Diane whisks Alexis into the interrogation room. She tells her that she deserved her night of meaningless sex but does she have to announce it to the world? From Alexis's reaction, Diane can see that it wasn't meaningless to Alexis. As she prods her, Alexis reminds her that she's engaged to her bad boy. Diane clarifies that she and Max have decided otherwise. Alexis pushes Diane out into the main room and tells her to tell Jerry she'll call him later. A few moments later Jerry pushes his way into the room, tells Alexis that he doesn't take orders and pulls her in for a passionate kiss.
The Thirty-Minute Engagement.
Jax has just punched Jerry in Alexis's office. He barely waits for him to get up before he throws another punch. A full-out brawl ensues in spite of Alexis's efforts to break them up. As she reaches for her pepper spray, Detective Harper comes in and takes both guys away in cuffs.
Jax and Jerry are arguing in the interrogation room like the scrappy brothers that they are. Kate comes to the PCPD to bail Jax out, but Carly arrives on her heels. Alexis comes down and tells them all to go. Carly finally gets the picture and asks why the guys were fighting over Alexis? Jerry admits that he and his darling have finally slept together and Carly bursts out in much-needed laughter.
The Surly Men of Port Charles.
Ric has just busted into the D.A.'s office to find Jerry and Alexis kissing. He tells Alexis that the state representatives are on their way up to her office for a photo op. He says that her current relationship can't stand up to the scrutiny involved and Jerry says that a simple phone call would have been appreciated. Alexis asks Jerry to leave and then tells Ric to respect her privacy. He says that he doesn't begrudge her right to a life outside of work and the girls, but he worries that Jerry will turn on her in a heart beat.
Jax goes to Alexis's office to see how she is doing after her meltdown at The Haunted Star last night. He takes note of the flowers and Alexis spills that she slept with his brother. She says that she was terrified last night and Jerry held her together. She says that she is perfectly aware of all of his former wrongdoings, but somehow she trusts him now. Jerry shows up and Jax punches him in the face.
Lights, Camera, No Action.
Diane has no sooner left the seemingly revolving door of the D.A.'s office when the bad boy of the hour appears through it. Alexis orders him to remove the flowers from her office, but he reminds her of the various places they had sex last night and how each bouquet represents a different one. He tells her that they are good for each other and kisses her. She fights it for a minute or two but finally gives into it. Jerry reminds her that there is only one morning after a first time and encourages her to make love yet again. That's when Ric walks in.
Beware of the Pizza Delivery Boy.
On The Haunted Star, Alexis tells Jax and Kate to remove themselves from Carly and Sonny's lives to avoid watching them reconcile. Sonny tells Alexis to leave Carly out of this and Alexis points out that he protects Carly but not his own daughter. Jerry has arrived and insists that Alexis leave with him now. She thinks for a minute, nods and says, "How can you be any worse than the mistakes that I've already made?" After they leave Jax and Kate hurry to explain away the scene Alexis made to Giselle and whisk her back to the Crimson office. Jax tells Giselle that Sonny will escort his wife home and Kate gives Sonny a steely glare as she follows along.
Jerry has taken Alexis back to his room at The Metro Court. She matter-of-factly says that she should be at home packing up her life and taking her girls away. Jerry asks why she is reacting to Michael's shooting now? Alexis tells him about Anthony Zacchara's threat to Kristina today and Jerry promises that he would never let that monster hurt her daughter. She says that she doesn't need a criminal to defend her and he reminds her that he has done everything she ever accused him of and is perfectly capable of keeping Kristina safe. He asks her to let him help her and promises that Anthony will disappear. She asks if he's going to kill him and Jerry refuses to incriminate himself in front of the D.A. He gives her a little kiss and she draws him in for a big one. When it's over, she regains her composure and says that she has bad taste in men. He tells her that she's safe with him and will prove it to her. He draws her in for another passionate kiss.
Alexis Won't Be Denied.
Jason has come upon Jerry and Claudia on the waterfront. Jerry takes the opportunity to scare Claudia by saying that they should ask Jason what he thinks about their dilemma? Claudia covers by saying that Jason doesn't care if Jerry wants to rent space in the cannery. Jason takes her word for it and tells Jerry to dial it down a little. Jerry tells Claudia that he'll be in touch and then leaves. Claudia thanks Jason for the rescue and he leaves her standing there alone.
Jerry Has The Edge On Claudia!
Ric is at the casino when Jax and Spinelli walk in. They are told the casino isn't open and Ric is thrown when Spinelli starts talking in an Aussie accent! They are led to a table with Kate and Giselle. Spinelli, going by "Damian" now, chats up Giselle. Ric grabs Kate and asks what is going on; she says they are trying to convince Giselle to promote the new magazines. Johnny arrives and before he can blow Spinelli's cover, introduces him to Giselle. They gamble a little more. Jerry and Layla spot them and come over to the table. Jerry questions Johnny about Claudia but Johnny won't say anything. Across the way, Jax and Kate watch the table and Sonny's progress. Layla asks Johnny about Claudia, wondering why she is hanging around Nikolas' clinic. Johnny says Claudia likes to have projects.
