Harsh Realities.

Anthony hasn't shown up at the Zacchara mansion yet, so Johnny asks Claudia how much of what she said on the stand is a lie. She says that all of it was and he should just follow her lead. Anthony shows up and promptly kicks Claudia out from behind his desk. He asks for an update about the business and then asks Claudia if she had anything to do with the Corinthos kid getting shot in the head? She said the kid would be dead if she planned it. Ric and Trevor start to bicker and Anthony tells them to step outside so he can spend time with his kids. He apologizes to them for his past transgressions. He takes both of their hands and says if they stay together they can have it all. Johnny and Claudia exchanged cryptic looks and smile. Then Anthony tells Claudia that Zaccharas don't involve their women in business so she needs to leave. Johnny pretends to agree, so she leaves, but she is seething.

Beginnings.

After the judge has heard both sides, he comes to a decision. He says that no testimony was offered to convince him that Mr. Zacchara is a present danger to himself or others, and then releases him from protective custody. After it's all over, Trevor tells Ric to scurry off where he came from. Anthony tells them not to fight in public, but says that he's looking forward to their dog fight. Logan stands up and wheels him to his afternoon therapy appointment. Claudia kisses her dad in congratulations while Johnny just looks on in disgust.

Anthony has Logan wheel him onto The Haunted Star and then leave. Luke finds him spinning the roulette wheel and they have a very civilized conversation. AZ acts truly remorseful for his actions against Luke during his "insanity" at the B&W ball and Luke seems to take him for his word. AZ quickly changes the conversation to his son's reasons for going into business with Luke. Just then, Lulu walks in and AZ asks whatever will they do about her? Luke grows visibly uncomfortable.

Nuts or Not Nuts, That is the Question.

Anthony is at the courthouse dressed in a suit and waiting for his hearing to begin. Trevor surprises Ric by appearing and announcing that he's ready. Ric starts to argue and Anthony tells his dysfunctional legal team to pipe down. Ric doesn't want to work with Trevor, but Anthony tells him that Trevor is a brilliant lawyer in spite of the fact that he's a snake. He makes sure Ric knows that this is his chance to humiliate his father in public, unless he can't do it, that is. Duly challenged, the defense team moves into the courtroom.

Bon Voyage Dr. Devlin?

Sonny, standing in the doorway to Anthony's room, is giving Ric the chance he's always wanted - to be close to his brother. Things get heated and Ric says that he's tired of obsessing over his brother and he's finally ready to cut his losses. He says that Anthony can get him the power that he wants! Sonny tells Ric not to come to him when the bodies start piling up. In fact, Ric is not to come to him for anything from now on! After Sonny leaves, Ric tells Anthony that the only reason he's doing this is to bring his father down.

After Ric has left, Trevor shows up at Shady Brook. Anthony offers him what's behind Door #1. He explains that if he helps Ric win his case, he'll keep them both on board. He tells Trevor that is more than he'd get from his two kids. Trevor laughs and says that they've come full circle.

Diane Gives Spinelli a Pep Talk.

Ric is at Shady Brook with Anthony preparing him for next week's hearing. He tells him to appear as much of a victim as the people he hurt. As they talk, Johnny walks in and demands to know where Claudia is. Anthony takes the opportunity to grill his son over whether or not Ric came to him on his own or was sent by him and his sister? Johnny takes the credit for providing Ric's services and Logan speaks up and says that Johnny is lying. Johnny leaves, for now, and Anthony reminds Ric that he used to rip people's tongues out for lying to him.

Sonny walks into Anthony's room looking for his "brother". Ric, surprised to hear Sonny use the word, gives him a minute. In front of Anthony, Sonny says that they wasted a lot of years hating each other and now is their chance to actually be brothers. Ric, tired of him playing the brother card only when it's convenient asks Sonny what's in it for him. Sonny's answer is one syllable. "Me."

Faulty Brakes.

Logan is pushing Anthony from physical therapy back to his room at Shady Brook. When they arrive, Claudia is sitting on his bed and acting like the perfect "daddy's little girl." She tries to take credit for hiring Ric to get him out of prison, but Logan says otherwise. Ric shows up just in time and busts Claudia for violating his restraining order. Claudia tries once again to tell Anthony that Ric is her hired gun and Anthony says that someone is lying. "Give me one reason to believe you over my daughter," he says to his surprised attorney. Ric and Claudia go at it and Anthony takes it all in. As Claudia tries to convince Anthony that Ric is working for Sonny a security cop comes in and throws her out. After she's gone, Anthony tells Ric that Claudia made some sense and points out that Ric wants power. Ric says that the only agenda he has is to gain power away from his father, that's all. Satisfied for now, Anthony tells Ric that he can handle Claudia.

Out at Shady Brook, Logan has tucked Anthony in for the night and left. One of the Zacchara goons comes in and tells Anthony that the ambush on Claudia has hit a snag. He tells Anthony that Jason Morgan showed up and pulled her out of the car after it crashed. Anthony says that he wants the shooter to take them both out.
