Sonny and Claudia Agree to Respect One Another.

Diane goes out to the office to talk to Alexis. She insists that they let her client go, and Alexis asks Mac if she can talk to her alone. She tells Diane to distance herself from this case because this time Jason has gone too far. They go back into the interrogation room and Alexis promises Jason that she'll find the evidence she needs to prosecute him because it's time for him to pay for all the pain he's caused in this city.

Not Again!

Jax presents Carly with divorce papers the moment she walks into The Metro Court. She thinks his grief over Jerry is coloring his decisions, but he says that this is all about her and Sonny. She spies Diane making her way toward the boutique for a shoe sale and tells her that she intends to fight her divorce from Jax. Diane demands 20% off at the boutique and then says it's 'game on'. She promptly acts as if Jax is on the witness stand as she asks him how many times he has been absent from her client's marriage. "My client is a saint for wanting to contest this divorce rather than hauling your butt to the cleaners," she says as she rushes off to the boutique.

Port Charles Loses an Angel and a Devil.

Jax has followed Carly down to the PCPD and told her that if she refuses to provide Sonny an alibi they might still have a chance together. Seconds later, Mac brings Sonny and Diane out of the interrogation room and asks Carly about Sonny's whereabouts the night that Karpov was killed. "He was with me," Carly says after a brief pause. Mac isn't satisfied, so he asks what they were doing. Carly holds off as long as she can, but finally says that they were having sex. Sonny closes his eyes in shock, but Jax just shakes his head and leaves. Diane tells Mac to get Sonny's release papers ready.

The World According to Maximus.

Claudia has just barged in the door to Jason's office and found Maximus. Max quickly tells her to show some respect for his infamous father. Once names are exchanged, Maximus asks what Anthony Zacchara's daughter is doing here? Claudia says that, to be honest, she's got a thing for Max. She proceeds to snuggle up to Max and say how great he is in bed. Diane walks in and pries her hands, and lips, off of Max.

Max and his posse walk along the waterfront. They're still talking about Claudia, and Maximus remembers her mother Dominica and how Anthony dumped her. Then he starts talking about marriage and wishes that his sons would find somebody to come home to. Diane tells Max that he should consider just that, then leaves. Maximus tells Max that she's too mouthy, but Max says that she's perfect. Maximus says that he has a stop to make on his way to the airport, and then hugs his boys goodbye.

Giambettis Versus the Russians.

Jason slips into his office and finds only Diane there. She explains that Maximus said something about 'cracking some skulls' and took the boys out on a field trip. Jason asks where they were headed, but Diane doesn't know. He calls Cody to find them before they start a mob war. Diane doesn't want Jason to humiliate Max in front of his father but Jason yells, "If I'm not going to war for Sonny, I’m sure as hell not going to do it to impress Max's father!" Diane assures him that Max won't start a war no matter how much he wants to keep his charade alive.

The matter settled, Diane pours herself another scotch. Carly arrives looking for her 'boyfriend' Maxipoo. Diane tells Carly to can the ruse because the Giambetti boys aren't around. Then she adds that Carly was a tad too arduous toward Max for her taste anyway. Carly discounts her and marches right over to Jason. She says that they have a problem with Sonny. Diane excuses herself to go home and soak in a tub, and then Carly tells Jason that Kate asked her to talk to Sonny, but it did no good. Jason says that he was hoping Sonny would cool off until they could get more proof against Karpov.

Diane is beckoned to Alexis's office. Alexis asks for her advice as a mother and as a lawyer. Diane reminds her that she hasn't a maternal bone in her body, but she can give legal advice. Alexis pulls out the photo of Sam and Karpov. She explains that she had Karpov followed based on Olivia's statement and now she's found out that her daughter is smuggling drugs! Diane asks what Alexis would do if Sam weren't her daughter. Alexis says that she'd get a warrant. Diane tells her to go see Sam first because arresting her daughter should be a last resort!

And the Lie Just Keeps Getting Bigger.

But things are hardly status quo within the Morgan Organization at the moment. Carly flounders as she finds Max behind Jason's desk and Jason taking orders. Diane steps in to make the introductions, and Carly finally gets that Maximus needs to think that Max is the boss. Jason asks 'Mrs. C.' if she'd like anything to drink, and Max blurts out that Carly is his girlfriend, but she prefers to be called his 'little lady'. Diane is seething as Carly pushes her way into Max's arms for a big cuddle. She says that she really loves her big guy. Diane escorts Carly out and the second they are gone, Maximus tells his son to dump her so that he can have her.

Mac Did What No One Else Could.

Jason has just walked into his office and found it full of people. Diane introduces Jason as Max's bodyguard, but Maximus says that he knows exactly who he is. He calls Jason a 'goombah' who shows no respect by walking into the boss's office wearing jeans. He demands an apology from Jason and then whacks him upside the head. Maxi, Milo and Diane wince as they wait for Jason's reaction. Instead, Jason says that he meant no disrespect and leaves. Maximus turns his attention to Diane and asks if she has a man. Diane says that her man is wonderful, tender and loving. Maximus calls him a loser because a woman like her needs a real man.
