Diane shows up, sees the flowers and knows exactly where Alexis was last night. She grumbles about the dangers of sleeping with the likes of Jerry Jacks and then asks for coffee. Diane puts the lecture aside and asks Alexis how it was with him? Alexis tells her there are no words for it and brags about how good she normally is with words. They talk about the animal magnetism of their respective bad boys and pinky promise not to turn their backs on them, (figuratively speaking, as Diane points out).

Alexis Won't Be Denied.

Diane approaches Alexis's office just as Carly is leaving. Alexis hopes that Diane was able to find a legal loop hole for her, but Diane reports that Alexis doesn't have any legal grounds to stand on. She invites Alexis to come back to The Haunted Star with her and relax and Alexis asks if she's being obtuse on purpose? She says that she's too busy having a nervous breakdown. Diane leaves and Alexis yells that she's sorry.

Off on an Adventure!

Wednesday, June 11 2008

Diane is pleasantly surprised to find Max in Jason's office. Since Jason hasn't shown up yet they proceed to make out. "This isn't going to work," Jason coolly says as he opens the door and catches them. He clarifies that when they are in his office they are on his time. Diane and Max agree that the point is well-taken. Diane tells Jason that he is a joy to work for and she'll miss working for him when Sonny comes back. She explains that Sonny tore up the final custody papers last night and is likely having second thoughts about their arrangement.

Out in the coffee shop, Spinelli is being confronted by the bigot who called Leyla a terrorist last night. He asks Spinelli if he pats his girlfriend down for explosives every night and Spinelli takes another swing. This time the guy is ready and he quickly pins Spinelli down on a table. Suddenly he's in Max and Milo's cross-hairs and Diane tells him that he made a grievance error in judgment. She speaks her legalese until the guy apologizes to Spinelli and, ultimately to Leyla. Spinelli also demands his money and when it's handed over, he tells Diane to donate it to the Red Cross - the organization that helps people regardless of their creed. The guy scurries off and Spinelli proudly boasts about his bravado in protecting Leyla's honor. Max and Milo tease him and tell him to be more careful because he could've been hurt if the guy hadn't been too drunk to defend himself.

Carly!

Tuesday, June 10 2008

Sonny is at home working when Diane brings him the finished papers that renounced his rights to Michael and Morgan. He promptly tears them up. Diane says that if he plans to change his mind he'll have to get another lawyer to fight for him. She explains that not only is the decision irrevocable but she happens to agree that Morgan is safer without him for a father. With that said, they both calm down and Sonny asks how Jason is doing in the business? Diane tells him that all is well for now and he should relax and enjoy his new life.

Nik's Actually Considering It!

Out in the coffee shop, Diane is doing her best to translate Spinelli's problem. To finally get to his point he says, "Apparently my lady love craves desk sex with Mr. Corinthos Sir." Diane struggles to not spew her coffee out of her nose. Once she regains her composure she gathers the straight facts from him. When she finally grasps the situation, she says that Maxie dropped a huge hint and that he needs to seize the moment. "Damn it man, go and get her!" On his way out the door he runs into Lulu and says that the time has come to seize the moment and whatever else he can get his hands on!

No Room at the Inn.

Tuesday, June 03 2008

Sonny is serving Kate a new blend of coffee when Alexis bursts in with a newspaper and says that his retirement lasted a whole 24 hours. She demands to know if he set the arson fire at the Zacchara mansion. Kate leaves for work and Sonny tells Alexis to ask Jason because he is no longer in organized crime. Alexis says that nothing would make her happier, but predicts that he can't stay away from power for long. As they talk, Diane shows up and Alexis asks why he still needs a lawyer? Diane explains that she's on separate retainers for Sonny and Jason. Alexis informs her that her office will be questioning Jason. After she leaves, Diane tells Sonny all of the problems she's having with him going "legit." She tells him that people who have been loyal to him for years are now in the line of fire and that he basically blackmailed Jason into taking the business when he should've handed his boys over voluntarily. Sonny tells her that she has crossed the line.

Jason Strikes Back!

Friday, May 30 2008

Spinelli is "paying the price for the pursuit of male perfection" as he attempts to work at the coffee warehouse. Jason comes in and wonders why he's limping and ends up getting an earful about his pursuit of "guns" and Maximista. Jason sits behind the desk and fills Spinelli in on his new status within the organization. Spinelli reminds Jason that he's not exactly the desk-sitting type. As Jason explains how it came about, Diane comes in and asks Jason if he's going to use "the grasshopper" as his alibi while retaliating against the Zaccharas? Spinelli scurries off, but not before urging Diane to talk Stone Cold into putting his heart ahead of his new business interests.
