Noah Will Never Be Father of the Year.

Friday, September 19 2008

After Alexis leaves, Diane curls up with her laptop. She slowly notices that there's music coming from outside, so she walks out on her terrace to investigate as lyrics of 'let's get back together' fill the air. She can't believe her eyes when she realizes that Max is standing below her terrace holding a boom box over his head.

Cupid is on Hiatus.

Thursday, September 18 2008

Diane is in Jason's office crying on his shoulder. She laments over Max's abs, his puppy-dog eyes, and his dreadful cheap suits. She snaps out of it and tries to get ready for a meeting, but crumbles again when she realizes how much she's going to miss her boy toy. Sonny comes in to talk to Jason about the wedding, and Diane lashes out at him for having the gall to expect people to sit through the travesty that will be his wedding. Sonny tells Jason that they'll talk later and gets the heck out of there. Jason offers to postpone their city council meeting, but Diane won't hear of it.

Lulu Starts to Wonder.

Wednesday, September 17 2008

Across the room, Max and Diane are eating. They had noticed the tension between Jax and Carly, and Max alludes to the fact that he thinks it's Diane's fault that they have broken up. One thing leads to another and somehow Max says that he doesn't think Sonny and Carly really cheated since they were married once and they only did it that one time in the limo. Happy to hear what Max's criteria for cheating is, she asks if he has cheated on her? He clarifies by saying that since they are only in a casual relationship, how would it be cheating? Taking that as a 'yes', Diane tells him that he'll never have the chance to cheat on her again because they are through!

Diane shows up in Jason's office in a sour mood. In the course of doing business, she manages to insult him several times simply for being a man. Just as Jason asks what is bothering her, Max busts into the room and asks if she has cheated on him!?! They proceed to make their argument even bigger and Jason sits and watches it all. Diane says that Mr. Giambetti is trading in an experienced woman for a young blonde in a tight sweater. Max says that she probably would rather be with a boss than a bodyguard and accuses her of being hot for Mr. C. She says that her days of slumming with a boy toy are over." Be gone with you!" she yells, and the second Max is gone, she crumbles in Jason's arms.

And the Verdict Is...

Tuesday, September 16 2008

Diane gladly takes the opportunity and pushes Sonny into a makeshift witness stand. She appoints Maxie as the court stenographer and proceeds to ask how many times Sonny and Carly have gotten back together. Sonny answers all of Diane's questions truthfully and finally Kate raises an objection. She uses 'irrelevant' as her reason for Sonny and Carly's limo tryst and says that there were extenuating circumstances. Diane decides to put Kate on 'the stand' and proceeds to cross-examine her. She lays out a timeline of Sonny's lies and Kate objects because it feels like Diane is badgering her. She thanks Diane for wanting to protect her, but says she's a big girl and can make her own decisions. She says that she loves Sonny and wants to spend her life with him.

Sonny Didn't Even See It Coming.

Friday, September 05 2008

Sonny has gone home and found Diane waiting for him. She tells him that he needs to tell Kate about his indiscretion. She says that independent, self-made women have a hard time committing and Kate has put her heart into this relationship. Sonny says it was a one-time thing and Diane begs him not to marry Kate if he cannot be faithful. "When I'm married, I’m faithful," Sonny says. He tells Diane that Kate's heart is safe with him. Diane claims that she needs a martini because she's starting to understand his logic.

Kate Finds Out.

Thursday, September 04 2008

"Kate, there's something you need to know about," Clarice says the second Sonny and Kate walk through Sonny's door. Kate practically purrs when she asks if it has anything to do with Crimson. When Clarice says that it doesn't, Kate promises to focus on her when she comes into work. Max and Diane remain in the room and Diane is itching for Max to have a private conversation with Kate. She manages to get Kate to meet Max on the terrace for an iced-tea so that she can go over legal matters with Sonny. It doesn't take Sonny long to realize that Diane doesn't really have anything to talk about.

On Death Row?

Max and Diane are over at Sonny's house awaiting Sonny and Kate's return. Diane is doing her best to convince Max to tell Kate about Sonny's indiscretion. Liz and Jason Revisit Their Decision.

Tuesday, September 02 2008

Diane shows up at Sonny's and catches Max with his suit pants rolled up in a "Huck Finnish kind of way." He fesses up to dipping his feet in Mr. C's pool now and then. They talk about Carly and Sonny's indiscretion in the back of the limo that night without having any idea that Clarice has stopped by.

Fevers & Spinelli are an Odd Combination.
