Back at Shadybrook, Lulu is in a session with Lainey. Johnny is listening outside the door, but only for a minute. He hears Lulu say that she hasn't had any more hallucinations and now knows that she didn't really get any threatening letters. Having heard enough to know that she sounds as if she's getting the help she needs, he leaves.
Lucky finds Claudia on the docks and demands to know where her brother is. Claudia says that she won't tell a cop and she certainly won't tell Lulu's brother! Lucky asks what this has to do with his sister? Claudia says that Johnny is with a hooker at this moment, trying to get over his heartbreak over Lulu. He tells her to keep Johnny out of trouble, and then leaves. Johnny comes out from behind a crate and yells at Claudia. She ignores him and asks why he's been interfering with shipments down here anyway? She tells him to find another way to get over Lulu than to keep putting his life on the line!
Johnny is furious when he finds Claudia and Ric naked together in his penthouse. He tells Claudia that she doesn't need to sleep with a pig like Ric, and that he's using her to get into their family's inner circle. Ric denies it and tells Johnny that he doesn't get a say in the matter. As the new lovers start to get dressed, Claudia tells Johnny that she didn't have to go through with the bet, she wanted to. Ric tells Johnny to find another way to deal with the fact that things in his life aren't going well, so Johnny does. He punches Ric in the face. Claudia thinks quick and knocks her brother out. She promises Ric that she'll call him, but tells him to leave so she can handle Johnny.
When Johnny wakes up, she tells him that they should watch movies all night so that he doesn't sleep in case he has a concussion. Johnny, rubbing his head, tells her to promise that she won't see Ric Lansing again. Claudia says that her personal life is off limits, just like his is. Johnny says that he'll kill the guy if he so much as makes her cry.
Johnny returns home from his soggy little visit at the PCPD. Anthony thanks him for trying to block Karpov's shipment, unless, that is, he wasn't trying to help his old man. Johnny only says that he wanted to get a new speed boat anyway. Anthony asks why he's so surly and Johnny breaks down in sobs. He says that he is finally accepting his fate in life as a member of this demented family. Anthony softly tells him that he had a brief stint with the normal life, too, with Claudia's mom. He reminds Johnny that Lulu went crazy because he didn't stay away from her as he knew he should've. He promises to train his son so that he'll be ready to take over when he's gone. Johnny grows agitated and starts pacing the room. Eventually, he spots the Russian gun case and asks Anthony if he has a new hobby? He sizes up the situation and decides to test his theory. He pulls Anthony to his feet to see if he can stand. When he lets go, Anthony crumbles to the ground demanding an explanation. Johnny places the gun over the now-empty wheelchair and says that whoever finds him here will also learn who Kate's shooter was. Unless, of course, Anthony can walk and hide it first. After Johnny has left the room, Anthony is thrilled that his son is back!
"Welcome back, punk," Scott says to Johnny as he is brought into the PCPD. He asks why he'd try to kill himself by ramming his boat into a freighter after escaping a lethal injection for killing his son. Johnny asks for his lawyer and Scott promises Johnny that one day he'll swallow his silver spoon and choke on it. Johnny says that since the law prevents him from being tried twice for the same crime, he might as well tell the truth. "I killed your sorry little son and loved every second of it," Johnny blurts out. He taunts Scott about how Logan wined like a little baby screaming for mercy as he shoved the knife into his gut. Scott can't take it anymore, so he pounces on him. Ric, followed by Claudia, rush into the interrogation room and pull him off. Ric threatens a lawsuit until Scott lets Johnny go without charges. He says that the kid will self destruct anyway.
Things are pretty heated out at the Zacchara mansion. Johnny is upset about Lulu, but it comes off as anger when pitted against his father. Trevor announces that Karpov is landing a shipment tonight because he knows that Kate's shooting has everyone distracted. Trevor wants to take action against Karpov, but Ric says that they should let the shipment land so maybe Jason will take him out. Anthony sides with Ric.
Johnny's bodyguard catches up with him on the waterfront and tells him that he's too drunk to take his boat out. Johnny knocks him out and asks if he wants to bet how many times his boat can circle the Russian freighter?
Lulu rushes out into the hallway to ask Howard, the orderly, if he left a note on her tray. He didn't. When Lulu returns to her room, the note is gone, making her wonder who else knows that she killed Logan. She quickly calls Johnny. When he returns to Shadybrook to see what she's so upset about, she can tell that he doesn't believe her. He tells her that maybe it's all in her mind, that's all. He explains that Tracy took him to Laura's room earlier and he's worried that Lulu will end up the same way. The more Lulu begs him to believe her about the note, the more he affirms that her mind is crying out for help, that's all. He says that he can't give her the help she needs, so he has to leave. She follows him out to the hallway and starts screaming at him until the men in the white coats come to take her away.
Sonny yells for Jason and sends, "I'm going to kill you," ringing through the church. Olivia falls to her knees in prayer. Jason draws his gun and takes off, with Cody right behind him. Johnny covers Lulu and Jax rushes over to Carly's pew and covers her.
