Sonny is with Claudia, Kate and Olivia in the FBI trailer. Just as Kate is ready to tell Sonny about the DVD, Rayner comes in. They will all be transported to Mercy, but he has a few questions for Sonny. After everyone leaves, Rayner asks Sonny what he knows about Anthony's family business and threatens Sonny with violations by association. When Sonny claims to know nothing, Rayner asks if he's entered into an agreement with Jason Morgan. Again, Sonny doesn't answer, but Rayner makes it clear that bringing Sonny down would be a good score, too.
Claudia is resting in her room when Kate wheels in. Claudia continues to deny having anything to do with Michael's shooting, but Kate calls her the missing link that Sonny's been looking for. She says that Sonny needs closure but she doesn't want to be an instrument in another human's death, even someone like Claudia's. She lays out various scenarios on how Sonny will react when she confesses. Just then, Sonny comes in and asks what's going on. Kate says for now this is between her and Claudia. Olivia takes Kate away, but Kate promises Claudia that they'll talk again soon.
Another One Bites the Dust.
Jason leaves Claudia with Kate and takes off after Trevor. Kate tells Claudia that Jason would've surely left her to die if he knew that she was responsible for Michael's coma. Claudia tells her that the toxin has gone to her brain and she's become delusional. Kate says that Jerry explained the whole thing in the DVD and she intends to let Sonny know. Claudia continues to deny any connection to Ian Devlin but adds that Jerry Jacks was a psychopath. Patrick rushes up and tells them that they're on the next chopper.
Kate and Claudia are tucked inside the FBI trailer awaiting an ambulance. Rayner asks what they can tell him about the missing toxin and Kate says that Trevor Lansing has it. Rayner informs them that they just found Trevor's body on the ground.
Trevor Loses It.
The next person who Trevor runs into is Kate. She's been left in a stairwell, so he offers to help her. She tells him that she doesn't need him, but he says that he's the only game in town because her childhood lover was just a fantasy. He asks her to come with him and says that he loves her. Kate doesn't want any part of him. He shows her the poison and says that they can trade that in for a free ride out of the Zacchara ruins. Sam comes across them and realizes that he's the one with the stolen poison, so he slips away.
Jason comes across Claudia on the burning landing and lifts her up a few flights of stairs. When he puts her down she asks why he'd leave her there, but then notices that his arm is bleeding. After a brief rest, he carries her to the spot where Kate is waiting. Kate tells him that Trevor has the stolen toxin and he's running away from Sam. Jason leaves them together and takes off.
Jax Used Up One of his Lives.
Everyone else is starting to head up toward the roof. Sonny pushes Claudia into the hallway where Kate and Olivia are waiting. He tells her that she was foolish to wait for him to rescue her and says that he doesn't want her falling out of the chair again. Olivia whispers to Kate that Sonny obviously cares more about his wife than he lets on. Then something catches Kate's eye - the DVD has fallen from Claudia's chair and is on the floor by her feet. She calls Sonny over to her. He steps over but says all that's important now is getting everyone out. He leaves and Kate tells Olivia to walk over and pick the DVD off the floor. With both Kate and Claudia unable to leave their wheelchairs, Olivia retrieves the DVD as Kate asked. Then she takes off with it and says it's for the best. Claudia beams.
There's No Way Out!
Carly is pushing Claudia around the hospital looking for an evacuation exit. Ahead of them is Olivia pushing Kate, who is telling her that they need to find the DVD first! The four of them end up at the same dead end. Claudia urges Carly to find an escape, but Olivia wants to get a plan first so they don't end up in another smoke-filled dead end. Through clenched teeth, Kate tells Claudia that after all she's done maybe her karma is to die here tonight. She turns to Olivia and tells her to go look for the DVD, but Olivia goes off on her. Carly enjoys the show, but Kate tells her that she will be very interested in what the DVD has on it. Sonny runs up and Olivia, referring to the unique group, says, "I guess this is what you'd call an awkward situation right Sonny?" Suddenly very quiet, Claudia's eyes fall on the DVD on the floor not far from Olivia. Sonny says they all have to get out. Claudia tells Sonny to take Kate out and come back for them. Carly jokes that she and her new BFF will be fine.
Sonny has pushed Kate to the door and is about to turn around to go back when she tells him that she has to talk to him. Sonny says he has to go get Carly and Claudia and runs off. Olivia has had enough. She demands that Kate tell her what could possibly be more important than this fire they're in the middle of?
Flames + Oxygen = Boom.
Olivia is rattled and tells Kate that she needs to leave her for a minute to get some answers about the explosion and fire alarms. Kate asks her to go look for the DVD, but Olivia can't understand what is so important about a DVD when they are in a burning building?
