vulnerable to Lulu and breaking them up should be Ric's new job. Anthony gives that task to Trevor instead.

Lulu Starts to Wonder.

Out at the Zacchara mansion, Claudia breezes past Anthony's breakfast table and pours herself some coffee. He tells her that since she saved her brother, he has big plans for her. When Ric and Trevor show up, Anthony compliments Ric and slams Trevor at the same time. Trevor says that Richie's so-called success practically fell in his lap when Claudia decided to perjuring herself. Anthony isn't listening. Instead he announces that Ric deserves a bigger role around here, and Claudia can come back to the family business - on a limited basis. As Claudia beams, Trevor shakes his head and leaves the room.

And the Verdict Is...

When Johnny walks out of the court room a free man, Anthony asks him how he feels. Johnny thanks him for standing by him the whole time and promises not to forget it. Meanwhile, Claudia saunters up to Ric and says that they are a good team. Ric shakes her hand and reminds her that he told her so.

Madam Foreperson.

Anthony and Trevor discus what Claudia said in court and Anthony says their plant on the jury should have an easier time swaying the rest of the jurors to their side now. Trevor points out that Claudia has always had a strange connection to Johnny and how she has never had another man in her life. Anthony wonders if the jury will believe Lulu and Trevor dismisses her as being crazy, but says John’s best bet is on that jury.

Liz Makes a(nother) Move!

Down at the court house, Claudia's very first statement on the stand is that she saw her brother kill Logan Hayes. When Rick asks her why she didn't say that when she testified earlier, she said that nobody asked. Claudia says that she was having a sexual affair with Logan while he was her father's 'chair pusher' to get inside access to her family business. She says that Logan was obsessed with Lulu and it 'creeped her out' when he used to call her by Lulu's name during sex. Finally, Lulu walked in on them one time and Logan was furious at her for setting him up. She reports that Logan didn't even seem to care that Lulu was in love with her brother and he ended up attacking Johnny at the Metro Court. She says that Logan went on to make one last attempt at Lulu's workplace to beg her to come back to him. She says that later he showed up at her penthouse and tried to kill her. (Over at the defense table, Anthony looks down-right entertained.) She says that he axed through her door and she grabbed a kitchen knife and tried to back him off. She gets increasingly upset as she relives their struggle and Ric gives her a tissue. She says that Logan unbuckled his pants and was going to rape her but Johnny came in. She says that Johnny picked up the knife and Logan ran right into it. The jury looks shaken, the defense, hopeful, and Scotty is clearly disgusted by her testimony. She ties up a few loose ends by saying that she insisted that they cover it all up. Ric provides the list of people she called to replace the door and the carpet to prove it. Scott gets a chance to redirect and he jumps at the chance. He calls her story a 'cooked up fairy tale' and tells the judge that he is done with the liar. Ric tries to enter Logan's military record that proves he stabbed a fellow soldier over a girl. Scott objects and calls Logan a victim, but Ric says that there are times when a victim has it coming.

ELizabeth, Carly's Mini Me?

During the court recess, Trevor assures Anthony that he'll appeal if the jury convicts John. Anthony makes his own promise, "If the jury convicts John and I lose my son, you're going to lose yours. Just so we're clear." Across the room, Claudia shows up and begs Ric to put her on the stand. When the judge returns, Scott rests the prosecution's case and Ric calls Claudia to the stand.

Scott Calls Lulu to the Stand.

Down at the courthouse, Anthony taunts Scott with his daughter's name, "Serena." He says that perhaps the special prosecutor is forgetting there's another child he could lose. Scott tells him to stop flapping his dentures because Serena is out of his reach. Anthony promptly gives Serena's Paris street address and notes that she lives alone.

Kate Finds Out.

In the courtroom, Scott offers to supply documentation that Logan Hayes was an undercover police officer at the time of his death. Ric objects, but the judge only offers a brief recess. The jury grumbles amongst themselves that someone's life is now in their hands. Over at the prosecution table, Anthony tells Trevor that every juror will pay if they sentence his son to death. Meanwhile, Ric tells Johnny that he can plea bargain and get maybe only ten years instead of lethal injection. Johnny won't do it. He says that Anthony will settle for nothing less than an acquittal and that Ric will be in the line of fire if he doesn't get it.

On Death Row?

Anthony arrives at the PCPD and tells Johnny that he looks as innocent as a newborn babe in his new suit. Johnny only wants to know where Claudia is and wants assurance that she won't say the wrong thing on the witness stand. Anthony tells him that he puts his trust in the wrong people. After he leaves, Claudia shows up and asks Johnny if he really thinks she'll stay quiet about something that could set him free? Johnny begs her to respect his wishes. Just then he is told it's time to go and Claudia says she'll be late because she has an errand to run.
