Spinelli has arrived at the hospital and completed his forms. Robin finds him and thanks him and Kelly is ready to lead him down the hall. Before go goes, he assures Dr. Robin that he's healthy and glad to help. Robin smiles and wishes him luck. Once he's sure that she's alone, Patrick finds her and says that now is the time to speak up if she's having second thoughts.
At the hospital Robin is preparing herself to receive a head trauma patient. When she arrives, Robin's eyes are playing tricks on her and she sees herself on the gurney for a minute. After the patient is whisked off to surgery, she asks Kelly for a consultation -- for herself. She tells her friend that wanting to have a baby is forcing her to see her own mortality. Kelly says that it's normal for prospective parents to think about the possibility of leaving their children behind. Robin says that she's more certain than ever that she wants to be a mother, but isn't having any luck finding a father. Then she decides that it's time to take a different tact when approaching her candidates.
Spinelli arrives at the hospital to find Dr. Lee. His voice is deeper than it's ever been as he guardedly asks what his participation would entail. Without using many words, Kelly is able to help him to connect the dots and he wildly nods in agreement.
Kelly and Robin are talking from behind the nurses' desk. Kelly reminds Robin that parenthood, especially single parenthood, isn't easy. Then she talks about the pitfalls of being an HIV positive single mother. Robin contends that she knows what she's doing, she loves Patrick but they couldn't work out their problems. Kelly says that it's not fair to create a baby to fill a void. Robin explains that after her pregnancy scare it became crystal clear that she wants a child and Patrick doesn't. Robin says that she would manage her HIV so that everything possible would be done to protect the baby, delivering by c-section for starters. Kelly says that if Robin insists on taking this path she can recommend a sperm bank. But Robin wants to find someone on her own. Kelly goes from being a doctor to a friend in a second and they giggle as they start a list of guys who can father Robin's child. Leo, Andy, Nikolas, Lucky, Jax… (They decide to scratch Andy since Kelly likes him). Kelly suggests Eli Love, but Robin says that would be icky. Sonny? Robin says that would be incestuous since he was like a big brother to Stone. Jason. Then they scratch Jason because he wouldn't want to be a test tube father, he'd want to be involved. Kelly suggests Max and Robin can't see why not. And, since Spinelli is a genius, he makes the cut, too.
When Patrick has a moment, Leyla gives him the paper and he recognizes Robin's handwriting. "Whatever party Robin is having, guess we weren't invited," he says as he reads the list of names. He hands it to Robin. Kelly sees what's going on and reminds him that he was invited but he turned it down. Robin tells Kelly to be quiet, but Kelly says that she might as well "put it out there now". Robin pauses and then says, "This is a list of potential fathers for my baby."
Robin is back at the hospital putting her scrubs back on. She's explaining what just happened with Patrick to Kelly. She feels pathetic, but Kelly says that a "semi-recovered sex addict giving advice" is pathetic, but she will do it anyway. She admits that she's a long way from having a relationship and Robin asks what about Andy? Kelly says that for now, they are just friends. Robin thinks that maybe she and Patrick could be what they never really were…friends.
Epiphany warns Robin not to spread herself too thin and reminds her that she's already taking a double shift. So she agrees to go home. Dr. Andy finds her in the lounge as she gets out of her scrubs and back into her black dress. He tells her that it would be a shame to waste the dress and asks if he can buy her a drink. Robin asks what about Kelly? Andy says that Kelly isn't remotely ready to commit to a relationship, he wishes she would, but since that's not the case what harm is a friendly drink? Robin nods in agreement and as they walk out the door, we see that Kelly has overheard.
At the hospital, Kelly has just planted a big, juicy kiss on Dr. Leo, but he pulls away and asks her about her sexual addiction recovery program. Kelly tells him that her program allows her to feel sexual attraction, and besides, they are two consenting adults. As they give in to their passion and kiss again, this time with unbuttoned shirts, Kate opens the door and finds them. She is embarrassed and leaves. Kelly follows her out and apologizes for the awkwardness. Dr. Andy asks what Kelly is apologizing for and she admits that she kissed Dr. Leo. As they start to discuss their respective addictions, Kate tells them to discuss this in private.
Kelly finds Andy and apologizes for snapping at him. She admits that she had a slipup and is looking forward to 68 days from now when they can "celebrate". He coolly tells her to go to a meeting if she had a slipup and Kelly gets mad.
Leyla talks with Epiphany at the nurses' desk. Epiphany tells her that she doesn't want any drama other than between Doctor and Disease, not doctor and nurses. She warns Leyla not to get hurt by Dr. Drake, but Leyla says that she and Patrick are just having fun. Dr. Lee joins them and says that fun is dead and buried. Then a couple gets off the elevator and starts kissing. Kelly orders them to put their raging hormones on check. Dr. Andy pulls her aside and tells her to cool it! She says that her sex addiction therapy isn't going well and she has 9 whole weeks of abstinence left! Then she notices that he looks tired and asks how his sleeplessness therapy is going. He tells her that he'll help her, if she'll help him. He says that if they both stay clean of their respective vices for 68 more days, maybe they can get together. She says that they can "jump in the sack" and he asks her why she always makes it sound so clinical. After Andy goes to a meeting, Kelly bumps into Dr. Leo on his way to have his wound checked. She tells him that he looks "mighty fine" to her.
