Thursday, January 08 2009: Spinelli is Going Down.
Diane goes to Alexis's office and admits that she's in no rush to take Jax to the cleaners. Alexis says that the divorce is breaking her heart because Jax is unhappy. "Where's a biker and a beer when you need it?" she says out of pure frustration. Diane suggests that they simply tell the judge that their clients are still in love. When Carly and Jax arrive, they say they know exactly how to proceed.
Wednesday, January 07 2009: Lines are Drawn in the Dirt.
Max overhears Sonny arrange for another shipment to be landed in Jason's territory. He asks if he were in Jason's shoes, would he retaliate? Sonny can't see why Jason would fight him over a little logistical situation. Before they can talk further, Diane arrives with her letter of resignation. Sonny accuses her of siding with Jason against him. Max says that without Diane he's surrounded by no one with honor. He leaves in frustration and Diane tells Sonny that he's left her no choice.
