Carly Vows to Ruin Kate.

Claudia and Sonny have just exchanged their vows over at Anthony's house. There's an awkward pause after the Padre says that it's customary to kiss, but Sonny finally reaches out and gives Claudia a very untender kiss. Sonny pays the Padre and then joins Claudia to cut a cake that Anthony has surprisingly provided. He raises a champagne flute and says, "A toast to my new son-in-law and my beautiful daughter. May your union bring peace and prosperity to us all." Before anyone can take a second sip, he pronounces the wedding over and tells Claudia to make herself scarce so they can have a meeting. Sonny takes the lead and says that all meetings will be at his house from now on. When Anthony objects because his wheelchair makes travel difficult, Sonny says that he's not invited. Sonny and Claudia leave arm-in-arm.

Anthony Tosses the Bride Away.

Claudia has gone home and told Anthony that her wedding will be tonight. Anthony is pleased and insists on doing this his way at his house. He starts to make arrangements, and Claudia cracks that must mean candles and flowers, right? When Johnny shows up and learns what's going on, he says that he'll leave the family for good if this happens. Claudia softly tells him that this is for him, too. After Anthony leaves them to work it out, Johnny reminds her that Sonny will kill her if he finds out that she indirectly had Michael shot. She doesn't plan to bring that up. He says that she just hopes that Sonny falls in love with her and she wipes tears away as she begs him to stay with her.

Ric arrives for the wedding and tells Claudia that she looks beautiful. She tells him that this doesn't have to change anything between them, but he says it does. He lays a juicy kiss on her anyway. Trevor and Anthony come in, followed by the 'Padre', Sonny, Max and Milo. Before the ceremony begins, Anthony orders the clergyman to make sure it's done by the book and without any loopholes. "What a sweet way to give me away, Daddy," Claudia comments. Unshaven and chomping on gum, Sonny takes in the vows and nods as Claudia agrees to take him as her husband.

Two Women, Two Children and a Bunch of Russians.

Over at the Zacchara mansion, Anthony beams over the impending nuptials between his 'pearl' and Sonny. He tells Ric to pour drinks and Sonny reminds them that he answers to no one and if Ric or anyone tries to betray him, he'll walk. Anthony makes a toast to family and they all raise their glasses. He even promises to let Sonny carve the Thanksgiving turkey. Then he reminds Sonny that he had to swallow his pride and come to him because Jason wouldn't let him back into his own organization. Sonny promises to handle Jason and Anthony replies that he's counting on it.

Anthony has beckoned his children to his chambers. He tells Claudia to go to Sonny and seal the deal, and she agrees. Johnny objects and says that he won't go along with pawning his sister off to gain power! Claudia says this is just a business arrangement and Anthony says that he's proud of her. Suddenly Johnny gets that Claudia is seeking approval and warns her against hoping that Sonny falls for her. After he leaves, Anthony asks if Johnny is right and Claudia replies, "Do I look like a woman who has any romantic illusions to you?"

Looks Like Sonny's Engaged. Again.

Kate goes to GH to fill a prescription without any idea that a Russian goon is on her tail. Soon Anthony is wheeled by. He cheerfully greets Kate and expresses his sympathy over her losing her groom to Claudia. She tells him to go to hell.

Anthony and Ric are talking strategy at the Zacchara mansion. Anthony hears voices and is able to sit in his wheelchair just moments before Sonny comes into the room. Sonny says that it's in their best interest to join forces. Anthony insists that Sonny actually agree to the terms that he laid out earlier. "I'll marry Claudia" Sonny says with a grimace. Rick practically turns green.

A Great Place to Raise Your Kids?

The freighter explosion, truck yard fire, Kelly's fire and Sonny's father's beating have put a big smile on Anthony's face. "Who says Port Charles isn't a great place to raise your kids?" Anthony tells Johnny as he reads the newspaper. Johnny asks if he had anything to do with it, but Anthony says it's all due to a Russian organization. He says that all of this will work to their advantage though because Sonny needs protection more than ever. It's time to welcome your new brother-in-law into the family, he tells Johnny.

Sonny Swims With the Fishes!

In the hospital, Claudia is pleading with Anthony to make a change so they can be a real family. He wakes up and calls her by another name; she tells him who she really is. "You're a viper," he whispers and accuses her of trying to kill him. Johnny comes in and Anthony tells him that Claudia left him to die. Johnny says Claudia saved him but Anthony won't listen. He keeps telling Johnny that Claudia tried to kill him; Johnny won't listen. Sonny comes in and Claudia agrees to marry him! Sonny says the organization needs him and he is willing to step in to ensure that their organization doesn't fall apart. Johnny hates the idea but Anthony interrupts and says he approves the marriage. Sonny walks out. Johnny can't believe it; Claudia says she understands why it has to happen. "This is for your benefit," Anthony says.

I Do...Believe My Water Broke.

Laura and Scott have settled into a hotel room in LA. They have enough new clothes to last for a while, and Laura recognizes Grauman's Chinese Theatre from the window. He reminds her that "Kramer vs. Kramer" was playing when they were on their honeymoon and suggests that they should go down to the Hollywood Walk of Fame to see if they can recognize all the names. She tells him that the nice clothes and nostalgia won't win her back because she's moved on. He shows her their marriage certificate that he has kept all these years. He says that he did move on, and loved other women, but he never gave up on loving her again. Laura reminds him that her recovery might not last long and she'd like to see her children. She tells Scott that she did love him once, but Luke came along and overwhelmed her. Scott says that he's just asking her to consider a future with him. She reminds him that he stole her away from a mental institution, but Scott says that her ex-husband just wants to spoil her rotten, that's all. She laughs and agrees to go to dinner.
