At Windemere, Mr. Craig tells Alexis about his deal with Nikolas but doesn't give her any real details. He also keeps his real identity to himself, then advises her to keep their dealings quiet. She leaves. Nikolas arrives back home to find Robin doctoring Mr. Craig!
Pre-Wedding Jitters.
Lucky goes out to Windemere to make sure that Nikolas is coming to his wedding. Nikolas barely looks his brother in the eye and says that he's in the middle of a business deal that could destroy his son's legacy. "This isn't like you at all," Lucky says as he leaves in a huff. Mr. Craig comes out from hiding and tells Nikolas that he'll be dead before anyone can figure out the clues that he's giving. Mr. Craig orders him not to deliberately drive his loved ones away because they are a "busybody little crew." Mr. Craig says that if he dies because Sonny or Jason have been alerted, he won't get the antidote that he needs to survive. Nikolas insists that he is NOT going to Lucky's wedding. Craig says that Emily, Elizabeth, Lulu and Lucky are key to the success of their project. Nikolas is to go to the wedding, but be home by 8 for the counter agent to the poison.
Alexis goes out to Windemere and finds Mr. Craig. She asks who he is and why is he there alone? He introduces himself as a business partner of Nikolas, and Alexis proceeds by drilling him with specific questions about the Cassidine business. He is able to dodge her questions. As she gets the book she came for and starts to leave, he asks her to stay a while.
Lulu Stumps Jason.
Mr. Craig is behind the door while Elizabeth tries to talk Nikolas into seeing a doctor. He won't hear of it, and he tells her not to let Emily know that he's sick either. Lucky walks in and tells him that painting with the peasants earlier in the day must have been too much for him. Then, Emily comes home and starts to fuss over him. He is cross with her and she asks him to pour wine because they are all having dinner. Nikolas cuts her short and tells her to ask her first before she invites people over. He tells them that he doesn't want to talk about wedding plans because he thinks they will all push him to marry Emily "in some grand fashion". Emily says that she doesn't expect anything from him, but Nikolas complains that they barely reconciled when Spencer was kidnapped and then the Metro Court thing happened. Emily tells him that maybe he's right and they should take a break. Nikolas agrees. Emily tearfully leaves and Lucky and Elizabeth angrily leave too.
Mr. Craig comes out from hiding once he is alone with Nikolas. Mr. Craig says that Emily deserves way better than him and Nikolas orders him to stay away from everyone in his life. Mr. Craig wonders if perhaps Nikolas may need Emily's medical help in the future. He informs Nikolas that he won't hesitate to kill sweet Emily if he doesn't cooperate. Nikolas says that he will get what he wants if he keeps Emily out of it. Craig says that he'll decide about that later, but Nikolas is to start by getting him a birth certificate.
Carly Chooses Her Man!
At Windemere, Mr. Craig reminds Nikolas that the fast-acting poison he was injected with will kill him within minutes. If he cooperates, however, he will be given medicine to counteract it. Nikolas sputters something that sounds like "okay." Then, through a fog, we see Nikolas coming to and looking down the barrel of a gun. Mr. Craig asks if he's going to have to kill someone of sentimental value to prove he means business. Nikolas is gasping for air and Mr. Craig tells him that "there's no point in name calling right now." He wants to get down to business. (Nikolas looks like he would just like some air.) Mr. Craig states that he needs a whole new life complete with a paper trial of real estate, business holdings, etc. "You and I will be going into business together." Nikolas tells Mr. Craig that every hostage in town will recognize him the moment he steps out in public. "Perhaps I should dye my hair then? Nikolas offers him 20 million dollars to disappear. Mr. Craig wants to start a new life right in Port Charles. He's going to take his cue from Father Mateo Ruiz � he's going to be a twin of the evil James Craig. "Accept that you're stuck with me," he tells Nikolas. There's a knock at the door. Mr. Craig ducks behind a door and Elizabeth comes in. She asks Nikolas if he's feeling okay, he says he has the flu.
