Everyone Has a Theory.

After Rodriguez has left the studio, Amelia tells Sam it's odd that she never mentioned that she saw Liz in the park. She adds that Sam doesn't even seem that upset to learn that Jason's child was gone. Finally, she says that it's ironic that this happened because Sam recently said that she wishes the baby would disappear.

Jake's Gone!

Amelia goes to see Jason in jail to find out if he's going to confront Sam with everything she told him. She wants some fair warning because she thinks that Sam will likely have a melt down and the all the money that the network has pumped into the TV show will be lost. Jason thinks that Sam should know the truth and Amelia points out that she never gave him the same courtesy. She reminds Jason that Sam will never admit that she knows about Jake and will play his guilt forever until she secures her hold on his bank accounts with a child of her own. Jason is quiet for a while and then tells Amelia that the network's money is safe because nothing is going to change…for now.

Jason Is Conflicted About Jake

At the hospital, Sam meets with Dr. Lee about the test results. She tells Sam that having a baby will be more difficult than they originally thought! It turns out her eggs aren't as viable as the doctors originally thought and there is only a 10% chance that she will be able to have a biological child. "You can't offer me any other hope?" Sam asks. Dr. Lee suggests adoption but Sam doesn't want to hear it. Sam goes to work. Amelia sees how upset she is and asks what is wrong. Sam tells her, worried that Jason won't want an adopted child now that Elizabeth has given him a biological child. She is worried that Jason will never need her again and angry that she will never have a child. Amelia tries to be supportive, reminding her that she does have Jason, but Sam isn't so sure. They move to the set and Sam begins to prepare for her interview. The woman she is interviewing talks about wanting another baby and almost hating women who have babies. Sam understands how she feels. Interview over, the mother begins to cry and Sam comforts her. Amelia sends Wes after the mom but Sam tells them to leave her alone. Wes leaves and Amelia again offers her sympathy to Sam. "Sometimes I wish that Jake didn't exist," Sam says.

Sam's World is Closing In.

Jason is having a hard time with what Amelia is telling him about Sam. She tells him that Sam cannot stand that he has a son with Elizabeth and that's why she keeps orchestrating chance meetings with them - "to twist the knife." Jason is suspicious of Amelia's motives for wanting to tarnish Sam in his eyes. Amelia says that it's actually a relief to tell him everything. Then she continues dumping all of Sam's secrets on him. She says that Sam wants him to confess that he is Jake's father. She explains that Sam is insecure that Elizabeth made him a father and she couldn't. In fact, Amelia tells him that Sam is taking steps to insure that she becomes the mother of his child, too. His eyes open wide as Amelia explains that Sam is hoping to use her eggs and his sperm with a surrogate. Jason says that Sam wouldn't do something like that, but Amelia says that Sam knows he could never turn his back on his own child and that would secure her financial position once and for all. Jason -- still not wanting to believe his years -- says that Sam will walk out on "Everyday Heroes" when she learns of Amelia's betrayal. Amelia says that at least she will have done right by her father.

Amelia returns to the set to find Alexis waiting for her. Alexis pounces on her and says, "You came all the way here to make my daughter a star? I'd like to know your motives." Amelia wonders why Alexis doesn't think much of Sam's capabilities. Alexis starts to give fair warning, but then Amelia cuts her off by saying that this is Sam's big break and if Sam blows it it'll be her own fault.

As Lucky and Liz hang out on the sofa playing with Jake, someone is on the front porch looking through the window at them. It's Amelia.

Amelia Tells Jason Everything.

Jason is brought to the holding room to see Amelia - at his request. She tells him that she has everything he's ever wanted to know about Sam but was afraid to ask. Then she plops down a file and tells him to take a good look. As he leafs through the file, Amelia explains about all of Sam's aliases and then finally how she became Angela Monroe. She says that when her dad married a woman the same age as she was that was bad enough. But when she cleaned out his bank account and was planning to leave town things turned even worse. The bank had called Bill Monroe and he came home and confronted her. Turns out he ripped the diamond watch right off of Sam/Angela's wrist. She turned a shotgun on him and claimed self defense. Jason expresses his sympathy for Amelia's loss, but says this has nothing to do with him. He asks Amelia why she would build a TV show around someone who killed her father? Amelia says that she wanted to punish Sam by exposing her for who she really is. But now that the show is a hit, Amelia doesn't want her own career to tank along with Sam's life, so she's not sure what to do next. Jason says that he can't let her hurt Sam. "Looks like she's found herself another sucker," Amelia says as she shakes her head. She tells him that Sam is lying to him on a daily basis.

Amelia is still filling Jason's head with her theory about why Sam came to Port Charles. She says that Sam's pregnancy with Sonny's baby is what trapped him into staying with her in the first place. She says that Sam is desperate to have a child with him for fear of losing him "to the mother of the child that you already have." As Jason's eyes fly wide open, Amelia tells him that Sam knows that he is Jake Spencer's real father.

Amelia Tells All.

Amelia comes right out and tells Sonny that Sam murdered her father. Sonny doesn't believe it and tells her to explain. Amelia is happy to do just that. She tells him how Sam was a perfect chameleon over the years in order to dupe rich men out of their money. She pulls out photos of Sam in her various roles and explains how she would get a man to marry her and then disappear with his money. She tells Sonny that when Sam married Bill Monroe, the pattern turned tragic. She explains how Sam killed her father and then moved on to Port Charles - and her next target. Jasper Jacks. Amelia says that most likely when that relationship didn't work and Sam moved on to another man of power. "Me." Sonny says.

Sonny's Got His Hands Full!

On the plane, Sam and Amelia talk about the shows they just taped. Sam is excited to get home and tell Jason how everything went. Amelia wonders if Jason will really be excited at how well everything went. Sam assures her that he will be, believing that her life has finally turned around. She talks about her plans for becoming a mom and Amelia wonders if Jason will fall in line with Sam's plans. She says she will go through with it, even if Jason isn't on board! She believes that having a child, any child, will detract from the bond between Jason and Liz! Once home, Sam goes straight to the hospital and asks the nurse about her eggs. Ric sees her, wondering why she is at the hospital instead of by Jason's side - in the jail! Sam is stunned. Ric digs in the wound, wondering why Jason's first call wasn't to Sam. He leaves. Sam heads out, too.
