Sonny is One Persuasive Guy.

Skye is put back on the stand and Diane is able to get her to say that there was no blood or any kind of disturbance in her home the night that Lorenzo disappeared. She also says that Lorenzo disappeared often in order to avoid the dangerous people who he was involved with. Diane asks if Skye has seen any evidence that would prove -- beyond a reasonable doubt -- that Lorenzo is dead. "No," Skye says. Ric isn't pleased. Next, Diane starts to "establish a pattern" by getting Skye to tell the jury about the time that Lorenzo found a woman to act like Sonny's dead wife Lilly. She asks if it's plausible that Lorenzo set up his own death and framed Jason. Skye is allowed to answer, "Knowing Lorenzo, it's not only plausible, but it's entirely possible." Next it's Ric's turn. He makes Skye recall that her relationship with Lorenzo was complicated and that he was a difficult man. He reminds her that Lorenzo had just taken her baby away from her and suggests that perhaps she was the person who let the killer in. Next, Ric calls Amelia to the stand. He wants to know about the night of Jason's transfer when she was caught up in the shootout between Jason and a gunman. "All I know is the defendant saved my life," Amelia says. She is also able to communicate that Jason was acting in self defense. Ric points out that the only reason she was shot at in the first place is because Jason is a mob hetman.

"Is Jason Your Baby's Father?"

Sam is in her new apartment looking at the newspaper coverage of Jason's trial. Amelia shows up and reports that Liz is on the stand and she's being questioned about her history with Jason. Sam's eyebrows go up. Amelia says that the courtroom was arguing when she left, but she assumes that Liz will tell the truth. "Once this comes out, there's nothing that will stop Jason and Elizabeth from raising their own child," Amelia taunts. Before Sam can react, Nikolas comes over and asks Sam why she called him over. She tells him that he needs to be ready to support his brother because he's about to learn what a liar he married. Nikolas says that he doesn't want to discuss this in front of a stranger, so Amelia leaves.

Ric Pops The Question.

As Liz and Lucky sit together over a bagged breakfast, he tells her that he took the day off for moral support. Then he assures Liz that all Ric wants to do is establish that Jason got a phone call while visiting her in the hospital.
Liz goes back into the witness room and soon Amelia arrives - much to the surprise of everyone. She asks Sonny why Ric hates Jason so much. Sonny says that he knows that Jason is more of a brother than he'll ever be. He adds another reason is that Jason always gets to be the hero to Ric's ex-wife, too. Then, he's escorted out of the room.

Back at the courthouse Liz is escorted out of the holding room, leaving Amelia alone momentarily. A big guy comes in and Amelia introduces herself and asks why he's there. He says that he saw Jason Morgan carry Lorenzo Alcazar's body out to his car.

Sam takes the Stand.

Amelia goes into Sonny's office to help him get rid of some of his energy while he waits to get word of Jason's trial. "We're way past that," Sonny says. She smiles and clarifies that she found a way to help Jason come off looking great. She says that Ric subpoenaed her footage of the ambush during the transfer. Sonny is upset to hear it and Amelia tells him that the footage clearly shows that Jason was acting in self defense. Sonny points out that seeing Jason take charge and successfully take out three shooters will make him look like a professional killer.

Jason's Trial is On!

Jason is being transferred back to the PCPD for his trial. As the friendly guard that he as shared the ride with helps him out of the van, shooting rings out. Amelia and her camera crew are waiting to cover the transfer and as soon as Jason realizes that he's being ambushed, he pushes Amelia to the ground. Jason sees that the guard is down, so he grabs his gun and returns fire. After he realizes that the shooter(s) are either dead or gone, he asks if everyone is okay. Just then Lucky comes out and tells Jason to put the gun down. Jason does as Lucky asks and Amelia goes to check the guard's pulse. He's dead. Lucky escorts Jason inside and Carly demands to talk to him. Jason tells her to calm down as he is escorted down the hall.

Amelia is able to blackmail Ric so that she can get in to see Jason. She thought he should know that the shooters were from Venezuela. They talk about how sad it was that the guard was killed and then Amelia thanks Jason for saving her from being killed for a second time. Jason suggests that she move her TV show to a different city. Amelia says, "I have a better idea. I'm going to keep you from going to jail."

Jason's Transfer Goes Bad!

Seeing Amelia at the television station, Sam tells her she needs time off. When Amelia objects, Sam tells her to take it up with the judge - and informs her she has been called to testify against Jason. Trying to get Sam's goat, Amelia pours salt in the wound, wondering if she will back Jason in hopes of winning him back or if she will throw him to the wolves for revenge. Sam leaves. Ric arrives and pitches a new story idea to Amelia - with him as the star! He wants her to film an episode of Everyday Heroes with Sam on the witness stand and him questioning her! Amelia turns him down, reminding him that the fans of the show want to see Sam not him. Ric promises exclusives throughout the trial if she'll go along with him. Amelia is intrigued.

Outside the police station, Jerry is checking things out. Carly arrives, worried about why Jerry is there. He asks her what goes in to her being his new best friend. Angry, Carly tells him her friendship will keep him from being killed by Milo or someone else. Jerry tells her he'll help her. He leaves. Ric walks up, surprised to see Carly and telling her that she needs to leave. He mentions the news story and Amelia's involvement, angering her. Amelia walks up with her cameraman. She asks to stay on the ground rather than up above. Carly tells Ric that as soon as the camera starts rolling, she is going to spill the beans about what he did to her in the panic room! Ric walks away and Carly follows, threatening to tell the whole truth. Diane walks in, angry now that she knows Ric has had Jason shackled. Ric defends his actions, telling the women that Jason deserves to be shackled.

The guards get Jason ready for transfer as Diane watches. She makes a note of Jason's condition and warns the guards that she'll be checking Jason out again when he arrives at the PCPD. On the drive to the PCPD, one of the guards sits with Jason, telling him that he doesn't want any trouble. As he talks about his family vacation, scheduled to start as soon as Jason is delivered, Jason thinks about his own problems, his own family and the decisions he has made. The guard asks if Jason has any kids. They finally arrive at the police station. Masked men hurry out of a black car and begin firing on the guards! Seeing Amelia could be hit, Jason hustles her to the ground to protect her from the bullets. One of the guards goes down and his pistol slides across the concrete, coming to rest not far from Jason!
